Thrown Away

When Finn was ready they headed off. Nikora was driving because he knew where he was going. He had ridden his bike over because even though he had a car, it didn't have a baby seat for Jai. Something he would rectify soon enough. Finn chatted away about looking for a couch and bed. She was excited and felt like a grown up finally. She would get to pick what she wanted and pay for it herself. Usually she was given whatever she got whether she liked it or not.

When they pulled up outside the house, Finn was shocked. "I know it's not much" Nikora started. "Are you kidding me? This is something I can not afford Nikora" Finn stated. "It's only a two bedroom semi, no car spot and hasn't been fixed up so it is within your budget" Nikora stated. He didn't want to lie to Finn at all. "Finn it's usually just used when people in the club need a place after finding their partner. It sits empty otherwise. You will be profiting the club by paying rent" Nikora explained. "Do you want to see inside?" Nikora asked. Finn nodded her head before taking Jai out of his car seat.

"Finn I need to tell you that this house will be my Tupuna's place soon. The house they are in across the road is a 5 bedroom place and she is getting on in her years" Nikora stated. He didn't want to say that when he found his woman it would be his house because he was hoping Finn would claim him and they would move into that house together. It was a tradition that the pres took that house as it was at the back of the club so he was close. Nikora mainly stayed at the club or in the room he had at his Tupuna's house. His mother didn't want to move into that house claiming it would never feel like her home. It was lucky she never did because she had cheated on his father multiple times and never had anything to do with the club.

"Ok so will you give me notice?" Finn asked. Nikora smirked at Finn and then kissed her lips. "Nik, want to introduce me to your lady friend?" Someone called out. Nikora knew it was his Tupuna and rolled his eyes. "Sorry, thought she would be out" Nikora whispered before turning to face his Tupuna. His grandfather was standing right beside her looking at Nik with sympathy. "Tupuna, this is Finlay but everyone calls her Finn. This little pork chop is her son Jai" Nikora introduced.

Finn stuck out her hand, "nice to meet you ma'am" Finn stated. Nikora's Tupuna looked Finn up and down before pushing her hand away and embracing the girl in a hug. "None of the ma'am business thank you. You make me sound old. Call me Tupuna or Connie. This is my husband Jim" Connie said smiling. Finn smiled at Connie, "you couldn't be a day over 50" Finn stated. "Oh I love this girl, don't stuff up Nik or I'll beat your arse" Connie laughed out causing Finn to laugh. Jai looked at both women laughing before blowing a raspberry and laughing too. "Jai my man, you are suppose to have my back, don't let the woman team up against us" Nikora stated. "We finally outnumbered them and you picked the wrong side" Nikora continued.

"Oh you did it now boi" Jim stated. "Jai you are smart, you stick with the women and you will go far. Pity this idiot didn't learn, but there is hope for you my little one" Connie cooed at Jai. Jai got excited waving his arms and making squealing sounds. Jai loved attention and soaked it all up. "Anyway Tupuna I'm taking Finn to see the place. She may rent it from the club" Nikora stated. Connie was not happy that she would be paying rent at all but one look at Finn nodding and smiling alerted her for her fact it was not Nikora who had asked for rent. "I see. Is there anything you need?" Connie asked.

Finn got excited telling Connie how she would be buying her first bed and she would look at the space to see what type of couch would fit. She had scoped out a few second hand stores for a couch and hoped they had something she liked. Finn also babbled on about saving for a bedroom suite for Jai and how he slept with her anyway so it didn't matter. "Well, why not come around to my shop after you check the place out. I make furniture now and restore second hand pieces, I have to much time on my hands now I am not running the club. We have a few seconds that I won't sell full price" Jim stated. Nikora gave him a look, he knew his grandfather had no such thing as seconds but wouldn't say anything. Jim just shrugged his shoulders, he liked the girl.

"Oh that would be great, I am on a budget but happy to pay it off if you let me" Finn replied. Nikora had never seen Finn so happy and chatty before and he was happy she was happy. "Nikora will bring you around when you finished in there. Nice meeting you Finlay and Jai" Jim said before getting on his bike and taking off. "I'll come with you. Now Finn, if you ever can't find parking you pull your car into our driveway you hear? It's nice and close so you won't be walking miles with a baby" Connie stated. Finn just smiled in response.

Nikora showed Finn around the little home with Tupuna tagging along and Finn fell in love. There was a small backyard which Finn could picture Jai playing in with a paddle pool. There was a small front yard behind the fence which had a little grass and a small garden but it would be easy to maintain. "I love it. Are you sure it's only $350 a week?" Finn asked Nikora. Connie glared at her grandson. "Yes and that covers the electricity and internet too" Nikora replied quickly. "Nikora don't lie to me. You could get so much more for it" Finn stated. "No we couldn't, we only rent to trusted people as the club's property is behind our place" Connie spoke up. "I really don't think that's a problem, most people wouldn't know" Finn stated.

"Finn, you would be doing me a favour. I could get you to keep an eye on the place when I can't. Also it's just sitting empty and it would profit the club with you paying rent" Nikora stated. Now Connie understood. "Ok, I'll take it. I should be moved in by the end of the week. I will bring over mine and Jai's things in my car each day and hopefully get the other stuff I need today" Finn chirped out. "Nonsense, tomorrow Nikora and a few of his men will be at your place to help bring your things over and I am sure you will get everything else you need today. My door is always open Finn and I would love to watch Jai for you" Connie said before heading back to her house and getting ready to go out with her friends. Nikora just smiled at Finn like the love sick puppy he was.
