“I just got the news and had our PR team suppress it for now. But if this leaks, we could face a lot of refund requests,” Samuel said, speaking quickly and succinctly.

Hearing this, Lucille narrowed her eyes and glanced at the computer screen, which displayed a webpage.

“It’s too late,” she said.

Samuel looked confused and glanced at Lucille’s computer. There was an article titled “Breaking News! Star&Ciel Group’s Starbright Scents Contains Chemicals!”

Lucille casually scrolled through the article and noticed it was quickly gaining traction. Below it, the

comments section was filled with insults and voices of condemnation.

“Unscrupulous company, making money off of us. How can you sleep at night?”

“I just got my order two days ago. Now I’m scared to use it. Refund my money!”

“This kind of company will go under soon. It harms people! Refund, refund!”

“What? It’s that scary? I just ordered from the flagship store. What should I do?”

“Return the product now! If your skin gets damaged, it’ll be too late. Cut your losses.”

“Exactly! Everyone who bought it should return it before it’s too late.”

“A company like this should be kicked out of the market. The regulators need to step in and punish them, right?”

Lucille quickly caught on to these keywords and, without missing a beat, said, “Don’t bother with the article. No need for a statement, either.”

Samuel looked puzzled and asked, “Then what should we do?”

Lucille, staying calm and composed, replied, “Find the victims in the video and bring back the products they used. Check which batch they came from and retrieve the test reports from the lab.”

“Yes, Ms. Johnson,” Samuel responded.

He then asked, “Do we need to recall the products that have been distributed?”

Without a second thought, Lucille said, “No need. Just give the order to let those who want to return the products do so. No need to say anything more.”

Seeing how composed Lucille was as she handled the situation, Samuel’s panic began to subside.
