YBTM | Chapter 15
Violet
Pulling up the driveway, I looked to see a massive house in front of me. Shaking my head, I took another look. Yep. It's real alright. I can't stand how people flaunt their money around. Daddy never did that and I grew up with everything I asked for.
"Hey!" I felt a hand on my shoulder, bringing me from my thoughts. "Out. Now." Cody barked as he pulled me from the SUV.
I bit my lip, deciding whether to listen to him or not. I do love to piss him off, but not so much now that Ted lets him have his way now. Taking a deep breath, I moved to the door and slowly started to get out. I looked all around, thinking about making a run for it, only to see a massive body get out of the driver's seat, causing me to gulp. As soon as they turned around, my eyes went wide. It couldn't be, could it?
"Not so easy, is it?" Cody laughed in my ear as he came up behind me, placing a hand on my waist.
"Get off." I tried to move away from him.
"You little-" Cody was cut off by Ted.
"You. Here. Now." Ted pointed from me to in front of him. I hesitated a little bit before Cody pushed me forward. Rolling my eyes, I slowly made my way over to where Ted was standing. "...ass..." I mumbled.
"Good girl." Ted grinned, putting his arm around my waist. I shuddered at the feeling of his hands on me. "Look at this..." He turned, showing off everything. "...this is all ours." He sounded so proud of himself.
"...yours...." He grabbed my waist hard. "...okay..." I winced. "...ours." I bit my lip, tears brimming my eyes.
"Now, to our room." Ted gave me no choice as he pulled me with him up the stairs and into the house.
Once inside, I was in awe. This place was massive, clean, beautiful. I shook my head. This is not my house. It never will be. After I only got a glimpse of some rooms, Ted led me up the grand staircase. At the top, we turned left and walked down a long hall, only two doors on our way. Opening the door, Ted pushed me inside, causing me to stumble forward.
"Stay." He commanded and closed the door, locking it, before I could say anything.
"Damn it!" I stomped my foot angrily. "There has to be a way out of here!"
I began walking around the room when I came to a door. Opening it, I saw a massive walk-in closet. The biggest closet I have ever seen. It was as big as the room itself. Walking further in, I saw clothes already hanging, shoes in a shoe case, a vanity with make-up, everything you could think of.
"He knew this was going to happen." I shook my head, looking at everything that was my size.
I walked back over to the door, closing it and going deeper into the closet. This was my escape for now, away from him. Sitting on a couch at the back of the closet, I rested my head on the arm of the couch. Thinking about Mike and how this should be us right now and not me and this prick. Clearing my head of everything, I thought of only Mike. It worked, since the next thing I knew, I heard my name being called. Opening my eyes slowly, I rubbed them to help with my blurry vision.
"...Mike..." I mumbled as I looked around. Realizing where I was, I threw my head back on the couch. The closet was now dark, when it was once full of light. I must have fallen asleep.
"Violet!" I heard Ted yell, his voice full of anger. I stayed on the couch, covering my eyes, praying he wouldn't find me. I heard the closet door open and my name once again.
"Violet!" Ted barked as he opened the door to the closet. Hearing the door close, I rolled my eyes, thinking he had left. Sitting up on the couch, I tried to adjust my eyes to the darkness in the closet. "Aha!" I heard from somewhere in the closet.
"Damn it!" I huffed. I looked over to see Ted standing by one of the dressers, hidden in the shadows.
"Thought I left, huh." I could hear the cockiness in Ted's tone.
"...yes..."
"Too bad." He walked over to me. "Up." He grabbed my arm, pulling me from the couch. "I was worried when I couldn't find you." He tucked my hair behind my ear. He was so hot and cold. One minute he was showing me affection, then the next he was being his true self.
"Where am I going to go? I don't even know where the hell I am." I bit back sarcastically.
"Really..." He grabbed my hair. "...I thought we were done with this shit." His tone got more aggressive. There it is, his cold side.
"No-" He pulled a fist full of my hair tighter. "Yes!" I cried out from the pain. I swore I felt my hair being ripped from my scalp by the force he was using.
"Good." He kissed my lips. "Bed." He started to lead me out of the closet.
"I'm not tired." I complained, refusing to follow him.
"Then you can go be with Cody." He stopped and looked at me over his shoulder.
"Bed is good." I said, not wanting to be with that psycho right now.
"Excellent.” He grinned at me as he led me out of the closet and to the bed.
Ted was actually nice for once and let me climb on the bed, him climbing in after taking his clothes off, expect his boxers. He pulled me close to him, my head on his chest. His hold on me was tight so I was unable to move. I was not even tired, since I slept all day. Wanting to make him happy and for my plan to work, just this once, I behaved for him.
Nicole
"...no...." I cried. "...stop!" I tried to get away from Cody the best I could. "Leave me alone!" I shouted, smacking and kicking him with all my strength. It was impossible to get away from him. He was so strong and there was not much I could do. All I wanted was Alex right now.
"Nicole..." I heard. I could've sworn I heard Alex's voice.
"No!" I cried out again.
"Nicole!" I heard, feeling like someone was shaking me.
"No!" I yelled, jolting up in bed, eyes wide, trying to catch my breath.
"It's alright." I heard Alex sooth and he brought me closer to him. "I got you." He held me tight in his arms. It felt so good to be in his arms. The warmth and safety I felt was unimaginable.
"...nightmare..." I sobbed into his chest trying to steady my breathing.
"Shh..." He soothed me. "...you're safe now." He kissed my head.
I wrapped my arms around him as tight as I could, not wanting to leave him. After a while, my breathing started to slow and I became more calm.
"Now...what happened?" He asked as I looked up at him, him moving my hair from my face and behind my ear.
"I-I can't..." I buried my face back into his chest.
"You can tell me." He coaxed.
"No..." I refused. I was too ashamed of what happened and feared that he would no longer want to be with me after what happened. I felt so dirty and used. After my silence, Alex realized I was not ready to talk.
"Okay love..." He kissed my head. "...when you're ready." He held me closer and tighter as I slowly became more and more relaxed. My nightmare was finally over but, we still needed to save Vi from her own.
Violet
Hearing the waves crash outside, I opened my eyes. I guess I fell asleep. Lifting my head, I saw Ted still sound asleep. I tried to slowly move off him, only for him to pull me close. Damn it. I thought he was asleep. I stopped moving in hopes that he would settle down and I could get away.
"...mine..." He mumbled in his sleep. "...all mine..." A smirk appeared on his face.
Disgusted, I shook my head, trying to think of a way to get out of bed. Laying there for some time, Ted still sleeping, I decided and, against my better judgment, started to wake him. If this is what I had to do to get on his good side, I would grit my teeth and bare through it.
"Ted..." I softly whispered, moving my fingers over his cheek.. "...wake up." I ran my fingers from his cheek and over his chest. He smiled in his sleep and slowly started to stir.

"...morning..." He mumbled, kissing the top of my head. I did my best not to move away. I had to play nice if this was going to work.
"Morning." I faked a smile as I looked at him. "Can I go out today?" I asked as sweetly as I could, even though I knew the answer.
"Hmmm..." He slowly started to wake up more, his hands moving to my lower back.. "...I don't know..." He pondered as he tucked my hair behind my ear and looked into my eyes. "...you promise to behave?"
"I do." I nodded, trying to be as convincing as I could. Like hell was I going to behave. This was just a ruse to get on his good side, of course.
"If you promise..." His brows furrowed as he searched my eyes. "..I suppose." He sighed.
"Really?!" I said, shocked. I thought I was going to have to work harder than that to get him to say yes.
"Yes." He nodded. "Not too long though."
"I promise." I said as he moved his arm so I could move. To show that I was 'behaving', I gave him a quick peck on the cheek. Definitely going to have to bleach my lips when I get home.
Finally. He was letting me out of the house. I got out of bed and walked over to the closet. It was already a gorgeous morning and perfect tanning weather. I saw a spot away from the house that would be perfect. Walking in the closet, I looked for a swimsuit to wear. Finding one, I put it on as well as shorts and a cover-up. Everything was so revealing, no matter what I did. Pulling my hair to the side and braiding it, I looked in the mirror. I grabbed a pair of flip-flops and a bag to put a towel in there as well.
"This is it." I said to myself, as I looked in the mirror. I was finally going to make it back home and back to Mike. Taking a deep breath, I walked out of the closet, to the bathroom.
"Wait." Ted said, causing me to stop. "Turn."
I turned on my heel so I was now facing him. The way he looked at me made me cringe. His eyes were raking over me as he licked his lips. "Approved." He said, smirking.
Cringing, I wanted to say something, but bit my lip. I needed to get out and behaving was the only way I could.
"Good." I grinned, walking into the bathroom for a towel. "See you later." I walked over to him, pecking him on the lips. Again, I surprised myself. God how I cringed when I did that. Oh well, it worked though. Walking across and out of the room, I could feel his eyes on me. Closing the door, I leaned my back against it and took a deep breath.
"Phase one, done." I smirked, walking down the hall and to the stairs. Looking around, I saw no sign of Cody. Breathing a sigh of relief, I walked into the kitchen and got a water out of the fridge. After closing the fridge, I jumped. "Where do you think you're going?" Cody said in an annoyed tone as he leaned on the counter.
"Out." I said, pushing past him.
"Like hell!" He spat, grabbing my arm.
"Ted said so!" I yelled, pulling my arm as Cody stood there shocked.
Flashing a sarcastic smile, I walked through the house and out the door. Stepping out, I took in the warm sea air. I walked down the steps and headed to the beach to complete the last phase. I was really hoping this would work since I haven't seen many of his men around since we got here.
Ted
After locking Violet in the room, I headed back downstairs and to the kitchen. Opening the fridge, I pulled out an ice-cold beer, took the top off and took a big sip.
"That bad, huh?" Cody laughed, as he walked in, grabbing a beer as well.
"You have no idea." I sighed. "I don't know what more she wants from me." I ran my hands through my hair. "I have money, a private island, a massive house..." "She'll come around." Cody said as he popped the top off his beer. "We almost have her where we want her."
"True." I sipped my beer. He was right about that. I knew she was going to give into me one of these days.
Cody and I just talked about business for the rest of the day. I needed to make sure my shipments were on time and my clients were going to be here for our meeting. If I was going to make this deal, everything needed to go as planned. Cody and I headed out to the pool as we finished our beers and talked business.
It was getting late and the sun was starting to go down. I haven't seen or heard from Violet since I left her in the room. Setting my empty bottle on the table, I headed inside and up to our room. Opening the door, I didn't see her on the bed. I knew she was in the house since no one reported her leaving. I looked in the bathroom before going to the closet. There she was, lying on the couch. Oh how I wanted to just bend her over that couch and take her. I was too tired and needed some sleep after our long flight and discussion. Of course, she had to be her stubborn, feisty self and refuse to go to bed. Giving her only two options, she chose to go to bed.
Waking up, I felt soft fingers on my face. Hearing her beautiful voice, had me slowly open my eyes. I knew she was up to something and decided to play along. I only agreed to what she asked, since I had cameras and men hidden all over the island.
Watching as Violet walked across the room in that skimpy bikini, I bit my lip and groaned. Man, was she as hot as ever. After she left the room, I reached over to the side table, grabbed the remote and turned the TV on. "My favorite show." I grinned.
"Ted!" I heard Cody shout, bursting in the doors. "What the hell man?!" He seemed shocked.
"What?"
"You let her out?!"
"Mhm." I nodded, motioning to the TV. He should know me better than that.
"Oooh." Cody grinned, focusing on the screen with Violet on it.
"She thinks she can fool me..." I smirked. "...little does she know, I have eyes on her at all times." I looked at the TV as she made her way to the beach. She may try to run but, she cannot hide from me. "What do you think she is going to do?" Cody asked as we watched her. I knew exactly what she was going to do.
"Run."
"We can't have that."
"We won't."
"Do tell?"
"Ready?"
I then told Cody my plan and it was a good one. She thinks she is going to get away, but she has another thing coming.
Violet
Reaching the beach, I felt the warmth of the sand as it went between my feet and flip-flops. Looking out at that great big sea, I thought how easy it would be to just get in and never come not. "Mike..." I bit my lip, a tear coming to my eye.
I could not do that. Mike was the only thing keeping me going right now. I couldn't and would never do that to him. Walking down the beach as thoughts of Mike drifted through my mind, I came to the spot I had found earlier from the balcony of the room. I laid my towel on the sand, taking off my shorts and cover-up, looking to make sure I was far from view. Setting them to the side, I took off my sandals and laid down on the towel. The sun was bright and warm, the air mild and salty. As I lay there, I filled my thoughts with Mike and I. Slowly, before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep.
Rolling over, I felt the sun hot on my back. "Shit!" I mumbled at the stinging on my back. Great, I probably have sunburn now. "What is it with me and sleep." I shook my head, sitting up on my towel.
Looking around, the sun was still high in the sky. Good. I stood up, brushing the sand off me and pulling my clothes back on. Leaving the towel where it was, I started to walk further down the beach. Coming up to a trail through the dunes, I took it, making sure I was out of sight of the house. I was a few miles from the house, so I was safe. It was becoming hotter and I was getting more tired. I pushed through and kept walking until I made it to the road. There it was, about a mile up ahead. "You can do this!" I said to myself as I began walking down the road. I pushed myself with everything in me to keep going.
After walking for what seemed like forever, I came to the small airstrip on the island. Making sure the coast was clear, I ran for the plane. Once on the plane, I pulled down the stairs, climbing up and closing them behind me. Taking a few deep breaths of relief, I heard something behind me.
"Going somewhere?"
