Chapter 854
Bradley always felt as though Esther hadn’t passed away—he maintained the belief that she might reappear in some country or
city at any moment.
“Clark, I aspire to build a business empire of my own,” Bradley confessed.
Upon receiving the equity transfer letter from the Warner Group, Bradley had observed that Felix was the designated transferee.
He had promptly signed it, acknowledging Felix as the future leader of the Warner Group under his vigilant gaze.
“You were once a celebrated figure with the Midas touch on Wall Street. You can certainly create another miracle of your own,”
Clark commented.
In addition to the Warner Group, Bradley owned undisclosed companies. These entities operated discreetly, shielding his identity,
which had facilitated the Warner Group’s swift response to Oliver’s initial suppression.
Bradley stood up, prepared to leave. “Clark, take care of yourself. I’ll visit you again soon.”
Clark warmly interjected, “Wait a moment.”
Maneuvering the wheelchair back to the bedroom, Clark retrieved a tablet and handed it to Bradley. “Here is the information I’ve
gathered. Take a look.”
Bradley sincerely thanked him. “Thank you, Clark.”
Pausing to observe Clark and Daphne bustling in the kitchen, Bradley added, “I’ll come to see you next time.”
“Perhaps by your next visit, I’ll be able to walk again.”
Clark escorted Bradley outside the garden.
When Daphne, wiping her hands, heard the car starting, she sweetly complained, “Clark, why didn’t you invite Mr. Bradley for
dinner at home? It’s his first visit, and we should properly entertain him.”
“He has other matters to attend to. Your cooking is delicious, and I’ll eat alone,” he said.
“If it weren’t for the Warners, we wouldn’t be where we are now. We should be grateful.”
“Yes, yes, my wife is right.”
Bradley overheard the conversation between Clark and Daphne. His heartbeat slowed, and thoughts of the beauty of marriage
emerged.
“Hold hands and grow old together”—from youthful years to silver-haired ones, what a beautiful vision!
Bradley’s eyes reddened slightly, and he pressed the call button, making a series of calls.
“Video conference at 8:00 p.m. tonight. Summarize your current tasks. I’m establishing a new company.”
Bradley drove while making calls. With the Warner Group already established, the new company couldn’t bear the same name.
So... what should his new company be called?
Esther’s name instantly came to Bradley’s mind. He parked the car on the side of the road and posted on social media: [In
memory, the name of the new company is “Esther Corp.”]
