Wolf Bond

Everyone was waiting for us, back at the packhouse. When we stepped into the main hall of the packhouse everyone cheers so loudly taking me completely by surprise.

They all started laughing seeing my shocked expression but tried to cover their laugh when Donovon growls. Even though his growl holds no seriousness.Because even he finds my startled look humorous.

"Well, I wanted to congratulate our Luna for winning the challenge." Cole smirks as he walks towards us, "But it seems like we need to congratulate both our Alpha and Luna for something else too." His eyes travel to our neck.

Soon everyone starts congratulating us, as my heart feels like it will burst from the amount of love everyone has for us.

"Looks like we have to prepare for the Luna ceremony now." Julia smiles at me and engulfs me in a tight hug, "Congratulations, Ivory."

"Ivory, you have a beautiful wolf." Arthur gives me a small smile, "I have never seen such a wolf in my life."

"Thank you." I smile at him, but his comment makes me confused.

There are other golden wolves, so why hasn't he seen them before?

Before I can ask him this question, I am embraced into a big hug.

Gavin, Luca, and Jenna wrap their arms around me as Jenna kisses my cheek loudly making me frown and laugh.

"We are so happy," Jenna speaks as they release me. "Even Fire has accepted us." She looks at Gavin and Luca, as they both nod their head in agreement.

"Ivory, we need to talk about something." Donovon slips his arm around my waist as his eyes flicker between them and me.

Smiling at him, I nod my head.

Everyone has witnessed what happened in the training ground so now there is no longer a need to hide about the blood oath.

Everyone gathers around us talking excitedly about the Luna ceremony, especially all the she-wolves seem overjoyed. I am feeling tired as along with me even Fire's strength has also drained due to shifting.

Leaning against Donovon I close my eyes.

"Feeling tired?" He kisses my temple, "Want to go and rest?" he gently asks.

Opening my eyes, I find everyone looking at me in concern, feeling worried about me.

"No, I am okay." I tiredly smile, "I like being here with everyone."

It is true even though I am exhausted but the affection and love which I am feeling among these people, is compelling me to spend more time with them.

"Okay, but close your eyes and relax," Donovon whispers wrapping an arm around me, settling me to his side.

"Hmm..." I nod my head closing my eyes.

Then I frown and open my eyes.

"Why everyone is not talking?" I look around to find, everyone quietly slipping out of the living room.

Turning my head, I glare at Donovon who looks like a deer caught in headlights. Then he sheepishly smiles at me, obviously, he has mind linked everyone to leave.

"Ivory, my child." Julia calls me, "We all can sit and talk tomorrow, we all are not going anywhere." She lightly laughs, noticing my sad pout.

"But you need to rest now, as first time shifting really takes a toll on our wolf and body." She fondly smiles at me, "And we need lots of rest to regain our strength. So now go to your room and sleep."

"Yes, Ivory, mom is right." Donovon stands up taking me with him, "You need to sleep, even I can sense your exhaustion."

Feeling outnumbered, I nod my head in defeat as they are right I think I can fall asleep any moment from now.

"Okay, goodnight everyone." I smile and walk towards my room.

Before I can even open the door, Donovon throws me over his shoulder starts walking on the other side of the hallway.

"What are doing?" I whisper-yell, even though it is useless because everyone can hear us due to their sharp hearing, "Put me down you are making me dizzy."

"Taking you back to our room." He opens the bedroom door.

"But my all stuff is there." I protest and hold the doorway to stop him from carrying me inside.

"Your stuff is where it should be." He slightly twists to see what I am holding.

"Donovon!" I admonish him as my eyes widen in shock, making me release my hold on the doorway, when he smacks my butt.

"Children who misbehave need a spanking." He chuckles and quickly locks the door and throws me on the bed. "And you, my mate, misbehaves quite often."

Raising myself up on my elbows, I look at him in disbelief.

Oh...Spanking, I like it.

My pervert wolf raises her head hearing this.

As my mouth falls open in shock, hearing her thoughts.

Thankfully, Donovon has already gone to take a shower and is not here to witness my horrified face.

"Do you realize I can hear your thoughts since you haven't closed your mind link?" Donovon's amused voice comes from the shower.

Pretending not to hear him, I quickly get inside covers and close my eyes hoping to fall asleep before he comes out.

Groaning, I snuggle more into Donovon's side as someone's knocks at the door. Holding his hand, I wrap around me and buries my head in his pillow.

"Sleep, I will be right back," Donovon says in a hushed tone while even his voice is thick with sleep.

"No." I groan, clenching his arm tightly as I feel so comfy.

"I will be back just in a moment." He frees his arm and kisses my cheek.

He opens the door and I hear Cole's voice then Donovon shuts the door after some time he comes back.

"What's wrong?" I ask because he seems slightly tense.

"Nothing, just usual pack stuff." He shakes his head with a forced smile.

"You can talk to me, you know that?" I place both hands on his chest and rest my chin on them.

"I know." He flicks my nose, making me scrunch up my nose.

"So, now tell me-"

"Shhh... no more question, go to sleep now." He raises his eyebrows and places his finger on my lips.

"But-" Raising my head, I start to protest but he pushes my head back on his chest wrapping his one arm around my waist and while with the other hand he holds my head.

"Tomorrow." He closes his eyes, "We will talk about this tomorrow."
