Chapter 39
Randall Reeves must be out of his mind, thinking he could marry Magnate’s mother with 200 million dollars.
Oliver Paul looked straight into Randall’s eyes. The little boy’s gaze was as sharp as knives, and he exuded a terrifying aura around him. He swirled a wine glass indifferently.
The way he swirled the wine, and his cold, ridiculing sneer was identical to Randall Reeves.
Elizabeth and Daisy Reeves were dumbfounded by what they saw.
Christine Paul’s eyes suddenly narrowed.
It was difficult to predict the outcome when Magnate smiled.
Christine quickly changed the subject matter. “Look at us, just talking away. The children must be hungry by now.”
Elizabeth smiled and said. “That’s right, all of you only care about chitchatting. Go ahead and tuck in, little boys!”
Oliver lowered his eyes and started eating his steak. He cut the meat cleanly and neatly like a pro. It was an ordinary act of a boy cutting a steak, but it oppressed everyone.
It was as if Oliver was a god wielding a knife, and everyone else was just meat on the chopping block.
Randall’s face turned darker, amazed that Oliver’s every move was similar to his.
Christine seemed to have secretly groomed the boy to be the same as him.
“That woman is a scheming bitch!” he thought angrily.
After dinner, Christine insisted on dropping the two boys on her way home.
“Hand it over.”
Christine narrowed her eyes and said in a deep voice.
Milo hid behind Oliver awkwardly and put on a cute face. “Mommy, what do you want me to hand over?”
Christine raised her brows. Did Milo think he could bluff his way out by acting cute?
“You didn’t go to the Reeves family just to eat, did you?”
Christine knew the two little brats had something up their sleeves when they accompanied Lindsay back to the Reeves. family. They were there to take down Randall Reeves.
Milo had painstakingly concocted the infertility powder. He surely would not miss such a good opportunity. Sensing his secret was exposed, Milo took a small bottle from his pocket and pouted, “Mommy, here you go.”
Christine took the small bottle and heaved a sigh of relief.
“Milo darling, how could you think of giving it to Randall? Didn’t you tell Granny that she will have many great–grandchildren? Lindsay will be Granny’s only great–granddaughter if you give this to her father. Can you bear to see her disappointed?” Christine tried to reason with her son.
“She’ll still have me and my brother. Three kids are a handful in today’s society. Milo said matter–of–factly
Christine’s forehead twitched. Did Milo try jumping around in her minefield?
“You little brat, let me tell you one more time. Randall Reeves is not your daddy”
Milo pouted and said cutely. “If he’s not my daddy, why did Mommy disguise herself like this at the Reeves family? Mommy was afraid that Daddy would recognize you.”
Then he let out a long sigh and said resentfully, “Mommy, you love dressing up, yet you’re willing to disguise yourself as an unattractive woman just to see our scumbag dad. It’s pitiful!”
Christine finally understood why her sons‘ gaze changed from surprise to sympathy when they saw her at the Reeves family
residence.
They thought she was after Randall Reeves shamelessly.
What a joke! How could she allow such a misunderstanding between them?
Christine explained patiently, “Mommy didn’t dress like this to get close to Randall Reeves. Mommy wants to look more professional because Mommy wants to convince Granny to go for an operation. Mommy wants to gain her trust with a more mature look. As you know, Mommy went from an intern doctor to a specialized professor in a short time. Looking more mature is the best way to build trust with patients.”
“Indeed. Mommy was too beautiful. Others had doubted her ability previously as the famed neurosurgeon.

“No doubt Mommy looked the part of a specialist doctor stereotype in her disguise, Milo thought.
However, the boys knew their mommy’s long explanation was borne out of nervousness: She tried to hide something from them.
Nevertheless, Oliver and Milo clapped along for encouragement.
“Wow, Mommy, you’re so right!”
They would go along with their mother’s act to ensure she was not sad anymore. Their scumbag dad was despicable and unworthy of their mother’s deep love.
Christine’s brow furrowed.
Although the two little brats agreed with her, their eyes showed otherwise. They were flickered with sympathy.
Just then, Christine suddenly realized something was amiss when she looked at the bottle in her hand.
She frowned and opened the bottle cap, only to find that the powder in the bottle was not full. In fact, it was less than full. Less than full! Christine could no longer control herself. Her pupils dilated.
“Milo Paul, did you do it to Randall Reeves?”
Christine would call Oliver and Milo little brats when she was angry. However, they were up for serious grilling when full
names were used.
Milo smiled awkwardly when Christine found out. “I only used a little bit, Mommy.”
He gestured a little bit with his pinky finger.
His scumbag dad had the cheek to say he wanted to marry Dr. Nancy at dinner. Milo was so angry he secretly sprinkled a little powder on him.
“Just a little bit,” he said reassuringly.
Christine was crazy mad at this point. “What will happen if you use a little?”
“Mommy, don’t be nervous. One must take an entire bottle for the infertility powder to be effective. I was too close to him. and afraid of being discovered, so I only secretly scattered a little on him. At most, it will make scumbag dad not having naughty thoughts for a while,” Milo snickered.
That was only the first test. Next time, he would feed the entire bottle to his scumbag dad! Hey, scumbag dad, time to take your medicine!
Christine sighed in relief, knowing Milo only used a little powder on Randall. The only side effect was Randall would not have naughty thoughts for a while. Therefore, Milo did not sin deliberately.
“Don’t do anything rash, you hear? I’ll get Randall’s DNA sample for a paternity test to prove he’s not your father.”
“Hmm, Mommy wants to do a paternity test for them and their scumbag dad. Did she say it for her credibility’s sake?” Milo wondered.
Did she think that children nowadays were so gullible?
In any case, Milo could pretend to be gullible as long as his mother was happy.
The two boys nodded obediently and said, “Okay, Mommy, we understand.”
Although her two little brats nodded and said that they understood, Christine knew they thought otherwise. She reminded herself to hurry up and get Randall Reeves’s DNA sample for a paternity test with her sons.
“Let’s not talk about Randall Reeves anymore. You are not allowed to go to a stranger’s house in the future without my permission; do you understand?”
When Milo’saw Christine’s anger subsided, he quickly threw himself into her arms and said coyly, “Mommy, I understand. You’re afraid that bad people might kidnap us. Don’t worry; I will follow Brother everywhere and no one else.”
Oliver said apologetically, “Mommy, I’m sorry. I didn’t take good care of Milo.”
Christine sighed silently, knowing her two sons were more intelligent and resilient than average children. There was no way some stranger could kidnap them. In fact, it would be more likely the other way around. Clearly, she overthought the whole. thing. However, as a responsible mother, Christine had to warn her children that the world was dangerous.
“All right, go to bed now. You still have kindergarten tomorrow.”
