It’ll be okay

(So, taking note of the above chapter, I don’t think I’m good at writing emo stuff so I’m just going to skip three months so she gets better and used to the fact of not being with him. If you guys think I should write more, please do comment and I’ll try)

~Three months later~

It’s been three months since I came back. I miss Damon so much but it’ll be okay. I have a lot of people to support me and distract me so I’m fine. I was very sad the first few weeks but I’m better now. I wonder how Damon’s doing though. He’s probably going to be with Val. I hope he’s okay.

As for my wolf, she’s still very sad. Being away from her mate hit her harder than it hurt me. She’s been very secluded but is getting better now too.

I’m starting school next month. My school said it was okay to continue with Vi if I took extra classes to cover up what I missed. Thankfully, I’m a fast learner so I covered up what I missed before the new semester started. My parents also started my Alpha training. It’s nice to be busy; it stops my mind from wandering too much.

“Hey, do you want to go to the mall? It’s been way too long,” Vi asked.

“Sure, let me grab my phone and purse. I’ll see you downstairs in a few,” I told her.

I took off Damon’s jacket, can’t let it get dirty, and yes, I haven’t taken it off much since I’m back, and pulled on a shrug. I took my stuff and headed downstairs.

“Mom, I’m going to the mall with Vi,” I shouted as I hopped downstairs.

“Okay sweetie, don’t be out too late!” she replied.

I saw Vi by the door and took her arm. We both went outside and sat down in the car. Since none of us has a license yet, we are going with a driver.

“So, tell me something about your adventure,” Vi said.

“If you’re comfortable talking about it, that is,” she added.

“Yes, I think I can. So, did I tell you about Valerie?” I asked.

“The witch right?” she recalled.

“Yup she’s amazing though,” I started telling her all about Val.

“Wow, you replaced with another witch! Ouch,” she said dramatically wiping off a fake tear.

“Yesyes drama queen, like I could ever replace you,” I rolled my eyes.

Then we reached the mall and went inside. We jumped from one store to another, just trying things on but barely buying anything.

We were in a random store when my eyes stuck on a dress. It was very pretty. It was the exact same colour as my dress in the vamp ball, Damon’s favourite colour. I gazed at it.

“You’ll look so hot in it, try it on!” Vi exclaimed.

“Plus, it completely matches with Damon’s jacket,” she added.

“How do you know it was his jacket?” I asked surprised.

“Please, do I not know you at all? A fool would notice the way you’ve been clinging to that jacket. You’ve taken it off only when you go outside or when you take a shower. Why would it not be his jacket?” she pointed out.

“This is his favourite colour. It’s the color of the gown I wore when we had our first kiss,” I told her.

“OMG! Then we should totally buy it for your birthday next week,” She exclaimed.

I tried it on and it fit perfectly. It looked perfect. I bought it and we went home because it was getting late.

At home, I went to my room and gazed at it. I wrapped his jacket around me as all the memories flooded my mind. We had been together for such a short time, and yet he made a permanent mark on my heart. I do miss him so much and I always will, but it’ll be okay.
