Chapter 15 by HusnaS
15. Accidentally Stab Her
Just a single glare from Lucas had the crowd of people scrambling away.
Despite that, each of the words they’d said didn’t miss Tracy’s ears. They mocked about how Mr. Olsen had literally ignored her, even questioning who she was.
“Lucas…” Tracy lifted her head, batting her lashes innocently.
However, Lucas looked distracted. His eyes were fixed in the direction Heidi took.
Tracy bit her lips hard to control the burning anger inside her.
Finally, Lucas said, “Just go home.”
The man was no longer in the mood to hang out with her tonight.
Tracy didn’t try to refute his order, sensing the foreboding aura around him.
Lucas looked as if he would break something. And it was all because of Heidi.
As Tracy drove out of the bar alone, Her fingers dug into the steering wheel.
Her vision was blurred with rage that she could barely see the road properly.
At the last moment, she changed her mind and drove straight to the Harrisons Mansion.
Stella was about to retire to bed when Tracy walked in.
Tracy threw her arms around Stella and sobbed loudly.
“Oh My God, Tracy. What happened?” Stella was taken aback.
She quickly helped Tracy to a couch and sat beside her. “Who got on your bad side? Why do you look this way?”
“Is my relationship with Lucas doomed from the start, Stella? Why does Heidi keep giving us trouble?”
“What do you mean?” Stella’s expression darkened the moment she heard Heidi’s name.
“Heidi did not only trick Grandpa Winston into giving her the family’s heirloom, she is also stalking Lucas and I and making a scene wherever we go.”
“Wait-What!?” Stella sprang to her feet, her mouth opening wide. “You mean Heidi has the family’s heirloom?”
“Grandpa Winston gave it to her at the hospital. Isn’t that unfair?”
“Does Lucas know about it?” Stella sat down, trying to digest the news.
“Lucas knows. Well, I don’t think he’ll do anything about it.” Tracy sniffled. ” Heidi keeps bringing up tactics to have him running after her.”
“That’s impossible. You mustn’t let that happen, Tracy.” Stella grabbed her shoulders, giving her a firm look. “We can’t let Heidi stand in our way. Remember your mission, you must marry Lucas no matter what.”
Tracy nodded, wiping her tears. “But you know I can’t give us out. Lucas keeps his eyes on me more than anyone. If a mistake happens, he’ll be the first to notice it.”
“Just go home. Don’t worry about a thing.”
After seeing Tracy off at the door, Stella spent a long time pacing inside the bedroom.
She was more concerned about that jewelry.
How dare that Old Man?
“Honey, you must hear this. You have to do something about this.” She ran into her husband’s arms when he came back.
“That Old Man is keen on disregarding us as his family members. Do you know he went and gave that lowly girl the family’s heirloom?”
Blake Harrison’s expression darkened when he heard that.
He and his father had not been on good terms ever since he married his second wife, Stella. The only person Grandpa Winston cared about was Lucas, and that lowly girl, Heidi.
He refused to let Stella have the heirloom after his first daughter-in- law, Lucas’s mother, passed away.
How could he hand it over to some insignificant girl as if it had no value?
Instantly, he brought out his phone and dialed a number.
“Get all the bodyguards together. Find Heidi wherever she is. You must retrieve the jewelry from her!”
“Yes, Master.”
“Don’t alert the Old Man.”
Outside The Mansion.
Tracy didn’t leave but stayed inside her car.
Knowing that Blake Harrison would return soon, she was confident that Stella would tell him everything.
When she saw the bodyguards gathered in one place and discussing among themselves, Tracy knew her mission had been accomplished.
A smile spread on her lips and she left the car.
“Ms. Carlson, you are still here?” One of the bodyguards recognized her.
“Yeah. Come inside my car. There’s something I want us to discuss.”
The bodyguard looked unsure as he exchanged glances with his colleagues.
Yet, he had no choice but to follow her. Inside the car, Tracy picked up her purse and brought out a black card.
“Its debit transaction is limitless. You can withdraw any amount you want.”
The bodyguard was baffled. “Ms. Carlson, th-this. W-What can I do for you?”
“Just get rid of Heidi.” Tracy shrugged. “Didn’t Blake Harrison ask you to retrieve the jewelry?”
“That’s right.” The bodyguard nodded absentmindedly, staring at the card which was now in his hand. 1
“How about after you retrieve the jewelry, you accidentally stab her? After all, you’ll make it seem like a theft.”
Tracy gave the bodyguard a knowing look, and his eyes widened with realization.
