Chapter 132
Marco then slowly helped Letta climb each step towards the plane that would take them to Chicago. As planned earlier, they would be staying in the country for several weeks. Marco smiled as he saw Letta, who had been smiling continuously. "You look very excited," Marco said, making Letta nod.
"Yes, because it feels like my first experience," Letta said, making Marco smile softly. Then, Marco helped Letta sit in a chair made as comfortable as possible for her. With the private jet, all the facilities inside were more than adequate. "If you want anything, just let me know. I'll be sitting over there," Marco said, gesturing towards a seat not far from him. Pedro and Marco's other assistants were already seated there. It seemed Marco needed to discuss his plans for Chicago with his team, prompting Letta to nod.
"Yes, don't mind me. I'll do what I want, so go quickly and meet your subordinates. Don't let them think that I'm holding you back," Letta said, making Marco smile.
"I won't. You are my inspiration," Marco replied, making Letta smile. Marco then caressed the side of Letta's face before heading to his seat.
Letta then looked outside, where the plane seemed to be preparing to take off into the night sky. After that, Letta tried to pick up the book she had prepared beforehand to accompany her. Not to mention, there were a few games on Marco's phone, making Letta smile. It seemed she had really prepared for this trip. Occasionally, Letta glanced at Marco, who appeared to be speaking seriously with Pedro and a few others, until they could hear that the plane was ready for takeoff. Marco got up from his seat and walked closer to Letta. Marco sat beside Letta, holding her hand.
"It might shake a little. I'm afraid you're not used to it," Marco said, making Letta feel inexplicably warmed by this small attention from her husband. Letta truly felt very happy, to the point where she leaned slightly and kissed Marco's cheek, surprising him a bit.
"Thank you," Letta said, making Marco respond with a charming smile. As Marco had mentioned, the plane shook slightly during takeoff, making Letta feel something familiar. She wasn't afraid at all and felt accustomed, but Letta still held Marco's hand, making Marco smile.
"Just a moment, it's okay," Marco said, making Letta nod, until the plane was truly soaring through the sky, heading to their destination.
"Aren't you tired?" Marco asked, making Letta shake her head.
"No, I'm fine. Maybe, can I ask for some sweet snacks?" Letta said, smiling widely at Marco, who returned the smile.
"Of course, whatever you want," Marco said, then raising his hand to call the stewardess serving them. Marco asked for what his wife desired, and in no time, there were several desserts in front of Letta, making her beam widely. "Remember not to eat too much because you'll have to rest shortly," Marco said, making Letta nod. Letta immediately spooned the dessert, which melted sweetly in her mouth, making Letta look at Marco with sparkling eyes.

"Did you also prepare the best chef to make this dessert?" Letta asked, making Marco nod.
"Of course, anything related to you, I have to prepare very well," Marco said, making Letta smile as she offered a spoonful of the dessert to Marco, who looked at it disinterestedly.
"I'm still full, so you'd better finish all the sweet treats yourself," Marco said, making Letta immediately display a pleading look.
"Come on, just one spoonful," Letta said, inexplicably delighted to force Marco to eat sweets, even though she knew her husband was very averse to them.
"One spoonful, okay. No more," Marco said, making Letta nod, until Marco finally accepted the spoonful from his wife and consumed it without chewing at all.
"How is it?" Letta asked, looking at him questioningly.
"Well, as usual, it's very, very sweet," Marco said, making Letta sigh in exasperation.
"Come on, it still has the tanginess of the strawberry and the chocolate blends right in. Isn't that an extraordinary combination?" Letta said again, making Marco shrug indifferently.
Marco then helped Letta to finish the snacks as he suggested, assuring her they would rest afterward. Letta nodded, knowing she would finish everything without being told by her husband. Marco chose to engage in conversation, leaving Letta to spend her time alone after finishing the dessert. Letta began reading a book in her lap. Somehow, her eyes began to feel heavy. Perhaps it was because it was already late, and the journey would still be quite long. Unconsciously, Letta began to close her eyes and fell asleep, while Marco was still busy with his conversation. Marco didn't know how long he had been talking with Pedro about all the strategies he would implement in Chicago until he turned and saw his wife fast asleep.
"Okay, then we'll do it as soon as we arrive there. I want thorough preparation and to find information that will benefit us," Marco said, making Pedro nod. Marco then got up from his seat, approached Letta, who was sound asleep in a sitting position, shaking his head.
Marco then approached and gently caressed Letta's face, which furrowed her brow when her sleep was disturbed. Marco finally held her hand and effortlessly lifted Letta's body, moving her to the back area where there was a space resembling a bedroom inside the plane. Jovanka's private jet truly resembled a 5-star hotel inside an aircraft.
Slowly, Marco laid Letta down on the bed, tucking her in. Then, Marco gazed at his wife's face. Somehow, Marco never grew tired of just looking at her like this, until a jolt made him look around. Marco glanced back at Letta, who was slightly disturbed. However, what made Marco furrow his brow was when Letta began to furrow her brow deeply, and sweat started to dampen the side of her face.
"She must be having a bad dream," Marco thought, seeing Letta become uncomfortable in her sleep. Marco was about to reach out to wake his wife when a name was heard from Letta's mouth. The name froze Marco's body. When Letta clearly uttered the name Sean, Marco couldn't help but remember the name of that man vividly. How could Letta mention that name?
Finally, Marco reached out and shook Letta's shoulder quite firmly. "Letta, wake up," Marco said, with a slightly raised tone, making Letta instantly wake up with a racing breath, as if she had just been pulled from her consciousness. Letta then looked at Marco with a startled expression, while Marco remained silent, as if waiting for Letta's reaction after the dream she had just experienced.
They remained silent, with Letta now looking at Marco as if she were looking at someone she had just met. The sweat dampening her face made Marco certain that Letta had just dreamed something she probably didn't want to see.
