Chapter 17
Alaelra appeared in the forest along with princess Tari.
“Where are we and where is my father” said Tari with tears falling down from her eyes as she feared that she would never see her father again.
Alaelra saw the look in her eyes and could tell that she filled with nothing but fear.
She could help but feel bad for the poor girl, in single night she had seen horrors that would give even grown men nightmares from a mad man who is thirsty for the blood of her and her entirefamily.
She looked so pure and innocent and it broke Alaelra heart to see her look so sad.
“Your father will be alright; I’ll make sure of it I promise but for now you need to get to somewhere safe where the Dark Sorcerer can’t get you” said Alaelra.
Tari looked at Alaelra with an unsure look on her face as she debated in her mind if she could trust her.
Tari looked at Alaelra and examined her wondering if she good or as evil as the Dark Sorcerer.
Tari after examining Alaelra could not find any reason to not to trust her, even though she did not know her she seemed like a nice person and not the vile, evil and heartless monsters her father told her all magic users were.
“Alright then, where should I go” asked Tari.
Alaelra smiled at her, happy to see that the young princess finally trusted her.
“Go in that direction, you will find a house there. You’ll be safe there” said Alaelra pointing in the direction of her and Afini’s home in the forest.
“Thank you” said Tari before she left.
Alaelra smiled at her as she watched her leave before she disappeared, returning back to Buganbal to continue the battle against the Dark Sorcerer.
Alaelra reappeared in Buganbal in the king’s room only to see that no one was there, not even the Dark Sorcerer himself.
Alaelra began to wonder where they could be and began to fear that the Dark Sorcerer might have done something to Delamu and the king.
She the felt the presence of the Dark Sorcerer; he was still in the castle.
She followed her senses and let it lead her to the Dark Sorcerer.
Her sense took her to the throne room where she saw the Dark Sorcerer seated on the throne with sinister smile on his face and on the ground were Delamu and the king who were chained down with enchanted chains created by the Dark Sorcerer’s magic.
“Hello Sorceress, I’ve been waiting for you” said the Dark Sorcerer.
Alaelra then attack the Dark Sorcerer with her magic not giving him the chance to strike first.
Alaelra’s magic had no effect on the Dark Sorcerer.
The Dark Sorcerer used his magic to grab hold of her, lifting her up and suspended her up in midair.
“Did you think you could actually defeat me? I wield powers you can’t even begin to comprehend” said the Dark Sorcerer as he crushed his hands into a tight fist.
Alaelra then began t feel the Dark Sorcerer’s dark magic flow through her entirebody causing her to feel an immense pain.
“Tell me where you took the girl and I will end your suffering” said the Dark Sorcerer.
“I would rather die” said Alaelra looking into the Dark Sorcerer’s eyes with pure anger and hatred for him in her eyes.
The Dark Sorcerer then used his powers to increase the pain Alaelra felt causing to yell and scream as she felt the pain inside her begin to grow.
Delamu and king Atoni watched in horror as the Dark Sorcerer continued to inflict tremendous pain to Alaelra as she screamed at the top of her lungs.
The Dark Sorcerer, tired of inflicting pain upon Alaelra, snapped his finger and the pain she felt stopped.
“I’m not going to stop you know, I could keep on doing this until your body gives out to the pain and then you die. Tell me Sorceress, are you seriously willing to die protecting that girl after everything her father did to you and your kind. I can end this all with just a snap of my fingers, all you have to do is tell me where the girl is” said the Dark Sorcerer.
Alaelra then looked the Dark Sorcerer in the eye and said, “Go to hell”.
The Dark Sorcerer then smiled before saying, “I’ve been there and it’s actually more peaceful then you would think, hearing all those tormented souls scream in pain as they suffer in the hands of demons while the devil seats on his throne and laugh brought a smile to my face and do you want to know why Sorceress”.
The Dark Sorcerer then brought her closer before whispering softly to her ears, “Because I’m far worse than the devil himself”.
The Dark Sorcerer and began to strike Alaelra once again with his dark magic but this time he wasn’t trying to torment her with pain he was trying to bend and corrupt her mind to his will.
“I will take you go to hell so you can know what it truly means to suffer for all of eternity. You will see the demons that have haunted and tormented me my whole life and then finally you will come face to face with the devil” said the Dark Sorcerer as he used his magic to corrupt Alaelra.
Alaelra tried to resist but the Dark Sorcerer’s magic was too strong for her to fight.
She could feel her mind slowly bending to the will of the Dark Sorcerer, she knew she didn’t have much time and in a matter of a few moments she would be under his control.
She then turned to Delamu and the king, knowing that she had to free them and get them away from the Dark Sorcerer before he took control of her.
So Alaelra began to gather what little strength she had left.
She then screamed using every ounce of strength and magic she had, “Tonjura illumina”.
Then her entire body erupted with a blinding light that shun throughout the castle.
The light was so great that it overwhelmed and blinded the Dark Sorcerer causing him to free Alaelra from his magical grasp.
Alaelra then went to Delamu and the king while the Dark Sorcerer was still blinded by the light.
Using her magic, she freed them from the chains the Dark Sorcerer used to hold them.
Alaelra then grabbed hold of them and used her magic to make them both disappear.
Alaelra then fell to her knees, panting from exhaustion.
She then felt the Dark Sorcerer’s black magic began to take control of her once again.
She tried to fight it as best as she could but she wasn’t strong enough to resist and at the end she fell to its power.
Her eyes glowed red as the dark magic took full control her.
She then went to the Dark Sorcerer and healed his blind eyes, giving him back his sight.
“Well don Sorceress” said the Dark Sorcerer with a sinister smiled on his face.
He then looked around and saw that the king and Delamu were gone.
“Where is the king?” asked the Dark Sorcerer.
“I don’t know, I used my magic to take away from you but I prevent myself from knowing where so I would not tell you when you took control of me” said Alaelra.
The Dark Sorceress smiled admiring how smart Alaelra was to take the Delamu and the king away from him but keep herself from knowing where so she wouldn’t tell him.
“You are truly a clever woman” said the Dark Sorcerer.
“Thank you master” said Alaelra.
“Do you have any idea where you might have taken them to” asked the Dark Sorcerer.
“They must still be within the kingdom as I was too weak to take them anywhere further” said Alaelra.
“Good” said the Dark Sorcerer before he snapped his finger, then he and Alaelra then disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.
They then reappeared in Tari’s room where Afini was still lying on the floor unconscious.
“Wake him up” said the Dark Sorcerer.
Alaelra then went to Afini and used her magic to heal Afini of all his wounds and wake him.
Afini then got up, with his still eyes glowing red and corrupted like Alaelra’s.
He then turned to the Dark Sorcerer and bowed before him.
“How can I serve you my lord” said Afini.
“I need you and her to find the king and bring him to me alive and if anyone tries to stop you put an end their pitiful lives” said the Dark Sorcerer.
“Yes my lord” said Alaelra and Afini before they left with Alaelra disappearing with a flash of blinding light and Afini turning to a lightning bolt and flying high up to the sky and forming a mighty storm cloud above the sky.
