The next few days, Meredith's life was very peaceful and too calm that even she couldn't believe it would be.

When it rained, someone came and gave her an umbrella. When she couldn't get a taxi, someone came and gave her a ride.

Meredith smiled when she thought of this. Maybe this was her new beginning, and her new life was about to start here.

Just as she was thinking, a familiar Rolls-Royce stopped not far away.

Derek got out of the car and walked towards the hospital. Meredith saw the tall and straight figure getting closer and closer, and her heart beat faster unconsciously.
