Ka and Ke

“We can feel them, Steve and Brian. We need to go,” the Ka’s told Syrhahn, as they deflected others from around them, not allowing them to enter their space. They didn’t know how they did it, nor how they knew, they just had new gifts when we were united in Spectral world, added to their tracking gift from the astral plane.

They had merged as one, exactly as they had in the astral plane. They both felt Ka’s pain as one from the bullet wound in his right arm.

“Maya has a tracker, they’re going after William, we need to get Brian,” Syrhahn told them urgently.

“Okay, but we may separate once we leave here, be careful you don’t forget us somewhere,” they both knew what it had been like to be left in space, as they both recollected Ka’s memory of it. They were one in cognition and memories as well as senses and nervous systems.

“We won’t leave you,” April’s high pitched voice called down from Syrhahn’s shoulder.

They felt Brian. They knew where he was. They hoped that by touching April, she would know too. And then they were there, staring at Brian.
