The Last Royal Luna

“I hid myself because I had to. You won’t and can’t kill me.” I could feel Blue wanting out to show this pup who was boss but I had to keep her pushed back. There was no reason to shed b***d just yet.

“What do you mean can’t? I am one of the strongest wolfs in my pack! I am the next alpha and we don’t allow weak leaders!” He shouted as I saw him start to shift.

“STOP!” I yelled in my Alpha voice and he stopped mid shift. “ Shift back to human and we will discuss this peacefully, NOW!” Blue pushed thru and my eyes changed colors. He did as I commanded and ended up with him glaring at me. I was just thankful he hadn’t shifted enough to lose his pants. That would totally suck.

I stepped closer to him and looked him up and down. “Do you know who I am? I will shift and you should know who I am or at least my linage. If not then your pack isn’t training or teaching you anything worth while!” He growled at the comment but I ignored him.

I stepped back and told my friends to step back from me. I took off my shirt and shorts while listening to the gamma and beta making comments. You would think a bunch of werewolves would be used to a naked girl by now but maybe they are just that big of losers. ‘Blue are you ready?’ She shouted yes and lunged forward to shift. Dang girl! I shifted into my wolf and towered above Andrew. His face showed shock and confusion before the truth hit him. He stepped back and told the others my true identity and they all bowed to me. You could tell none of them wanted to but I deserved the respect of my linage. I mink linked Andrew to talk to his dad and call a pack meeting for this evening. I will visit the pack and discuss the next steps for our take down of the vamps and bad witches. I told him if they try to capture me or harm me in any way for any reason I will take down their whole pack without a second thought. Blue growled loudly at that comment showing them her strength.

I walked back toward the school with my friends so we could get their stuff and leave for the day. There was only three classes left and none of us were interested. We all silently knew we were headed back to my house so Natalie and Parker got in their cars and waited to follow me. I am glad they were going to stick behind me but I wish I had better ways to protect humans. Melissa jumped in my car with me saying how she got a ride today from her mother. I was instantly glad about having her in my car so we could talk on the way home. I wanted her to know I had no issue with her and her coven as long as they were on the right side of things. I know the werewolves weren’t completely innocent in the wars but the reason behind it was not justified.

We turn onto my long drive way with the windows down and I can smell wolves. These smells were out of the normal so I knew they weren’t from a pack from around here. They had been there recently and I don’t think they had left. I slowed down so it was harder to hear my car.

“What’s wrong?” Melissa asked but I just held my hand up for her to be quiet. I saw her text our friends so they would know to be as quiet as possible. I did not like the way things were looking.

I pulled in behind some trees so no one would see them from the house. The smell was getting stronger as we kept driving. If someone has hurt my parent’s they better hope I never find them. The gang all followed me until I stopped behind a tree. I sniffed again and all I could see was red. My hands started to change into claws and I was growling. Blue was pissed and wanted to push to the front to rip out throats.

“Ryder! What’s wrong? Your wolfing out!” Parker whisper yelled at me. He had taken a defensive stance not knowing what was out there but would do his best to protect us. I admired his loyalty.

“Wolves from a pack that isn’t from around here. I also smell vampires! How could wolves and vampires work together? I will kill the vampires first and then ask the wolves what they hell they were thinking. But first we need to find my parents.” I looked at them and I knew I needed to keep them safe. “I need you three to go back to the cars and get out of here. I can’t protect all of you in a fight if they have my parents. I need to know some of my loved ones are safe from all this crap.”

Melissa laughed at me before speaking. “I am not going anywhere. I am a fully trained witch and I will stand by your side taking out the enemy. “ She stared at me with her hands on her h**s. I knew I couldn’t change her mind.

“Parker? Natalie? Please just go…”

“No way in hell am I leaving my besties to head into a fight. You can suck it girlfriend. Give me weapon so I can kick some a*s for all this shit.” Natalie pinched my arm before standing beside Melissa. Damnit.

“What she said. I may not be a supernatural but I am pretty super in many aspects in my life!” Parker winked at me while joining them. Looks like it is three against one so I need to help them even the odds. I know Parker knows how to shoot so that is a plus.

“Ok follow me back to the car.” I open the trunk and then push a button in the corner. The bottom of the trunk unlocks so I can push it up. Underneath is an assortment of weapons that can harm or kill most supernatural’s. I knew I needed to be prepared since I was turning 18.

“Holy s**t Ryder! I want handguns and a knife to hide!” Parker squealed. He actually got so high pitched it hurt my dog ears. ‘Sorry Blue!” She just shook her head before glaring at Parker.

“Calm down. “I give him a holster to hold the guns and show him the knife I wanted him to put in his boot. I told him not to let it cut him since it was poisoned. I wasn’t a poison to hurt anyone human, but it could have nasty side effects. I gave three knifes to Natalie and explained the poison aspect to her as well. Once all of us were ready I shut the trunk and hugged all of them.

“We are hoping this is all a misunderstanding so be careful. I don’t want bloodshed unless we have to.” They all nod at me so we crouched and started walking slowly to the bushed right beside the house. I just needed to hear my parents or at least see them to get the reassurance of it all.

We split up to sneak into position with two of us by the front door and two by the back. Natalie was with me so it made the teams have a fighting chance. I took a big breath and knocked on the door. I was not prepared to see who was behind the door. How did this Alpha take over two packs? How ruthless was he and want did he want?
