The Hybrid Rogue

Chapter The First

It was complete darkness. I blinked and then a woman in an older handmade white nightgown and bonnet on her head appeared infront if me. She smiled, "Hello, Azula, my child. I am your ancestor, Anca. The first witch. It is an honor to meet you."

"Hel-hello." I stagger to state with wide eyes.

"Margo has brought you to me to explain your meaning. Well, there is a prophecy that I, myself witnessed. It is of you.many generations later. You are this prophecy, it is yet to come. For what is inside the prophecy, you must find it yourself. It will be inside my diary. No, not the family book, but my personal diary. I made sure to place it into a trunk with a protection and locking spell only you could retrieve and buried it under the family home. The location of that, at the least, is held inside the family book." She paused and was taking me in with her eyes. "I can at least tell you, you are a new breed of supernatural. You are a first. Your children and the generations after will also take your powers with them. Your eldest though, he will be the weakest. The goddess of the moon has made her decision about you since the beginning. Everything that has happened is supposed to and it will lead you to the prophecy. Now, goodbye, Azula, The First."

She disappeared and blackness took its place. In a moment everything faded back into existence. Margo was infront of me again and confused.

"What happened?" She asked confused. "That spell was only to allow us to know your strength. Then everything went black and mute until you came back."

"Anca told me some knowledgeable things. I need to know, her home. Where was it located?" I want to just get started to get everything over with and live in peace.

Margo heads over to the desk again with me following and opens the book to the first page. A picture of a small cabin like home in black and white was looking at us. "This must be what you are wondering. There is no address listed inside of the book for Anca seeing as they didn't have addresses then."

I reach over and touch the picture. My instincts tell me to take the photo off the page, but it seems to be one with the page. I run my fingers across the edges of it and study it. Somehow words appeared under it.

Romania inceputul (Romania the Beginning)

"Romania. Well, that makes sense. We will all have to look to see where this house is or was. For now, I must find Ryanne and Colson. I think we need to figure some things out." I say smiling.

"Yes, follow me." She relies with a smile as well.

After finding the men and a sleeping Koray, who had a messy chocolate covered everything, we sat in silence and enjoyed each others company for a little. Until I broke the silence.

"He isn't meant to be mine. I still feel that. I am to be his mother, but he isn't mine. Ryanne, please forgive me if you don't agree, but I think Colson and Liam should raise him. I want to still be close by this time and I trust them. He has Alpha blood in him and is a hybrid as well. He can be considered an heir for Colson." I say looking between them.

"I actually agree. We will have our own children when the time is right. You shouldn't wake up every morning with any regrets from a past that was forced on you. Colson and Liam are the best option in my eyes as well. I wouldn't agree for anyone else though. He will be an Alpha one day and a well dressed one at that!" Ry says, ending with a smile and a slap on the shoulder to Colson.

"Liam and I were just talking about kids the other night. Adopting was one thing we talked about. They couldn't be heirs, but Koray here could be. So that, actually, brings a light for the Crimson. I thought it may end with me and be combined with the Amethyst through you and any you would have. This actually means a lot. We do need to discuss Theo and his punishment still. I spoke with Sam and with her being pregnant, I can't send him away just like that or kill him. It's all very difficult. I don't want her or the pups to suffer for his actions. I don't want him around Koray though either. With him being a hybrid, he may try to use him somehow someday. You will need to be in his life though, prep him for what he will need to know." Colson's worries were right.

"I don't think he is more than just vampire and wolf at least. I can't feel any of the magic in him. If the witch side was in him, I would feel a pull to him. There is nothing. He will be a hand full, but I think whatever damage Henry may have started can be changed now." I look at my brother. "I still have duties to the Crimson Pack as your third. I may be about to be Luna, but we all know that title will not be lost as well, so I have to make a good amount of appearances. But, I will need to be out of the country for a little bit soon."

"What do you mean?" Ryanne asks.

"I have some family business to attend to in Romania. I plan for you to join if you can spare the time. I am not sure where in Romania, yet." I proceed with telling them what I could, leaving out the part of me being a first and my children and the prophecy. The guys took the information and looked at the picture I took of the house.

"It is a stretch, but I think we can all pitch in with researching for you. Which reminds me, the files we took from Henry, I am having them brought to my pack house in California. Jaxon is going to start going through them to see what may be of significance if anything." Ryanne spoke.

We hadn't discussed what would happen after the fight was over. Going with him, that seems logical. We may still get some bits of what was the clan members pass through, but now there is less of a threat. In the morning, we will head back.
