I woke up to find my bedroom had been invaded by what seemed like a rainbow of tulips with radiant colors. The scent of tulips is food for my soul I jumped out of bed and picked up the nearest bouquet.

Today is my official Luna ceremony; I already had my dress picked out a white Patchwork one shoulder mini dress that my mother got as a gift for me when I first found my mate. I’m going to pair it with beige leather pumps. I’m hoping Zayn won’t give me too much trouble about the length of the dress.

Other than an invite that was sent out to each of our Alpha and Luna allies it would only be our pack. Still mom told me both the courtyard and Ball room would be decorated. I’m guessing the Ball room is where the Alpha will step down and announce Zayn as the new Alpha

Mom and dad were both down stairs “Honey are you getting ready here or at your place? Mom asked me while placing a k**s on my head

“I’m getting ready up at my place” I had breakfast with my parents every few minutes an omega would deliver a bouquet of flowers sent from friends or pack members congratulating me. Finally I told them to send the flowers to my private wing.

Hope and I were both getting ready in our room. She’s in her dressing room getting ready and I’m in the bedroom sitting on the couch waiting for her. I have the ring put away safely in my pocket.

“Baby I don’t want to rush you but we should be heading down soon”

She emerges in a one sleeve short white dress making my jaw drop. She’s wearing the necklace with matching earrings and bracelet I got her. Holy f**k. The dress accented her t**s and sun kissed skin making Hunter howl like a horny dog.

We headed straight for the Ball room hand in hand and when we walked in everyone clapped and cheered. Hope was glowing as she smiled and greeted her pack and guests. I’m so proud to have her. My mother came over

“Hope come I want to introduce you to a few friends” I watched her walk away with mom while I greeted our allies and pack members. Soon after my father announced his stepping down as Alpha of the Golden Moon Pack.

My father made a speech then My mother and finally Brian made a speech. Then everyone headed outside where the Luna ceremonial would take place. I was the last one to walk out when I spotted an omega carrying another bouquet of flowers walking over to Hope. The flowers were a very deep dark shade of black giving them a foul appearance. I walked quickly and called her over

“Alpha these were just delivered for the Luna”

“Who delivered them?” I asked her

“One of the security men said that a woman drove up to the gates and dropped them off” The flowers came with a card I pulled it out and stuffed it in my pocket when I saw Hope walk over

“That’s a weird color I’ve never seen black roses who are they from?” She asked

“I don’t know there’s no card” I lied my b***d stirring

“Are you okay?” She asked

“Yes baby” I kissed her head “let’s go”

“Put them by the elevator I’ll take them with me later” Hope said before we walked outside to the courtyard.

Gavin and his mate walked over and they both bowed then hugged Hope “Congratulations” Gavin said. I have a lot of respect for him for what he did for Hope but the fucker better not hug her again.

“How are you feeling” Hope asked I slipped my hand around her waist.

“Better thanks to you” He answered

I kissed the top of my baby’s head “Ready baby?”

“Yeah I am” I led her away to the middle of the courtyard. Everyone was quiet

“Welcome everyone to a night of celebration. Tonight we celebrate a selfless woman who was born and raised in this wonderful pack. A woman who has changed me for life. She helped me see the good in others, she helped me become a better man and the more time I spend with her the more I fall in love with her.” Hope was smiling at me “My pack tonight we celebrate our Luna Hope” The pack cheered and howled in pride and respect for their new Luna. I turned and looked her in the eyes then took the ring out of my pocket and got down on one knee. Her beautiful eyes went wide

“Baby thank you for accepting me and loving me. I still cannot believe that you are mine and I thank the Moon Goddess for giving me such a confident, capable, driven, beautiful mate like you. I want to make you mine in every way….Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”

She smiled at me with watery eyes and nodded yes. I raised an eyebrow at her “Yes I will marry you” I slipped the ring on her finger then stood up and cupped her face before kissing her softly. I wanted to taste her right here but I kept it short and gentle for the sake of our families. The whole pack erupted into cheers and howls. Our parents were first to congratulate us before mom pulled her away from me.

“You are one lucky man” Kyle said watching her I smacked him on the head

“Thank you” I wanted to read the card in my pocket but I had to make sure I was alone first. Hope walked over again and hugged me tight “I love you” she said

“I love you too” I told her as I handed her a drink “Drink then let’s dance” I whispered in her ear then bit down on her bottom l*p lightly and quickly. She quivered and I heard an ever so soft m**n making my c**k hard as f**k.

As soon as I became the Luna of this wonderful pack I felt a deep connection to each and every pack member. Like I suddenly knew all their names and their concerns became mine. I could feel the connection so strong it almost brought me to tears. They had so much love and respect or me. I expected they felt this way for the alpha family of course but when I experienced first hand how much they cared for me, I fell in love with this pack even more. They were my responsibility now I would make sure to connect with them all and help them out one by one just to see them smile.

I asked Zayn why is it I felt this way all of a sudden and he explained that this is a special connection unique and exclusively for Alphas and Lunas.

“Something is wrong what is it?” I asked him out of the blue.

“No baby nothing is wrong everything is right” He kissed me and now that our parents weren’t right next to us he kissed me hard.

“Get a room” Matt joked I laughed hiding my face in Zayn’s neck.

Our friends and family members were glowing with happiness for us and I had never felt this content and relaxed but what worried me was the fact that I was getting a weird vibe from Zayn he was bothered and anxious, he just asked me to marry him but there was something on his mind. Jenna sensed this too which confirmed my accusations that he was hiding something.

I will find out what it is but for now I wanted to enjoy our night.
