“Maya come!” Xhisara shouted as she arrived next to her, before engulfing them across the battlefield. “William went there, his tracker is dead, here’s a tracker, GO!”

Maya touched the tall, blonde haired man whom Xhisara had engulfed to next to her and felt a strange pull. She immediately engulfed them to the location she felt drawn to.

A Spectral appeared. “Keep going,” it said. So they did.

What they found on their travels across the multiverse, following Steve’s trail, Maya was not prepared for. She was prepared for war, but somehow not for the senseless massacre of all those in his way.

They left a trail of bodies as they zipped through unknown places.

Then she saw him, and he was hers.
