The Damned Princess

I started to throw a few punches at him which he blocked easily when I saw him lowering his guard, I landed a right overhand punch on him. My punch dis-balanced him, I was going for a right uppercut but he took a step back and landed a left hook on me.

I stumbled but regained balance quickly, he let his guard down because I know he doesn’t want to hit me but I didn’t care at that moment. I was furious, he can’t use my mate’s name like that. I took the opportunity and kicked him hard in his gut and his back hit the ground.

I smirked at him and gave him a chance to get back instance. He got up quickly we both started fighting again, threw multiple punches at each other, some were blocked some landed. He’s very strong but I’m fast.

We have been training together for ages and know each other’s style of fighting like the back of our hands, which makes it difficult for both of us to win. This time I was furious and I wanted him to know that when it comes to my mate, I’ll blow the world apart but won’t let anything happen to him.

I threw a punch at him, I wanted him to block it and when he did, I threw a left-hand hook straight to his ribs with all the force left in me. I heard the sound of ribs cracking and he fell on the floor. “Do you still doubt my ability to protect my mate” I growled at him. He smirked at me “you broke the rule Enna”.

“Dammit”, I said, I was so furious I forgot about Becky and her stupid rule. Initially, when Liam and Becky were mated, she didn’t like the idea of us siblings breaking each other’s bones during practices even though we heal like before we blink our eyes but she didn’t like it. So, she made a rule that whenever we practice, if anyone of us breaks any bone of the other person, we’ll have to take full care of the injured one.

I looked around Becky wasn’t there; she must have gone to watch T.V. or something because she always sneaks out. I said in a hushed tone “Li you know I didn’t do any serious damage; you don’t have to tell her”.

That bastard brother of mine smirked at me and started screaming like I broke his spine or something. “Liam stop being so dramatic or I’ll kill you”, I said glaring at him. He was just screaming and Becky came out running and panicked a little when she saw him on the ground screaming in pain.

“What happened Li, are you hurt baby”, she asked him, poor thing was so worried for my asshole brother. “Becks baby I think Enna broke my ribs” he cried out. Becky looked at me to confirm, I moved my gaze to my feet, “Enna did you do it” Becky asked.

“It’s not as bad as he’s making it sound” I mumbled. I looked at her and smiled sheepishly, “you both know the rules,” I stopped her and said, “but he said that I was weak and couldn’t protect my mate, do you still think that I did wrong”. Her mouth fell open and she turned towards Liam “did you say that to her”?

He nodded and laughed sheepishly and said “I was just trying to train her better baby”. “You know what, Enna you did the right thing and if he ever says anything like that to you again tell me, I’ll break his bones myself”, she said to me “and you don’t have to do anything for Liam, he brought it to himself” she added and left. “Becky this is so unfair, when I mistakenly broke her hand you made me do all her work for one whole week” Liam cried out. Becky ignored him and went inside and I laughed at him.

“Never mess with me you man child” I smirked at him. “Yeah whatever, will you help me get up now” he huffed. I helped him but jabbed my elbow in his ribs slightly, he hissed in pain and glared at me. I said very innocently “oops, sorry”. We both went to our room to clean ourselves up.

I looked at myself in the mirror, there was dried blood on my face from the wounds that have already healed and a slight cut on my left cheek. I took a shower, changed into a fresh set of clothes, and went downstairs. Liam was sitting on the dining table, with an arm sling on.

“So, are we going for a run?” I asked. Liam grumbled, “how will I run with this on”. I replied, “oh sorry I forgot brother”. Becky laughed which annoyed Liam even more and I just smirked at him.

When we all started eating, Becky said “Enna, V called and asked us to come for a party tomorrow, you want to go?” “If you both want to, then we can go,” I said trying to be cool. Becky smirked at me, oh goddess V must have told her about Jayson going to that party, I awkwardly smiled at her.

She said. “okay then we’re going because we need to go out and have some fun”. “But I can’t go, I’m injured” Liam whined. “Shut up Li”, we both said simultaneously. “You’ll heal enough by tomorrow and you know the presence of your mate quickens the healing process even more” I added. “I don’t like you both” he groaned.

Becky and I high-fived each other. We finalized plans with V and decided that we’ll go out tomorrow, starting with breakfast in some cafe, then we can go shopping and Becky can get everything done she wanted to. Liam said that he won’t join us but will go to the party.

As planned, we picked V up from her place around ten. We went to a cafe for breakfast. It was a small place but kind of cute and the smell of coffee filled my lungs the moment I stepped in.

We sat on a corner table after ordering breakfast and coffee. “Okay so, are we going shopping first or after getting our hair and nails done”, V asked. “I think we should go shopping first and then other things”, Becky said and I agreed. Our food arrived and we all began to eat.

“Becks you have a great dressing sense, why do you let Enna wear these same types of boring tees and denim every day,” V asked. Becky sighed “don’t even ask how many times I’ve begged her to buy something nice, she never listens”. “Hey I’m right here and there’s nothing wrong with my clothes” I huffed.

“Shut up Enna, we’re buying you a whole lot of clothes today and you don’t get to choose any of them because you aren’t going to a party as this” V said. I whined “but why I’ve cool clothes”.

Becky said “well it’s your choice, we just thought you might want to look the best when Jayson sees you” and V smirked. My cheeks heated up, I said being as nonchalant as I could be “I don’t care, I already told you guys I’m only going because you guys want me to”. They both started laughing at me, I pouted at them and said “what”.

“By the way Enna, your guy, damn he’s hot and he’s not even those douche boy kinds he just keeps giving you longing looks and ignores all the other girls that hover around him,” V said dreamily and Becky agreed with her. “He’s not my guy”, I said, but the thought of him being mine had me feeling butterflies in my stomach.

“Not for long Enna, after tonight he’ll be on his knees begging to be yours”, V said and winked at me. I just blushed and they both laughed at me, I was so embarrassed for blushing so much like a little girl. After we were finished, we left for the mall. It was an hour's drive because there were no good malls nearby.

We have been to five shops by now and everything I picked for myself so far, they both rejected it, hopefully, we’ll find something good in this one because I’m already getting tired. This one was so huge and as far as I could see it was filled with really beautiful dresses and tops and tees, I was happy that I can get something of my choice here as well.

We started looking around, V brought a dress to us and said “OMG look how beautiful”, “it’s sexy, what do you think Enna” Becky said. “It’s beautiful but not for me, I’m not comfortable with showing this much of cleavage”, I said and they both rolled their eyes at me and said “whatever” at the same time.

After a few more dresses that would barely cover anything, Becky found a beautiful black dress, which was like a lace-mesh skirt and top. I liked this one so they both pushed me inside the changing room to try it on. When I finally managed to get inside it, I looked at myself in the mirror, the dress was really beautiful.

It was perfectly showing the curves I didn’t know I had. The top had full sleeves; the neck was also not deep but it was lacy on the shoulder part. The same was the skirt, the bottom part of it was lace. I was glad Becky chose this because it will hide the huge tattoo I have on my back.

All of the lycans and werewolves have a tattoo representing their pack. We’ve one representing our pack. Lycans don’t have huge packs, so this one represents just our family. I got it tattooed on my back between the shoulder blades.

Liam has it on his chest and shoulder on the right side and after Becky was mated with Liam, she was also a part of our pack so she had to get one too, she got it done on her pelvic and hip area. She played it smart because she can wear almost anything and it won’t show, but mine can be easily seen so I always try to wear clothes that keep it covered.

The dress was beautiful but it was too short, the skirt ended mid-thigh and I don’t usually wear such clothes. I finally went out to show it to both of them, V looked at me with wide eyes and said “Sienna Amore Castello, you look so fucking beautiful, it looks like the dress was made for you”. “Who told you my middle name” I shouted.

“Enna that’s all you got from my compliment” she questioned. Before I could complain, Becky said excitedly “V’s right Enna, you look really beautiful, I can’t wait to see Jayson drooling all over you”. I laughed at her, and asked, “but isn’t it too short for a house party”. “Shut up”, they both said at the same time. I pouted at them and went back inside to change into my clothes.

V bought a black mid-thigh skirt that fit her like a glove and a grey glittery top. And Becky also got a black mini dress that was fitted from the top and had a flowy skirt-like bottom. They both looked gorgeous and I was sure all the guys will be drooling on them instead.

We also bought a lot of other stuff, most of which was for me because they think my clothes are not good enough, so we bought a lot of shorts, skirts, and dresses for me. We were finally done after so long and I was starving because it was past lunchtime already.
