The Damned Princess

When we were back, Liam was in the living area watching T.V., when he saw us, he made a puppy face and said “you guy took so long, I was so bored”. Becky kissed him, telling him how much she missed him today.

V was staring at them in awe “you guys are so cute, I want a relationship like this too, Enna”. “Aww come on baby, you come and help me put all this new stuff in my closet”, I said to her and dragged her upstairs giving Liam and Becky some private time.

The party was starting at eight, so we all started getting ready at around an hour before. V and I were getting ready in my room. I changed into my dress and she did my hair and makeup. I told her not to do anything extra, so she kept my makeup minimal and I chose a nude lipstick as it was going perfect with my look.

We left my hair open in loose curls and I was done. She also kept her look minimal but damn she was looking hot. I wore my stilettos while V wore my high heeled boots, they were looking perfect with her outfit.

We went downstairs, Becky and Li were also ready. “Becky you look so amazing”, I said and V agreed with me. She said that we both were looking hot as well. Liam complained, “why the hell are you three wearing such short dresses”.

“Really brother, this is 2018, not 1918 so shut up”, I told him. “Don’t even get me started” Becky added. V laughed at him and said, “don’t worry Liam you also look okay; you don’t have to be jealous”. We all laughed at him and he just huffed like a child and mumbled “I don’t approve of such short dresses; next time keep it in mind”. We dragged him out and left for the party.

We were a little late, when we were there the music was blasting from the house and I could smell booze from quite a distance only. Everything was so loud inside, but the buzz was really nice and I could see everybody was enjoying themselves.

There was a little bar like set up in one corner, the center of the room was cleared as the dancing floor and a few people were already there. There was a setup for DJ in another corner and there was a door to the backyard, there were people everywhere in this house. I didn’t sense him yet because of the huge crowd and the smell of alcohol was too strong.

As we were moving a few heads turned in our direction and guys were checking us out. Liam was glaring at them to make it sure that nobody comes close to his family, if these guys were like us and they could feel the energy radiating off of him, they’d be bowing down to us by now.

“Brother don’t go all alpha male here, relax and try to enjoy yourself”, I told him. Becky whispered something in his ear probably telling the same. V took us to the bar right away, three of us picked a bottle of beer each and Becky took some soft drink because she doesn’t like the taste of it.

V excused herself and said, “I’ll be back, wait here guys”. We nodded at her, after she was out of sight Becky said “why do you guys drink this, alcohol won’t work on us anyway”. “Eh, it’s not that bad plus it’s a lot better than to drink juice in a party Becks” Liam replied and we laughed at her.

“Remember when we gave Becky something from our father’s collection”, I told Liam, he laughed and said, “yeah she puked for like two days straight”. “Oh, shut up, you never told me that it was alcohol specially made for us supernatural” Becky replied. We were laughing remembering the old times when V came back with a guy.

“Guys, meet Rayn, he’s the host and a friend of mine”, V said. She introduced all of us to him, “this is the first time I’ve seen you guys in a party, are you enjoying it” Ryan asked. Liam said rudely “yeah we don’t go to parties”, “but we’re having a good time” I added and smiled at him. I glared at my brother and mouthed behave.

“Great, come with me I’ll introduce to some other friends of mine”, Rayn said. I looked at Liam, I knew he didn’t want to go. V grabbed my hand and said, “come on Enna, you need to meet new people, Liam Becks you want to come”. Becky replied, “it’s okay you two go and enjoy, we’ll join you guys later”. I nodded at her and V took me outside.

The backyard was huge and there was a swimming pool here, a few people were out here. I suddenly got goosebumps, maybe because it was colder outside. As we got closer to them, the sweet smell of my mate hit me, it was so intoxicating, it works better than any alcohol on me.

He was there sitting with his friends, a bottle of beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other, damn he looks so hot. There was a girl next to him trying so hard to get his attention, it was so infuriating to see them always sticking to him like leeches.

I wanted to rip her away from him but what kept me from attacking her was my mate showing zero interest in her. It looked like he was pretending that she wasn’t there only which made me smirk.

Rayn called out to them “hey guys, meet these beautiful ladies” and he introduced us to them. All the guys were checking us out which certainly annoyed the girls sitting over there. Jayson was staring at me, he looked at me from head to toe which made me blush.

Rayn told us their names, he pointed to Jayson and said, “Sienna this is Jayson Hunter, my cousin”. Jayson replied “I know her Rayn, she’s in one of my classes” without taking his eyes off me. “Great then you introduce the girls to the rest of them, I got to go find my girl”, Rayn said and left. V knew most of them, so she was already chatting.

One guy named Dylan, took my hand and kissed it and said “I’m blinded by your beauty, I’m going to need your name and number for insurance purposes” and winked at me. I laughed “that was quite pathetic”. He smirked, “well you’re so beautiful you made me forget all my good pick-up lines”. I rolled my eyes at this one and replied “you’re just too drunk”.

He answered “I’m not drunk baby, I’m intoxicated by you” making me laugh. Jayson cleared his throat and said, “would you stop being so pathetic Dylan”. Dylan whined “dude you’re no fun”, I could see jealousy and anger in his eyes, even if one doesn’t know about the concept of mates, the bond could be so strong that even before marking we get overprotective of each other.

Jayson gestured me to sit next to him. How would I control myself being so near him what if I lose control; all these thoughts were rushing through my head when suddenly Dylan pulled my hand and made me sit next to him. I was glad, but when I looked at Jayson, there were so many emotions in his eyes.

He looked hurt and was jealous, I was not happy either but I had no choice. Someone offered me a glass of drink because my bottle was empty, I took a sip it was vodka in soda. I downed it in one go, my throat burned but I didn’t feel anything else.

Guys cheered for me and handed me another glass, Jayson was not moving his eyes from me while Dylan was constantly throwing cheesy lines at me, I just laughed at him because I was not interested in him at all.

While talking to me he put his hand on my knee, I looked at Jayson, if he was a lycan this guy would be dead by now, Jayson looked so furious he got up and left. I got up to follow him but V stopped me. She gushed “Enna, oh god he couldn’t stop looking at you, and damn I thought he would punch Dylan any moment now”.

I didn’t know what to tell her because she didn’t know how possessive mates are for each other. I grabbed her hand and told her “come on let’s go look for Liam and Becky and you’ve drunk enough so don’t dare take another one”. She pouted and said, “yes mom”.

Liam and Becky were dancing, I thought of leaving them alone but they saw us and waved at us to join them. V was walking with me; I was looking around and saw him sitting in a corner with a bottle of vodka and cigarette in his hands and as usual, some girl barely clothed was trying to get him to look at him.

He was drowning himself in alcohol and I was getting really worried for him. It broke my heart that I can’t even go and talk to him. V and Becky started to force me to dance with them, Liam also said “Enna, let’s dance and enjoy a little, then we can go”.

I joined them on the dance floor, the music was really loud and I started to move with the beat. I’m not that good at dancing but I was trying to enjoy myself. Liam twirled me around which made me laugh. We were having fun when suddenly someone grabbed my arm tightly and I was pulled into a hard chest.

I didn’t have to turn around to see who it was, I could feel the sparks and his scent. My heart was beating so loud I didn’t know what to do, he whispered in my ear “come with me Sienna, and don’t even think about running away”.

His breath was tickling my skin and there were goosebumps erupting on my body. I looked at Liam, he was worried for me, I tried to assure him that I’ll be fine and he nodded. Jayson started dragging me across the hall and took me to a room upstairs. He pulled me in and locked the door behind.
