Chapter Chapter Twenty-Eight
"Hello, my friend," Isis replies in a warm voice.
"Ah, good morning. I'm not Mistress Freya, I'm Lucia from the servants' quarters. I've come to Mistress Freya's room to see if she needs anything, but I'm afraid. She can't move and asked me to call her," Lucia explained with a tone of concern in her voice.
Isis, hearing this, was immediately alarmed. In a worried voice, she replied.
"My friend is in danger. I'll call for help immediately. Stay at the entrance to the manor, and please don't say anything to anyone. If you reveal what's happening to Freya, it will be on your conscience."
"That's all right, Mademoiselle. I'll wait in the hall for the person who's coming to help you," Lucia replied, trembling with fear as she closed the call. She looked at the lady with regret, ran to the door and left the room. She nervously descended the stairs and left the mansion by the back. He walked apprehensively, aware that he was now in a dangerous situation.
Isis hastened to call Apollon and Sienna to inform them of Freya's situation. Without hesitation, the two wolves head for the mansion. Despite Apollon's desire to enter immediately, Sienna convinced him it was dangerous. Spotting a nervous she-wolf at the manor entrance, she immediately approached.
"Lucia, is your name Lucia?"
"Yes! We need help in Madame Freya's room, something's happened to her," Lucia replied, her nervousness palpable.
"Lucia, can I trust you? This is a very serious matter. Freya is in danger and we need to get her out secretly."
"Let's go quickly. The staff are in her room. Lucia stammered, fear written all over her face.
The two she-wolves entered the mansion, Lucia checking the perimeter to make sure there was no one nearby. Quietly, they made their way to Freya's room. As they entered, Sienna observed Freya's paralyzed state, the will growing inside her. "Come on, Freya, we've got to get out of here," she said as she approached the bed, grabbing Freya by the arm and sliding her over her shoulder, then placing a hand around her waist, she took the impetus to pull her off the bed, straightening her up as she tried to walk towards the bedroom door.
"Come, Freya, we must leave here. We'll meet Isis on the way. I hope we're not too late," Sienna said, almost dragging Freya along. Even though Freya's body was heavy, Sienna was determined to get her out of there. Lucia, undecided how to help, sighed deeply and took Freya's other arm, placing it on her shoulder.
"Let's get out of here quickly, I'll go with you," Lucia offered in a trembling voice.
The two she-wolves stepped out cautiously, down the stairs, and when they reached the outside of the mansion, Lucia suggested.
"Come with me. That way, the guards won't see us." Sienna trusted the frightened she-wolf. The two of them went around the back of the manor and into the forest, undetected by the distracted guards. As they walked, Lucia remarked, "This way is longer to get to where the wagon is, but it's safer."
The two she-wolves, dragging Freya, crept up to the black van waiting for them in the shadows. Apollon, in a hurry, rushed to help the two wolves and carried Freya, Sienna opened the back door of the van and Freya climbed inside. "Come with us. You're in danger here; if they find out you've helped Freya escape, they might kill you," Apollon asked with concern in his voice.
Lucia, looking shy and perplexed, replied.
"I don't know what to do. All my life I've lived here and I've never left this pack." The vulnerability in his eyes shook Apollo, who sighed deeply before declaring, "You're coming with us. Get in the van now."
"Well, I'm not coming with you, nobody saw me. You'd better go, I'm staying." Lucia looked at Freya with pity and said in an affectionate voice, "Let yourself go, ma'am."

Lucia, without a word, turned her back on those present and fled into the forest, disappearing before Apollo's sharp, confused eyes. Sienna looked at her grumbling friend, jumped into the carriage and sped off. She turned to Apollo and asked. "He's your companion, isn't he?"
"Yes, but don't forget what we promised, not to get involved with them. Apollon nodded solemnly, his eyes fixed on the road.
"She's pretty and seems like a good wolf, tender and brave," Sienna commented, but Apollo remained silent, his attention fixed on the road.
After Freya's rebirth and the telling of her story, Isis gave a necklace to each of her friends. These necklaces would help them recognize their companions, but they wouldn't recognize them.
On the way, they passed an oncoming SUV, causing both vehicles to cut their engines.
Isis quickly got out of the car and pushed open the rear door. She nimbly climbed in and lifted her friend's head. Her body shuddered as she felt several faint energies, surprise evident on her face as she spoke excitedly. "I'm going to be an aunt to three puppies."
Apollo and Sienna looked at each other in disbelief and exclaimed in unison.
"What?"
"We're guys, what a joy, three guys to protect until we're done with enemies." Sienna strutted on, while Apollo thought only of the danger his companion was in, he wanted to go and get her out of that pack, but he'd made a promise. Without wasting any time, Isis drew a liquid from her pocket and opened Freya's mouth to administer its contents, then leaned Freya's head back to force the liquid down her throat. She observed her friend and commented. "Thanks to the she-wolf who arrived in time and helped get Freya out, we managed to save our nephews. He placed his hand affectionately on Freya's belly and, sensing a movement, tenderly expressed, "Those are three little tadpoles stirring; I can feel their energies, and they're powerful."
"Three puppies! Freya's weak voice was heard, "Thank you my friend for saving us, thank you Apollo and Sienna for getting me out of the manor" she explained in a breath as tears began to roll down her cheeks; she leaned over to hug Isis, "I was careless, my friend, I was careless and they almost killed my puppies. Those two cruel she-wolves almost killed us with a poison I ingested, but how could I not have realized it." "They gave you the witch's drug."
"How do you know?" she said, pulling away from Isis and brushing away her tears.
"Because of your symptoms, my friend. The paralysis, your parched skin, your pale, lifeless lips," she rummaged through her bag, "Luckily I brought antidotes for other poisons; they were clever. If you died, they were going to find you as if you were asleep. The least they could think was that you died poisoned."
"Lucia, where are you? I must apologize for the times I've treated you icily. In this mansion, I trusted no one." Tears escape her eyes with difficulty, "She helped me, if Lucia hadn't called you Isis, I would have been found dead."
"Calm down, Freya. Your babies aren't well, you need to take care of yourself. After the little ones are born, we'll take our revenge. It's not just yours, it's ours too, because they've wreaked havoc on our lives. As for Lucia, she's already found her guardian, who won't allow anyone to harm her."
"How do you know?" asks Apollo, confused.
"Don't forget that I'm a witch and I've learned a lot of interesting things lately," she expressed with a mischievous smile.
They all smiled at the sight of Apollo's embarrassed face. They climbed into the wagons and made their way through the forest to the orcs' new hideout.
