Three Alphas for the Alpha Princess

Chapter 14

Chapter 14

THIRD–PERSON POV

A knock erupted from the door, immediately followed by a response from Brandon, giving permission to whoever it was to come in.

He glanced at his reflection in the mirror one quick final time, pleased with what he could see. He was dressed in a complete suit and looked the same as ever- good looking with an incomparable charisma and aura

It was still early in the morning but since he had always been one to start his day as early as possible, he was up and ready to get along with the day’s activities. He could count the amount of things he had to do on one finger but with his new personal assistant, he could already tell that list was going to experience a stretch.

Who is it!

“It’s me,” the voice was a little faint as he heard the door knob get twisted. It made a squeaky sound and I finally revealed the person behind it. Denise coming into light. “Hi, it’s me.”

She stood at the doorway and literally immediately, her presence demanded attention. Whatever he could have been doing was stopped as he turned to stare at her, taken aback for a good couple of minutes.

She suddenly looked different. Good different. Better than the night they first met or the day he decided to have her come to his pack with him. She was also dressed differently, all credits due to Bella for definitely taking her out to help with her wardrobe change.

Adorned in a blue knee length dress, she undoubtedly looked beautiful. The gown hugged her body, accentuating her every curves, Brandon realizing she not only had a pretty face but also a pretty figure.

The color was perfect on her, complimenting her skin tone to allow her radiate in the type of beauty that made him speechless for a couple of seconds.

It was no doubt he had always been attracted to her because of the mate pull

but at that moment, he felt an attraction even stronger.

Her eyes sparkled with a mix of anticipation and nervousness as she stared at him. Pluckering at the hem of her gown, she pressed her lips together, wondering what was taking him so long to just utter a single word to acknowledge her presence

“My job starts today, right?”

“Huh?” Brandon was finally yanked out of his momentary daze. “What did you say?”

“My job as your personal assistant, she repeated “I start today, right?”

“Oh, yes,” he nodded, finally shifting his gaze away from her. “You start today. It’s from today.”

“Okay,” she replied him slowly, suddenly self conscious. For a moment, she was left with no choice but to think he was staring at her and mentally wondering what she was doing in his room. “So um, where’s your office? Do we leave immediately? Is it far from here!”

She had no idea what the job entailed but she still felt a bit excited at the thought. After all, she was going to be assisting him and in the process, spending most of her time around him.

“Oh, no,” he shook his head and smirked. “It’s closeby. A bit too closeby in fact”

“Yes,” he nodded then looked at her again. “You look different by the way

A shy smile crept towards her checks at his compliment. She did look good and she had no one but Bella to thank. Her new wardrobe was completely inspired by her after they took hours roaming the pack market and getting stuffs Bella was confident would suit her.

Have you had breakfast?” Brandon asked. “Did the staffs call you downstairs for breakfast yet?”

“No,” she replied truthfully. “They called me but I didn’t answer. My woke up a bit late so I was scared I’ll be late for work. I also heard you dislike tardiness so I didn’t want to be late.”

“Well, you’re right,” he scoffed. “But you should at least have your meals. My office is only a couple of rooms away so one meal won’t kill

“What!!” Denise had to exclaim. “Your office is only a couple of rooms away? You mean, it’s in this pack house? In this building?”

“Is there a problem with it?”

you.”

“Well, not really she bit her lip. “I just wasn’t expecting it. If your office is in this pack house, then would I spend every day here? Would I never get to step out and explore the pack a little bir?”

He could tell where the conversation was going. She wanted to see more of the pack and he wanted to keep her as hidden as possible.

“I’ll take you around the pack some other time, okay?” He tried to convince her. “But for now, let’s head downstairs. We’ll have breakfast and then I’ll show you my office.”

It was more than enough to convince Denise momentarily as she nodded and walked behind him as he led the way out of the room and down the stairs to the dining. The second they arrived at the dining, a gasp escaped her lips, Denise in visible awe of the table.

It was nothing different to a feast, the table filled with dozens of delicacies. She could immediately hear her stomach grumbling, her mouth watering at the mere sight of the dishes.

Their aroma danced around her nose, reminding her of what felt like a home cooked meal. For like a split second, she suddenly missed her old pack. She missed her mother, her familiar maids and the whole comfort of her home but the moment she caught Bella by the farthest end of the room with a smile on her face, she quickly dismissed the thoughts and reminded herself to get used to her new home.

“Is this new for you?” Brandon commented, noticing how shocked she looked by the whole gesture. “Does it not match your taste?”

“No,” she replied truthfully. “I’ve been having my meals in my room so I didn’t expect such a grand table. It’s amazing.”

You should get used to it then,” he smirked as he made his way to his seat and got comfortable in it. “As it would only get eve

even grander than this

The mere thought was exciting, Denise nodding as she made her way to the empty seat closest to him. In no time, additional trays of foods were wheeled in, the plate in front of her getting filled almost immediately.

The aroma did justice to the foods as Denise marveled at every bite. Every delicacy she sent down her throat tasted amazing, cooked to literal perfection.

Occasionally, she spared glances at Brandon, watching him chew courteously. He handled his cutlery perfectly and delicately and made eating such an endearing sight, making her wonder just what he could seem bad at

She was suddenly curious about him. She wanted to know more about him than just what she could see on the surface. He was her mate so definitely, it wasn’t greedy of her to be interested in him.

Prince Brandon

Interrupting their quiet breakfast was the sound of a staff rushing towards Brandon with news to deliver to him. Standing in front of him, the st bowed lightly, signaling to depict the urgency of the news

“What is it?”

“Alpha Prince,” he began. “The King, your father, requests your presence.”
