The Return Of The Amazing Single Mom By Wendy Titus

Chapter 95

Chapter 95

Brigham said, “I initially thought that you disguised as Nancy to get close to Duncan, but I didn’t expect you to catch an even bigger fish. And Mrs. Elizabeth Reeves also likes you, or else she wouldn’t have given you a hundred-million-dollar hotel. It seems like you marrying into the Reeves family is a sure thing.”

Christine lifted her gaze, her patience completely worn thin. “What does this have to do with hush money?”

Brigham replied, “Mrs. Elizabeth Reeves believes you are the renowned international neurologist Nancy, but she doesn’t know your other identity, that you are Christine Paul. If your identity is exposed, she will learn about the absurd affair between you and Mr. Erickson. Then, she will never let you into the Reeves family, especially with you dragging along your two sons. So, if you give me money, I guarantee nobody will know you’re my daughter. I will even help you create a death certificate for Christine, publicly declaring that she’s deceased, allowing you to assume the role of Nancy cleanly.”

Christine couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing this. She never expected her father to resort to such threats.

What was even more ridiculous was he wanted to create a death certificate for her,

Christine looked at Brigham, her eyebrows slightly raised, her eyes cold and proud. “What if I refuse?”

Brigham’s face darkened. His expression instantly changed to gloomy and angry. “If you refuse, I will go inside right now and tell Mrs. Elizabeth Reeves and Mrs. Daisy Reeves that you are Christine, along with all the absurd things you’ve done before. Let’s see if they will take back your five-star hotel. I overheard your colleague cursing you, saying your hotel might not be yours tomorrow. Don’t you want to avoid becoming a laughingstock?”

Christine never expected that when Chloe insulted her, her father would be lurking nearby.

But not only did lie not step up when his daughter was being bullied, he even used this against hér.

Indeed, he was just Blanche’s father.

Brigham saw Christine’s silence and thought she was intimidated.

So he continued with a threatening tone, “Christine, I’m just kindly reminding you. Sell the five-star hotel quickly now, and we’ll split the money. I promise I won’t expose you.”

Christine didn’t say a word. She simply stared at Brigham in disbelief.

Her icy gaze, devoid of any warmth, sent shivers down his spine. But with the money within reach, he couldn’t back down.

“Christine, listen to me. I’m your father. How could I harm you? Instead of waiting for the Reeves family finds out your true identity and take away your hotel, it’s better to sell it while it’s still yours. Having that money in your pocket would be much

better.”

Christine held her breath, and her hands clenched tightly.

Finally, she couldn’t bear it any longer.

“Don’t sugarcoat your words. I won’t sell the hotel. If you want to go in and tell Mrs. Elizabeth Reeves, go ahead. It doesn’t matter to me. I am the renowned neurologist Nancy, and this identity guarantees a worry-free life, fame, and wealth. Whether or not I marry into the Reeves family is irrelevant to me. On the other hand, you truly have no lifeline left.”

Brigham was stunned by Christine’s formidable presence and couldn’t utter a word for a while.

“Christine, I believe you wouldn’t let me go bankrupt. Can you save me?”

Christine replied coldly, “When you threatened me just now, did you consider the fact that you are my father? When you got involved with Salena, did you think of being my father? Did you consider my mother’s feelings? You knew very well that your actions would hurt her, yet you still chose to be with that woman. You have already enjoyed over a decade of good fortune. Now it’s time for you to face the consequences.”

Brigham pleaded, saying, ‘Christine, I know I was wrong in the past. Can you forgive me?”

Christine’s eyes were cold and piercing, carrying a suffocating pressure. “Forgiveness? That word feels so hypocritical. prefer the concept of ‘what goes around, comes around. I enjoy seeing karma come back to haunt people.”

At that moment, Salena rushed out and said, “It’s all my fault, Christine. Don’t treat your father like this. If you’re angry, direct it at me.”

Christine replied, “Stop pretending to be virtuous here. Did you think twice when you hurt my mother? Now it’s just bankruptcy. Why panic?”

Salena was finally willing to come out. She had been hiding for a long time.

At this point, both Brigham and Salena wore extremely unpleasant expressions. They didn’t expect Christine to be so unyielding.

She refused to lend her sons to them, and now she refused to sell the hotel.

She was determined to see her father go bankrupt!

Chapter 95

“You know where is the hospital’s entrance. I won’t see you

off”

After saying that, Christine left, leaving Brigham and Salena gnashing their teeth in hatred.

The next day, a video of the Reeves family’s little princess winning first prize in an intelligence competition went viral

online.

The comments in the video’s comment section kept pouring in.

“The Reeves family’s little princess, your IQ is too terrifying. I’m an adult, and I feel useless.”

“Little princess of the Reeves family is so beautiful, with such high intelligence. She’s the future heir of the Reeves Group.”

“I used to think that the little princess of the Reeves family had just been lucky, but now I realize that not only is she lucky. but she also has real talent.”

“So what if she has an impressively high IQ? I heard she’s mute.”

“Of course, there are haters everywhere. Are you using a 2G network? Didn’t you hear the little princess’s acceptance speech? She was graceful and had a beautiful voice. How can you still say she’s mute? You’re just a brainless hater!”

“That’s right. Let’s ignore the haters and quietly appreciate the charm of the Reeves family’s little princess. By the way, the second and third places seem to be twins. They are so handsome, like two little heartthrobs.

“Yes, those twins are too adorable. I also want a pair of sons like them. After seeing them, I’m going to force my son to study more. Not only is he not good-looking, but he’s also stupid.”

Christine almost burst out laughing when she saw the comments online. She had just seen someone attacking Lindsay, and she swiftly retaliated.

The haters couldn’t retort at all.

She never replied to comments online, but when she saw someone attacking Lindsay, she couldn’t help but directly shut down the haters until they couldn’t speak.

Then, she couldn’t help but laugh when she read the comment calling their son stupid.

Now, seeing the image of Lindsay, Oliver, and Milo standing on the award podium, her heart warmed up.

‘Three little cuties are standing on the same award podium, so pleasing to the eye.”

“Did anyone notice that the two little boys look familiar?”

“I also think they look familiar. Is it because they resemble some celebrity?”

The comment section was full of comparisons to handsome male celebrities from domestic and international scenes, and then someone suddenly made a remark.

“They look like Randall Reeves.”

The comment section immediately heated up, with many people agreeing with that comment.

Christine was startled and quickly turned off her phone. She took a sip of milk to calm herself down.

She didn’t want her two precious children to resemble Randall.

But with so many people saying it, her thought became chaotic.

She mustn’t let her two children see the online comments.

Otherwise, they would become even more convinced that Randall was their scumbag dad!
