Ch 15

Jessara pov

I go running out of the room in hysterics looking for Killian. I run around screaming his name when I turn a corner and see him running down the hallway. I run straight into him when he quickly kneels down looking at every inch of me searching for what’s wrong. I quickly grabbed his face, making him stare at me.

“He can talk to me through the babies, Killian!”

The moment I say it I hear a maniacal laugh echo through my head. I just backed up grabbing my hair screaming to leave me alone. When Killian stares in confusion trying to comprehend what I said. It hits him who I’m referring to and quickly grabs Hades and Tanook as well as me and heads straight down to the cells. I hear him explaining what’s going on and Hades keeps coming back saying ‘it’s impossible’.

When we enter the cells we all walk over to his cell where he is just sitting on the floor chained up. He starts laughing which sets off Killian.

“Well I knew you would be down here at some point. Sooner than I thought though, I would have thought the mother of my kids would love to hear me talking to her. I guess not!”

“How are you doing it? You’re not mated to her!”

I flinch as he starts to stand up looking straight at me. I feel Killian put his arm in front of me pushing me behind him.

“See King Killian, when the elders decided to bring me back it started my plan in motion. I don’t give a shit about my guards. I do though care to right my wrongs and treat the mother of my children right. You gave me a second chance by bringing me back. So soon the time will come when the plans will be done. You will be dead and Jessara will be mine. Then we will raise our pups together and be that loving family.”

I feel Killian tense up when I back away. My heart is tearing into two, because what did he and the elders agree to with Hades? I quickly make my way out of the dungeon up to the main floor. I get out to the main floor and I can feel my stomach turning. I run down to my room as fast as I can and the moment I enter I be-line for the bathroom. I make it just in time to lose every amount of food I had in my stomach and extra I think from the night before. I slowly lower myself down on the floor when my emotions get the best of me and I let the sobbing take over.

I can hear footsteps running down the hall when his scent hits me. I hear shuffling towards the bathroom when he starts talking to me.

“Jessara, my goddess I’m so sorry. I had no clue that this would happen!”

“Well I hope you and the elders are happy now! All because they couldn’t just leave it alone. So now what? Go have your fun since that’s why they brought them back.”

“We brought them back for justice to be served.”

I jump up to a standing position because I have had it.

“Justice?! You think justice will be served by bringing him back to torture and kill him? Justice will never be served!”

“Why not?”

“Because I’m fucking pupped by him you asshole! Either way he fucking wins! Now get the fuck out of my room!”

“Jessara....”

“GET OUT!”

I see him turn storming out when I run to the door behind him, locking it. I walk to my bed, throwing myself into it, and I just lay there for what seems like hours. I can feel the anger ripping through Killian and pain going through the babies. Most likely from their father Matecor. I just curl around my stomach when the pain starts getting to be too much. I try to ignore it but I can feel the stinging and blood dripping as if it’s happening directly to me. I beg through the mindlink for Killian to stop because It’s hurting when he screams back no to me. I beg again and I’m told no again. I mind link Tessa to come quickly to the room and bring the doctor.

I lay there drenched in my sweat and blood when I hear the door break open and screaming when I give in and see black surround me.

Killian pov

Ask me to stop? What is she thinking? No. I’m not going to stop! I’m going to make this piece of shit pay for everything he has done! I’ve been beating him nonstop with our chains watching his blood pour all over the cell floor.

“King Killian get to Jessara’s room now!”

I look at the guards and drop the chain running as fast as I can. On the way I see Rikar turn out of a hallway in front of me when I run behind him. When we enter I see him run over when I just stop and stare.

“What the hell happened here! Guards seal off the palace!”

“King, it looks like she has been beaten with a chain. Look here you can see the marks from the links.”

I walk over looking and can feel the blood drain from my face. I start stepping back mumbling to myself. Oh my goddess she begged me to stop over and over. How? How did he project the pain through to her unless it’s through the babies! That son of a bitch! I yell for the elders and Hades. Within minutes they walk in shocked at what the scene is before them.

“What happened to the Queen! She looks like she got the shit beat out of her!”

“I got to get her down to the med ward so I can address the wounds properly. Some will need stitches, and a good cleaning.”

I see the doctor request help in just taking her down to the ward. There’s no time for a gurney, and I understand why.

“I was beating Matecor and he projected what was happening to him to her. She begged me to stop twice but I told her no. I had no idea!”

I just stare as the doctor and guards carry her away when I feel hands try to wrap around my throat. I quickly look and see Rikar going after me when I start to fight with him to get away from me.

“How could you! You didn’t even listen to her!”

“I know Rikar! I didn’t know this could happen!”

I look at the elders and Hades wondering what if. What if I were to kill him?

They must have understood the question when they shook their heads.

“You kill him, and it could kill her and the pups.”

“So then what do we do? Have her kill the pups? Hades can’t you take him back?”

“He will just project what happens in my realm to her.”

I go to ask another question when I’m mind linked by the doctor to come to the med ward. I look at Rikar and quickly make my way down through the halls to the doctor, and when I walk in I see nurses standing in the hallway crying looking at me with such hatred and anger. Yes I get it already I fucked up! When I get to her door the doctor comes out all red and sweaty. I can hear Jessara screaming from the room crying, so at least I know she is awake.

“Doctor what is going on?”

“We had to sedate her wolf because she’s going ballistic!”

“I understand what I did. I will try to explain to her and her wolf.”

“It’s not about the beating, she’s lost the pups because of it. We double checked for heartbeats but there’s none, and her body has already started the process of aborting them. They won’t be very big but soon they will be born.”

“Can I please see her?”

“She doesn’t want to see you right now. She has a big day ahead of her as she will have to deliver them dead.”
