I watched Hope from across the courtyard she was sitting with both her grandparents and a few pack members. I noticed how every few minutes she would look over her shoulder at me. I am the luckiest bastard alive. I pulled out the card that I had been keeping in my pocket and read it..

You killed Alex, I will kill you then take your mate and claim my rightful place. Hundreds are waiting to attack your pack, many innocent lives will end because of you. The only way to stop this war to stop all the b***d shed ,whether you win or not, is to sacrifice yourself and put an end to all this. You have until midnight tomorrow if you care at all for your pack you will meet me at the clearing in the Enchanted Forest or your pack and many innocent lives will suffer the consequences.

I put the note back in my pocket calmly and looked up at Hope she was staring right at me. I kept my gaze on her and mind linked Axel, Matt and Kyle to meet me in my office in five minutes.

“The only way to stop our attack would be to sacrifice yourself” I repeated the words to myself then started walking towards her. She stood up and met me half way. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her into me tight.

“Baby I have to meet with Axel before he leaves just to finalize a few matters. I won’t be long”

“They’re leaving tonight? Emily said they’re staying till tomorrow” She looked at me questioningly.

“They’re leaving tomorrow baby but I have to meet with him tonight” I kissed her forehead “I won’t be long” I walked her back to where he friends were all gathered and kissed her softly before walking away to my office. Matt, Kyle and Axel were already there. I hated leaving her side but I didn’t want her finding out about the note or any of this. She has already been through enough and I’ll be a damned mother fucker if I let her get hurt again in any way.

“We received a threat tonight” I said as soon as I sat at my desk.

“From who?” Matt asked already tense. I wasn’t surprised he was first to react. Matt and Kyle both have been our Zetas for a while now. They have been the highest ranking warriors since they each turned twenty. They’re both truly remarkable fighters, ruthless on the battle field and precise at planning and leading attacks. Even though they rank fourth in our pack, they don’t answer to anyone but me, the alpha. They are in charge of the warriors and war plans. I have been thinking about making one of them Beta but I need to find a strong enough Zata replacement. One of them if not both will be my Beta for sure.

I showed them the note “Can’t this girl get a break hasn’t she had enough?” Kyle said mostly to himself He was getting angry fast. He loves Hope and I have to calm myself down, he’s my brother and he has a mate.

“That’s why I don’t want her to find out about this” I looked at him seriously

“That’s a threat to your Luna and your pack” Axel says “War is inevitable now”

“War with this b***h and her pathetic father has been inevitable for a long time” I sit down and run my hand through my hair then get up and pour myself a stiff drink. “The coward picked up and left out of the blue one day without any trace with help from Alex for sure.”

“Matt, I’m going to call the rest of our allies in here we have to be ready for war at any given minute the card said midnight tomorrow but that could also be a diversion to attack us when we least expect it. Get everyone ready now prepare for war as of this minute. By ten tomorrow if they haven’t attacked we go to the forest.”

The Enchanted Forest is where we annihilated the rogues. The b***h thinks she has the upper hand there because of the witch who dwell amongst the heavy trees. “We attack tomorrow.” I said looking at Kyle “The b***h isn’t planning to face Hope alone. Rogues and the mother fuckers from her pack will be there but so will we. Tomorrow we end this s**t on the battlefield.” I said slowly “I want hunters, trackers and healers with us”

An hour later after my office had been occupied by seven alpha’s the plan was set. Our allies were all willing ready to aid if necessary. Matt and Kyle had already alerted the warriors. And everyone knew what the orders were.

“Kyle” I called for his attention he was the last one to leave the office, he turned back and looked at me “Make sure to inform the warriors that I want Edward and Stephanie alive” My voice dark and chilling

“Done” he said before he turned around and left. I leaned back in my seat finishing off my drink when I picked up Hope’s scent very close. I walked over to the door just as she was about to knock.

“Are you going to tell me what’s going on or are you going to be sleeping in your old room alone from now on?” I furrowed my eyes at Zayn and folded my arms against my chest, he better tell me what’s going on.

“You think you can keep me out of our bedroom?” He growled with a grin on his face as he looked at me slyly.

“Tell me” I demanded his grin making my heart beat fast but this jerk better do some talking

“Maybe I have something else in mind” He said in a low sexy voice. He pulled me gently into his office and locked the door. I felt my cheeks heat up as I watched him slowly slide his hands down my shoulders and lick his lips.

“Zayn I’m not going to let you try to distract me and I’m not letting you have your way with me in your office” I warned him but oh my Goddess the way he’s looking at me right now makes my insides quiver with anticipation. But f course I had to be strong to find out what he’s up to

“How am I distracting you baby?” He asked as he started kissing my neck “I didn’t know I was a distraction”

“Zayn this can’t happen in here” I say but contradict my words by running my fingers through his hair.

“Why baby? the door is locked and this can happen in here or anywhere I want” He said so seductively

“But if you don’t want this you can tell me to stop” urghhh I wish I could punch him but he’s too irresistible. His needs become my own.

“I’ve been wanting to get my fiance alone all night” He pushed me against his desk and his hands find the side zipper of my dress and our lips crash together. He pulls my dress all the way down exposing the goosebumps that are flushed all over my skin. He moves back for a split second and eyes my body “f**k”
