Chapter Beautiful Boy
After the mind link, I snuck out of my room to the one next door. I had grabbed a little backpack he helped pack earlier, double checking to add some clothes as well other than just toys. He looked so peaceful sleeping. It hurts that I had put him into all of this, but I will get him out. I will decide what to do later. He looks like a tiny version of Theo even more so in his sleep. I want to love him, but with everything it is also hard.
"Hey, Koray, Baby, it's time for our adventure." I whisper to him. He fights his eyes wanting to sleep but gets up anyways.
"Mommy, will Grandpapa miss us? I'm scared." He says with tears in his eyes.
"Grandpapa would want you to come with me. I told you, this is a surprise. If you put on your backpack, I will carry you on my back and we will be meeting some of Mommy's friends." I encourage him and he grabs his bag and climbs on my back. He stays quiet as I sneak him out his room, down the stairs and I use the back door the workers use to go without notice.
I use my senses to get away fast using my vamp speed and to feel where Ry was. It takes a bit, but I finally smell that amazing scent. It's like old spice meets heaven. I know Ryanne is near by. I keep running for a bit more and the stop. Koray is asleep and I don't want to startle him with strangers if they don't notice it.
'Its amazing to see you! I'm glad you are okay.' Ryanne and the guys appear. Mind linking is a great idea not to wake this little one. Colson, though, sees the little one on my back and starts looking between me and him.
"You want to explain?" He does an angry whisper and a gesture towards the boy.
"Hey, Koray. We are here, want to meet some friends of Mommy's?" I say to my baby as he starts to wake up.
"So, this is your son. I'm an uncle!" Dear lord, Colson goes from confused to crazy excited too fast.
"Koray, this is your Uncle Colson. I think you will really like him." Then I turn to Ryanne, "this is my mate, Ryanne."
"Hi, Koray. It is nice to meet you." Ry has his hand out to shake Koray's who takes it."This is my cousin, Noah and my best friend, Jaxon. So, you want to go on an adventure with all of us right!"
"Yes! This is going to be fun!" The tiny boy jumps up and down.
"Mommy has some things to do but I think Uncle Colson wouldn't mind seeing the toys you brought with for a little and then Mommy will meet you guys in a little, okay." I hope Colson doesn't mind missing this fight, but he is the only one I trust with him that I would choose not to put at risk other than Ryanne. Ry would probably get mad if he got stuck for a few hours with a toddler who has so much energy, you would need an advil. Colson could be the closest to keep up.
They walk away and I start telling the other three what is going on there. Noah looks pissed when he hears about the wolves in slavery.
"We have had so many wolves disappearing lately. Those must be them. We need to free them all. Let them get home." He says looking at all of us.
"We will. Let's aim for the leader first and then worry about them. Let's mind link our warriors and get them over here." Ryanne replies.
We all mind link the warriors. I had to do the ones for Crimson. They arrive in a few minutes. This army is huge. These guys came to win, that's for sure. I notice there is a beautiful witch with Noah's.
"This is my Luna, Margo. She is a witch, no hybrid. She is a very powerful New Orleans witch. I never fight without her." Noah introduces her to the pack.
"You look just like my aunt Tempesta. She was just as beautiful as you. I can feel your powers, you have the family gift. I hope I can train you after all this is over." Wait, my mother was her aunt. She's my cousin. I hug her.
"Um ladies, war?" Jaxon speaks up with some interrupting coughs.
Right, kill vampires. Okay. I see Noah's warriors also have wooden stakes. They came prepared. Our warriors have some as well since meeting up I am guessing since I see them as well. This should go well.
"Okay, who has paper and pencil. I spent enough time with Pete, I'm sure I can draw up plans of attack." I say as I'm handed paper and my writing stencil.
About ten minutes later, its messy, but I have a layout of all of the plantation that I can remember. I start going over the best points of entry and how to surround it all. I describe how the slaves look so no one kills them in attempt to get through. We have a plan, now to get this down before sun starts to set.
