The Last Royal Luna

I got in my car with the thoughts of going to school but I never even started my car. My thoughts were clouded over with all the questions, hurt feelings, anger, and something I don’t normally feel which is fear. Fear of the unknown and my family’s future even if they are not family by b***d and they lied to me all this time. Would I still save them? Yes, without a doubt in my mind. Would I give them crap about it later? Yes, because we are family and that is what we do. Am I still upset I was lied to and am I still more afraid of my situation than before? For sure but I couldn’t let that show right now. I know that my real parents are dead and they trusted these two to keep me safe. The ones that raised me are the parents that I know that love me for me and I love them for them. I know they did what they had to do and even though I felt betrayed because they had lied to me, I knew that they did it in my best interest. Now I knew what I had to do in order to keep them safe was keep up this lie and to never let anyone know anything else.

I took a deep breath and drove to school. It was third period right now, so I parked and waited till I heard the bell for class to end. I gave myself a pep talk and fixed my make up. I am one hundred percent sure there are werewolves at this school so today will be interesting. I shouldn’t be worried because I am even above their alpha so no comments can be used on me and I can command them to stop if they want to start anything. I just have not used my alpha voice before. ‘Blue you will know when to use it right?’ I envisioned her nodding while she pranced around and was keeping herself at high alert. I could not tell I it was because there was danger or if she was just as nervous as I was. I was hoping for the second one.

Walking up to the school was a breeze but as soon as I opened the door all the different scents hit my nose. I rushed to my lockers knowing my friends would be meeting me there and they would be waiting to see what happened. I could smell the different smells of The Supernatural beings in my school and I couldn’t believe that I had missed all these Clues. The wolves could smell me as well so I was getting several confused looks and some looks of anger. I knew that the alpha would scent me out soon enough and come at me as though I was a rogue on his territory. I just had to keep my head down low until that happened. I opened my locker and my friends were on me like white on rice making sure I was ok. when I walked up to my friends I realized and one of my friends was a witch and even though I shared my secret they didn’t. I could see her sweating bullets and so I smiled and shook my head up and down so that she knew I knew what she was and I was okay with it. Maybe that is why Melissa has had a run in with a wolf before since we are suppose to hate each other. I also need to ask her how she goes to school with werewolves if she is a witch and she does not hide her scent. Normally she would be dead or in a wolf prison by now alongside her family.

“Hey! how is everything so far for you?” Parker asked me as he grabbed my bag for me. I opened it to switch out my hooks and I gave him a small smile.

” A lot has happened in just a few hours. How bout we do dinner at my place to talk about it?” I directed that question at all my friends but before they could answer I smelled an Alpha in waiting, his chosen Beta, and Gamma so i turned around to face them. My jaw dropped when I saw it was the three guys who liked to make my life hell.

“Ryder I think we figured out who the future Alpha is and he looks pissed.” Parker whispered shouted as he grabbed my arm. I looked until I saw Andrew with Richard and Blake behind him.

“s**t. I need to get out of here before they wolf out in the school. Lets walk to the football field and they will follow so we can all have a talk.” I pulled Parker with me while the girls followed. Parker looked at me and nodded letting me know he had my back and would also make sure my parents got a phone call if things got out of hand. I made sure to make out who was the future Alpha which was Andrew, Blake is the future Beta, and Richard is the future gamma. Of course, some of the most important people of the pack were the jerk faces of my life and the attention hungry guys of the school.

They followed us to the football field like I knew they would. Andrew stepped right up to me and sniffed me before he growled a warning growl hoping I would be scared and spill all my secrets. I smiled at him.

“Andrew step back so we can have this chat like the adults we are. “ He looked at me in surprise and took a few steps back to being right in the middle of his minions.

“What? How? Actually, first how did you cover your scent all these years? Why shouldn’t I kill you right now in front of your friends as a warning to them against lying and being deceitful?” He shouted as he straightened his back and his eyes started to turn black letting me know his wolf wanted out and wanted my b***d.
