Chapter 133
Marco then tentatively reached out his hand, as Letta didn't say a word after waking up. "Did you have a nightmare?" Marco finally asked, making Letta sigh deeply before nodding. "Yes, a very bad dream," Letta said, prompting Marco to help Letta sit back, leaning against the bed's headrest.
"It's because you had too many sweets before bed," Marco said again, causing Letta to pout. "No, it's not that, I'm sure," Letta said, causing Marco to look at her seriously. "What kind of bad dream disturbed you?" Marco asked, making Letta shake her head. "I don't know, the dream wasn't very clear, and I don't know how I could see that bad dream," Letta said, furrowing her brow.
"Were you being chased by ghosts?" Marco asked, to which Letta shook her head. "It was more terrifying than that," Letta said, making Marco raise his eyebrows. "I heard you calling someone in your sleep, who was it?" Marco asked, trying to inquire about the name Sean that Letta had mentioned. "Did I mention someone's name? Who?" Letta asked, seemingly not remembering and unaware of the name.
"Yes, you called the name of a man named Sean. Who is he? Could you have seen something?" Marco asked, causing Letta to fall silent before shaking her head. "I don't know, I don't recognize or have ever heard that name. But did I really mention it in my dream? I just saw a man jumping from the roof of a building, and it felt like it was right in front of me. Even his face was covered in blood when he jumped from the building," Letta said, making Marco's heart pound with unease for some reason.
"Could Letta continue to experience dreams like this in the future related to past events?" thought Marco. "Well, forget about it. Maybe it was just a dream. You don't need to dwell on unimportant things. If you don't know the man, maybe he was just a figment of your imagination?" Marco said, making Letta sigh in frustration.
"Why would I imagine a man covered in blood when I have such a handsome husband? I don't need to imagine anything," Letta said, beginning to smile, making Marco feel relieved that she truly didn't remember it. "Yes, well, then, rest again, as our journey is still far," Marco said, causing Letta to grasp her husband's hand.
"With you accompanying me, I don't want you to leave this room and leave me alone. I would have a hard time falling back asleep with that bad dream," Letta said, making Marco nod in understanding.
"Of course, I'll stay with you. Alright, then, lie back down," Marco said, trying to help Letta lay back down. With Marco climbing onto the bed and lying right beside her, Letta turned to face Marco, who was also looking at her. They gazed at each other before Letta tried to kiss Marco, leaving him stunned.
"Why? Because...?" Marco asked, making Letta shake her head.
"No, I just want to make sure that you're really by my side. Smelling your scent makes me calm," said Letta, who moved closer to Marco. She nestled her face into his chest and took a deep breath, making Marco smile at his wife's cute behavior.
"Yes, just like you. I feel very peaceful smelling your scent like this," said Marco, starting to lower his face. He was about to lean towards Letta's neck when she pulled away. "Don't," said Letta, causing Marco to look at her with raised eyebrows.
"Why? You just happily smelled my scent, now it's my turn," said Marco, causing Letta to shake her head.
"No, it tickles," said Letta, causing Marco to move even closer and attempt to kiss his wife's slender neck, but Letta held him back. Marco then pulled Letta's waist, leaving her unable to resist, and accepting the warm breath of Marco now blowing on her neck.
"I like your scent, it makes me sleepy," said Marco, causing Letta to slightly lower her face, looking at Marco who was now in her embrace.
"Well then, go to sleep. I will also try to sleep again," said Letta, making Marco not have to wait any longer. As he closed his eyes, Marco always managed to fall asleep quickly when he was next to Letta. Just by kissing her like this, Marco truly became a sleeping pill for him. His mind became calm, until eventually Marco fell asleep easily.

This made Letta, who was now having difficulty sleeping, just smile while stroking her husband's thick hair. Letta loosened her embrace slightly, gazing at her handsome husband's face now in her arms. Letta didn't know what kind of past he had lived or what kind of luck he had obtained, until she had such a handsome husband like Marco. Not only that, there were many additional points possessed by someone like Marco. While she was just a Letta without anyone around her. She was an orphan who was obtained by Marco, making Letta wonder.
It seems like Letta is pondering over the reasons for Marco's love for her, despite feeling like she doesn't have anything to be proud of. "I'm curious. How did we meet, how did you fall in love with me? I want to experience it for myself, not just hear it from your stories," Letta said while stroking her husband's firm jaw.
Letta then fell silent for a moment, contemplating her life that seemed like a predetermined drama, playing the role of Marco's wife without knowing anything about her childhood, her parents, or her true personality. Letta seemed to be living what she had to live at the moment. She instantly became a wife and soon would even become a mother. It was as if it were perfectly written like a script.
Even though Letta felt happy at present, deep down, she always wanted to know about her past. Eventually, with her mind filled with these thoughts, Letta tried to rest and forget for a moment. She needed rest, especially with someone living inside her womb now. Letta closed her eyes, embracing Marco, and gently caressing her rounded stomach. Occasionally, she could feel the fetus kicking and nudging, making Letta smile in her sleep.
