The Last Royal Luna

(Book 3) – Chapter 46

The cells weren’t in the best shape but worked well enough to hold the prisoners. There were a few to a cell since it only had a few in the small, underground space. There were two guards at each cell, two guards at the front and back door, and even more posted around the whole building. My mates sure knew how to go overboard, but this time I was all for it.

“Who first?” Blake asked, holding the cell keys up.

I looked between the cells, recognizing some of the guards that we had trusted with our families, Brody, and two from Brody’s pack. The last few I had no idea who they were, but they were a mix between witches and vampires. They looked like they hadn’t had a decent place to sleep or something to eat for longer than we had them in the cells. I didn’t feel bad about it either.

“Let’s start with splitting up the ones who were supposed to keep our pack and our families safe before going at them.” I stated as Blue pushed forward causing the ones in the cells to step away from the bars. “I think causing some pain might make us feel a bit better…”

We shoved everyone into one cell minus the three from our home pack. We put them one per cell and broke into groups. I took Edgar and Andrew with me while Koda paired up with Knox and Asher paired with Kane. I sent Blake to see his father since he was leaving within the next few days and I know if my parents were injured id be with them right now.

“Ok, so this is how its going to go,” I said once the prisoner was tied down to a chair with silver chains. “For every question you answer with a lie ill be adding more silver or giving you a drink of wolfsbane. For every truth you tell I will only allow Blue to hurt you at the end instead of death. Understand?”

‘You are going to allow them to live if they tell the truth after everything they did? Are you freaking kidding me, Ryder?’ Blue hissed at me.

I just giggled in return and focused back on who was in front of me. His name was Warren and he had been with the pack since birth. His parents were big followers of Oliver, but I don’t know how that got away from us before now. Julian knew who he was when we asked him when we were moving everyone to the different cells.

He had thought we knew and had passed over him as being a safety concern, so he never mentioned anything. The other two, Jensen and Paul, were transferred from other packs so he had no idea on how they got through or if they were approached by Warren. I made sure to tell everyone I would find out. Blue was smiling, which was never a good thing when it came to how violent she was going to be.

“First question,” I started standing in front of Warren, “How did you get passed us when we were finding out who supported Oliver?”

“I never supported him.” He pleaded with us. “I didn’t do anything wrong. I was only on the enemies’ side because they threatened my family. You have to believe me.”

I listened to his heartbeat, and it never changed. One truth so far but the end sentence had his heart rate speeding up so he also lied. I nodded at Edgar. He pulled on gloves and grabbed a silver knife slicing Warrens arm. He hissed at the pain and struggled as much as he was able to.

“I told the truth!” He yelled spewing spit everywhere.

“You told one truth and one lie. Next time don’t add on your bullshit victim stories and you might make it out with less pain.” I said laughing, as his face went from sorrow-filled to cocky and arrogant. The real Warren was here to play.

He started laughing quietly at first but louder and louder as he went. “You all know nothing. I was never a follower of the s**t show Alpha but a true follower of the real King and Queen. You won’t ever win and even if I die today, I know you will be meeting me in hell.”

Andrew lost it and struck him in the face breaking his nose. He went to throw another punch but Edgar grabbed his arm. He pulled him back and told him to wait till the end. We needed him to talk and he wouldn’t be able to do that with a broken jaw. I wasn’t upset. If the whimpers coming from the next cell over were any indication the hit also scared them. Maybe they will tell us how they joined in with all of this.

“Next question,” I said grabbing a bottle of wolfsbane from the same table the knife was on. “Who ordered the k********g of my twins and my friend’s little girl?”

‘That isn’t important right now. We need to know where everyone is and how many of them are there so we can have enough allies with us when we attack.’ Edgar scolded me in our mind link. I knew he was right but I sure as hell wasn’t going to tell him that.

‘I have to know. I want to know who ordered a k********g of children. I want to know who touched my babies so I can rip their freaking hands off.’ I growled back, flashing my eyes to purple at him.

He turned his neck in submission but was pissed about it. I didn’t care. I would get all the information we needed and some that I wanted to fuel my revenge. They would just have to deal with it.

“Now that the lovers tiff is over, I can tell you a cute little story.” Warren snorted and laughed.

Blue shoved forward and within seconds her claws were in his chest. “I don’t like cute. Act cute again and ill rip out your intestines.”

“You got it, boss.” He replied as his breathing became labored.

“Awe, puppy is learning who is the correct master.” Blue pulled our claws out and took a step back. “Try again.”

He went into a detailed story of the Queen deciding she would just take my powers from my kids and keep it in her family. She would wait till my son is of age and mate with him. I almost threw up at this point in the story.

She would have her mate take my daughter as her mate. I did throw up here. The plan was put in motion by Natalie with the promise of being turned into a vampire and granted permission to kill me. Brody was there when the agreement was made so he was an extra dead mean. To top it all off the queen was all for it and to top it off her daughters would be taking my mates.

“You spoke the truth.” I stated shaking the bottle of wolfsbane at him. “Now tell me the location of my kids.”

“No can do.” He shrugged his shoulders. “I know I am a dead man regardless of what I say and I am done answering your stupid questions. You should have asked if there was more of us.”

I smiled at him, put the bottle above his head, and gave a wink. “While we have been talking to you I had a spell put on you. Anyone you spent any time with, talked to, or even thought about is on a list that we are going through now. I didn’t need to ask that question.”

I tipped the bottle over and drained it over him. I watched him burn and cry out in pain. I linked the guys to see if they were done and what they got. It was the same as me except they joined right before k********g the kids. It didn’t take much to push them over the edge since they hated how I gave the Alpha position to a female.

I walked behind Warren and broke his neck. Time to move on to the next batch. I told Koda and Edgar they could do the others. I just wanted a few shots at Brody after he tells us everything he knows. I knew what the others were going to tell us was the same as what we already knew and I could feel Blue turning toward b***d l**t. I needed her to be more focused on killing the leaders, not the followers. I went outside and got a few minutes to think on what comes next.
