The Hybrid Rogue

It's been a day since Azula left. This has worked well. We have trained harder in the day. I slept in her room a lot and yes I wear one of her oversized hoodies that actually fits me quite well. The scent is all I need to help my wolf to stay calm enough and not go running after her yet.

"So, it's been a day. I'm going and finding her. I keep feeling like she needs to talk to me too. So, you follow behind with Jaxon and the warriors you choose to bring with. I plan to see what is going on first. Give about an hour before following. If you feel like the trail is lost, call or text." I say to Colson and Jax as I start walking out the door. They agree and I take off.

I know something feels off. Not sure if it's the mate bond or if something is actually off. Not like danger type, but, just off. I follow the mate bond which is like a rubber band that was stretched so far. I hit my cousin's territory. I know he has clans that share some of his lands. I stop to take out my phone.

"Hey, Ry, what's up?" My cousin Alpha Noah answers after one ring.

"My mate is somewhere in your territory. She is with the Nether descendants clan. Her grandfather, Henry took her. I need to know what you know." Probably the smartest move.

"Not the clan you want to fuck with. I stay away from them. They are so fucked up. They," he pauses with a huge sigh," keep slaves of all supernatural and some humans. It's called Nether plantation. It isn't easy to find but, with your mate being there I am sure you can find it. It is near East Carroll county at the Mississippi boarder somewhere. Like I said, I keep my distance and my people do too."

"Thanks. I may need some help. I am going to update Jax and he probably will call you. I am almost to Louisiana now." I say before we hang up and I hit the button to call Jax. I inform him of everything Noah told me and told him to call Noah and speak between the three of them of what they think is the best way to do things.

I get into East Carroll around dawn. Perfect timing. I'm starting to feel more at peace with things and decide to try to mind link Az.

'Az, I'm nearby finally.'

It takes a moment but she replies with, 'There's a complication. We need to do something here and I'm bringing someone with me. I need to leave to meet everyone before a fight starts then return here when the fight starts.'

'Whatever you need, but that might be hard. My cousin, Noah, is the Alpha here at least and he says this clan is strong and crazy. So we need to group up and figure things out.' I don't question her at all. She has my trust.

'It's my son. He has my son here.'

'But, Liam said he passed away at birth.'

'That's what I told him. The ladies, Rashelle and Caroline, took him for me. In the end, apparently they worked for Henry and gave him my baby. I don't know what to do, but I can't leave him and obviously Henry needs to be taken out. He has spilled some lies thinking it would make me stay.' She is being urgent.

'Like I said, whatever you need. We will figure it all out. What time of day works best for you and him to sneak out? Could you do it now?' If she can get him to me and the others meet up while everyone sleeps in the daylight, we can be ending this before night falls.

'I think I can. I will go get a bag ready for him now. I told him we are going on an adventure. He doesn't know what's all going on. He is only 4 and loves Henry. We have to be careful with this.' I hope this works. We end the link and I grab my phone again. This time, I call Colson.

"Change of plans a little. I need all of you to get here but maybe just you and Jax approach for now. She's meeting here with someone that needs to get out of the way first." I don't know if she wants me to tell them yet and Colson agrees.

In about forty minutes they get to me along with some of Noah's warriors. We have three armies against one plantation of a clan. All to take out one vamp. We will win this. Colson, Noah, and Jax follow me about a mile away from the mass of fighters. Now, we wait for her.
