YBTM | Chapter 16
***Trigger warnings in this chapter.***
He was right. It was all just a ploy for her to try to run. Not this time. We are too smart for her. Watching as she made her way down the road, I stayed hidden the best I could. I couldn't wait to see the look on her face. After seeing a light from the stairs opening and then darkness from them closing, I let her think she had gotten away.
"Going somewhere?" I grinned, walking out from the back cabin. Turning around, her eyes went wide and she frantically tried to get off again. **Ted**
Watching the camera as she made her way to the plane, a smirk came across my face.
"She's going to get it." I rubbed my hands, knowing what was waiting for her. I picked up my phone off the table and opened my contacts.
"Capo?" They answered after the first ring. Damn right, they better answer as soon as I call.
"Fallon, bring a few men to the main house and have the others tighten the perimeter." I ordered into the phone.
"Si Capo. How many?"
"Three of you at the house and twenty around the perimeter."
"I'll get right on that sir." He said, and I ended the call. I turned my attention back to the cameras and after a few minutes, the door opened again and I saw Cody pulling her out of the plane and throwing her in the car. Watching as it sped down the road, I waited until it was in the driveway before heading out and waiting for her. She was going to pay for what she did and she was going to learn who was in charge.
**Violet**
I turned, eyes wide, gasping. How the hell? I was so careful. Fear began to rush all over me as I tried to think of an excuse. There was no way he could have seen me from the beach and gotten here that quickly.
"I-" My voice quivered as I tried to avoid his burning gaze.
"Save it!" Cody seethed, taking my arm and throwing me against the cockpit door. My head hit the door hard and my vision began to blur as all the air was sucked from my lungs. "....please..." I pleaded, trying to catch my breath.
"What?" He pulled me up by my hair, pinning me against the door. "What's your excuse this time?" He spat, inches from my face. I could feel his hot breath fanning my cheeks.
"I left something." I mumbled, trying to come up with an excuse.
"Lies!" He yelled. "I took everything off this plane last night. Nothing is left."
"But-" I felt a stinging on my face as he slapped me.
"Enough!" His voice was filled with rage. "Just wait until I get you back with Ted." He smirked, pulling me to the stairs. I tried pulling against his grip only for it to tighten even more. "No!" I cried from his harsh hold on my wrist. "Please!" I pleaded. "I'm sorry!"
"Too bad." Cody shook his head, opening the door.
Without saying another word, Cody pulled me down the stairs and to an awaiting car. I tried to look and see if there was anyone else around to help but the place was deserted. As I was looking around, he opened the door, throwing me inside. He got in next to me as I pressed myself against the opposite door. The car then sped off to the house. Reaching the house, I saw Ted standing there with an evil look on his face. I bit my lip, trembling. The car stopped and Cody got out and opened my door.
"No!" I began kicking him. He doubled over in pain as I kicked him in his groin.
"Bitch!" He yelled, leaning in and smacking me hard across my face. "Out!" He yanked me up and pulled me to the house.
"No!" I struggled against him. I didn't want to see what Ted would do this time. "No!" I cried, seeing the look on Ted's face. "Let me go!" I tried clawing at Cody so he would loosen his grip. It didn't affect him since we reached where Ted was. "Well, well, well..." Ted grinned, looking down at me. "... what do we have here?" He said as he walked down the steps to where Cody and I were.
"Screw you!" I spat, as Cody threw me at Ted, his arms wrapping tightly around my waist.
"Oh sweetie..." Ted slowly said as he leaned down to my ear. "...that's the least of your worries right now." He hissed in my ear, before moving to grab my wrist and pulling me into the house. The next thing I knew, I felt was a sharp pain running down my back as I was thrown into the banister of the stairs.
"You think you're smarter than me?" Ted yelled, kicking me in my ribs. "Huh?" He kicked me harder this time.
"...no...." I tried to mutter. I was struggling to catch my breath as each kick he gave me was harder than the last.
Ted then picked me up by my hair and threw me across the grand foyer. He came over, kicking me in my ribs a few more times before Cody had to stop him.
"Ted!" Cody pushed him back. "You want her alive."
I laid there coughing, holding my side while trying to catch my breath.
"She needs to learn!" Ted shouted. "She's never leaving!"
"...fuck...you...." I muttered with what strength I had.
"Shut up!" Cody yelled, yanking me up by my hair.
"You think this is over?!" He spat. "It's far from over." He threw me back on the floor.
Laying there, looking up at them, I could not wait for them to get what was coming to them. As they continued to argue about god knows what, I slowly began to move the best I could out of the room. Just as I was about to enter the room, three more men walked into the house, causing Ted and Cody to turn their attention to the men. I heard them talking, but I continued making my way into another room and pulled myself further into it, trying to find a place to hide. Finding one, I felt my side and winced. Looking down, I could see the fresh bruises and began to let out a cry.
"Violet!" I heard from the other room. I knew it was Ted and he was pissed. I heard him bark out orders to everyone with him as I heard footsteps moving in various directions. I covered my mouth to hide any sound that might escape my lips. "We will find you." Ted taunted.
"When we do...you'll regret it." Cody added, a hint of amusement in his voice.
I quivered at the tone of their voice, trying to stay hidden the best I could, for as long as I could.
"Come out, come out wherever you are..." I heard Cody mock as he was getting closer to where I was hiding. Closing my eyes tight and pushing harder on my mouth to keep my voice muffled, I saw his feet right in front of me. "I know you're in here..." I saw him look around before walking off. Breathing a sigh of relief, I felt someone grab my ankles.
"Got you!"
"No!" I cried, trying to claw my way away.
"Not this time." I could hear the anger in Cody's voice as he pulled me from under the couch, then pulling me up and pinning me to the wall, his hand tight on my throat.
"...stop..." I gasped, trying to pull his hand off. It was getting harder to breathe and my vision was starting to get blurry.
"Give me one good reason why I should." He gritted in my ear.
"...please..." I pleaded.
"You found her." I heard Ted say as he walked into the room. I figured this was my chance to play 'nice' with Ted and hopefully get back on his good side. "...Ted..." I said between gasps.
"You're actually asking for me?" He raised a brow.
I slowly nodded my head, trying anything to get out of Cody's hold. He nodded at Cody to let me go and I ran right to Ted, wrapping my arms around him.
"Keep him away from me!" I pleaded, as I buried my face in his chest and sobbed.
"Sure thing." He said. "One thing..." He said, tilting my chin to look at him. "...tell me why?"
"I...I only want..." I bit my lip. "...you touching me." I lied, not wanting either of them to touch me.
"Is that so?" He looked at me, mocking concern.
"Please buy it...please..." I thought to myself. Looking from me to Cody, Ted thought about what I said.
"Sorry..." He said. "...not buying it." He smirked, turning me around and pushing me back to Cody.
"No!" I yelled, trying to go to him, only to have Cody hold me back.
"Deal with her." Ted instructed, as he turned and walked away.
"No!" I pleaded. "Ted!" I cried, reaching out for him, thrashing in Cody's grasp.
"Save it." Cody gritted, squeezing me so tight, I almost passed out. "You need all your energy." I could feel him smirk against my neck.
**Ted**
"Ted!" Cody pushed me back. "You want her alive." I was not one to let anyone put their hands on me or talk to me like that, but Cody was right. I was so filled with anger and rage, my judgment was getting cloudy. "She needs to learn!" I shouted, pointing over to Violet. "She's never leaving!" This woman was going to learn she is MINE.
"...fuck...you...." She muttered. I could hear how weak she was and knew she was losing her will. Her father mi9ght have trained her in self-defense, but not in stamina.

"Shut up!" Cody yelled, yanking her up by her hair. I hate when he puts his hands on her, but she needs to learn. I was too angry and if I were to go over there, it would not be good. I really don't want to hurt her, but she needs to be punished. "You think this is over?!" He spat. "It's far from over." He threw her back on the floor.
"I know you want to keep her here but, you want her alive, don't you?" Cody made a good point. Of course, I wanted her here and alive. If not, these past three years would be for nothing. Shaking my head, I ran my fingers through my hair. 'Stop it DiBiase! You're not that soft.' I thought to myself.
"You're right." I looked at Cody. "You handle her when she acts like this then."
"My pleasure." Cody smirked. As Cody and I were finishing our conversation, Fallon walked in with Nico and Gabriel. They were by three most trusted employees at the moment. Just as I was about to give them instructions, I looked over to where Violet was and I noticed she was gone. This woman, I swear.
"Damn it!" I shouted, running my hands through my hair as Cody looked over as well.
"Violet!" I yelled. "We will find you."
"When we do...you'll regret it." Cody sneered. "She's got to be here somewhere." He added.
"You got that way..." I motioned to the living room. "...I'll go this way." I set off toward the kitchen. "Fallon, check upstairs. Nico check the front and Gabriel, check the patio. She couldn't have gone too far." I barked over my shoulder. I checked every room I saw as
I made my way to the kitchen. I could hear Cody still looking, as he was taunting her the whole time. I took out my phone and gave the other men instructions on where to look and where they needed to be stationed. "Come out, come out wherever you are..." I smirked as I continued to look in every place possible. I looked under every chair, table, and counter. She has to be here somewhere.
"Violet..." I opened the pantry, walking in. Not finding her, I huffed in annoyance. "...we will find you..." I said as I walked out of the pantry.
Suddenly, I heard a commotion from the other room. Knowing what was going on, I walked from the kitchen to the living room. As I walked in, I saw Cody had Violet against the wall. I guess she didn't get that far.
"You found her." I grinned, walking into the room. As I walked in, I saw Violet look at me with pleading eyes. I knew exactly what she was going to do and I was not going to buy it. She didn't fool me for a second. This was just another one of her games. I did like her games though. Such a turn on.
"... Ted..." She said between gasps, sounding desperate.
"You're actually asking for me?" I raised a brow. There it is. I knew she was going to play the 'good girl' card. Too bad I was on to her.
She slowly nodded her head, trying anything to get out of Cody's hold. I nodded at Cody to get her go and she ran right to me, wrapping her arms around my waist and burying her face in my chest.
"Keep him away from me!" She pleaded as she sobbed into my chest.
"Sure thing." I said. "One thing..." I said, tilting her chin to look at me. I could see it in her eyes. "...tell me why?"
"I...I only want..." She bit her lip. "...you touching me." I knew she was lying from the moment she bit her lip. She tends to do that when she tells a lie and wants it to be believable. She tries to act so innocent, but she's not.
"Is that so?" I looked at her. I saw right through her and her lies. She couldn't lie to me. Looking from her to Cody, I thought about what she said, giving her a small glimmer of hope that I actually believed her.
"Sorry..." I said, turning her in my arms.. "...not buying it." I smirked as I pushed her back to Cody.
"No!" She yelled, trying to go to me, only to have Cody hold her back.
"Deal with her." I instructed as I turned and walked away.
She really gets under my skin but, I wouldn't have it any other way. Everything about her turned me on, no matter how much she pissed me off. I walked down the hall and to my office. I sat behind my desk and turned on my computer. I needed to get these shipments sorted out and find out who was messing with my business.
**Mike**
According to my source, they are here at this hotel. I am so close to having her back with me. I can't wait to have her back, safe in my arms. I'd never do anything like that to her. I love her way too much. When this is all over, I plan on taking the next step with her and creating a new chapter in our lives. I knew her father would approve, so that was one less thing I had to worry about. I was looking through my phone again at the information my contact within our cartel sent me. "Mike!" I heard, bringing me from my thoughts.
"Mike!" I heard louder, it was Alex. "We got the room number."
"What is it?!" I jumped up, ready to go. How did they manage to get it and my source didn't?
"1421." Nicole said.
"Let's go!" I said, rushing to the door. I grabbed my gun, putting it in the back of my jeans.
"Wait." Alex said, stopping us in our tracks. "Nicole, you stay here."
"No!" She protested. "I'm going with you!"

"No. I lost you once. I'm not going through it again."
"But-"
"No 'buts'." He said. "Once we get her back, this is all going to be behind us." He kissed her before we ran out of the room and to the elevator.
Reaching the elevator, I frantically pushed the button. I contemplated taking the stairs but, the doors opened and we got in, hitting the floor number. The ride seemed to take forever and I regret not taking the stairs, but it finally reached the floor. We got out and ran down the hall, looking for the room.
"Here!” Alex said, stopping me as I ran past it. I was too concerned about finally having Vi back, I wasn't paying attention. Not to mention, I wanted his blood as well. Trying the key card Nicole got from the front desk, I put it in the lock and the door opened. This girl deserves credit and I'm going to have her moved to the head of the IT department when this is all over. Slowly pushing the door open, I peered around the door. Holding my finger to my lips for Alex to be quiet, I made my way into the room. I pulled my gun out of my pants and looked behind the door. When I saw the room was empty, I motioned for Alex to enter. Looking all around, in the closet, in the bathroom, and the balcony, I found the room empty. "Fuck!" I yelled in frustration, running my hand through my hair. Where the hell were they? We had eyes on this hotel the whole time.
"How the hell did we miss them?!"
"I don't know, but I have an idea." I said, getting my phone and calling my source for updates. I swear that if my source was behind this as well, I was going to make them pay.
**Violet**
It's been two days...two days of torture with Cody. Since he found out I do not like him touching me, that is all he does. He's kept me locked up in his room, with nothing to eat and barely anything to drink. At least Ted let me eat and drink. Feeling weak and dizzy, I looked around the room. No sign of Cody...good. I have had enough of him touching me. Surprisingly, that is all he has done. I thought he would do more, but I thought wrong. I thanked whoever was listening for that little reprieve. Still, his hands on my body were enough torture for me.
"...you can...do it..." I mumbled, trying to gather all my strength just to lift my head.
I was almost in a sitting position, when I heard talking from outside the door. Biting my lip, I forced myself up, pain radiating through my body. I saw the handle on the door start to turn and that is when I fell to the floor. Hearing the door open, I tried to crawl under the bed. Hearing one set of footsteps, I thanked god for it only being one person.
"Hiding?" I heard Cody chuckle in a maniacal tone. "More fun for me..." I heard him approaching after he closed the door. I was almost under the bed when I felt his hands on my legs and the feeling of being slid across the floor. Once I was out from under the bed, he flipped me over on my back, pinning my arms above my head.
"You never learn." Cody grinned, hovering over me.
"...off..." I wiggled under him, trying to kick him to get him off.
"Really?" He put his weight on my legs, causing me to groan in pain. "You wanna go?" He leaned down, inches from my face.
"...no..." I whimpered.
"Maybe later." He smirked, moving off me, and pulling me to my feet, causing me to almost fall from exhaustion.
"...please..." I took a breath. My throat was so dry and scratchy from all the yelling I did. "...can I have water?"
"Hmmm..." He pondered. "...I suppose. I do need you to have more energy." He grinned. I bit my lip, tears coming to my eyes. I could feel his eyes on me as he sat me on the bed.
"Here." He handed me another bikini. I hated how skimpy everything was.
"...no." I pushed it away, only for him to smack me across the face.
"Now." He gritted, shoving the skimpy cloth at me.
I slowly reached out, reaching for the swimsuit. He stepped back and I could feel his eyes on me. I tried to cover up as I got dressed, only for him to move my arms out of the way. Afraid to look at him, I got dressed and slowly stood. "Hot..." He grinned, biting his lip as he pulled me next to him, wrapping his arm around my waist.
Being too faint and weak to fight, I let him so I had support to walk. He led me out of the bedroom and down the stairs to the kitchen. Everything smelt so good in there. My mouth watered at the thought of being able to eat. Once in the kitchen, Cody sat me down as he sat next to me.
"Where's Ted?" I asked lowly.
"Not joining us tonight." Cody simply said as our food was placed in front of us.
Since I was so hungry and didn't want to have it taken away, I stayed quiet as we ate. Sitting there, taking my time eating, this was the quietest I've seen Cody. I wanted to keep it that way so I behaved for the rest of the meal. Once we were done, Cody stood, pulling me up after. Feeling a bit better with food in me, I tried to pull away, only for his hold to get tighter. I bit my lip, wincing in pain as he started to walk toward the patio where the pool was. "Down." He pushed me into one of the lounge chairs.
He walked over, pulling one closer to me and lying down. I laid with my back to him, not wanting to look at him. After lying there for a bit, I saw Ted walk out and sit adjacent to us.
"... Ted..." I said, trying to get up.
"Nope." I felt Cody pull me down. "Still mine." I felt him grin against the skin on my shoulder.
"No!" I cried.
"The more you ask for him, the longer you're mine." Cody hissed, his breath hot on my ear. I bit my lip, lying back down as tears came to my eyes.
