MY HEART (REUNION OF LEO AND DEO)

Chapter THE SHOCKING INCIDENT

Just as Detective John shot Adewale in his left chest, the bullet went into his heart but Adewale felt no pain or even had the feeling that something went into him. Adetutu, uncle James, and Adewale were surprised and shocked that Detective John could shoot him, and when he shot Adewale.

Suddenly, the bullet came out of Adewale's left chest and fell to the ground then the hole in Adewale's left chest that was made by the bullet close up.

Detective John and everyone in the surveillance room were thunderstruck upon seeing the bullet that went in come out itself. Adetutu said with anger to Detective John ''I hope you will believe us with what has just happened''.

''Didn't..... I just shoot you in the heart? Ho.....h.... how come the bullet came out itself and you are still alive'' said Detective John (still in shock) to Adewale.

''Just like he has said before. He is a supernatural being and a god'' said uncle James to Detective John.

Detective John took the poison and was about to walk out of the room still in disbelief of what happened but stopped when Adewale said to him ''You can help us by letting us go, Detective. What you just saw is just the tip of an iceberg. If Fawrus comes here for her he will spare no one. He is a monster you can't possibly imagine''.

Detective John stared into Adewale's eyes as Adewale also stared at him, Then Detective John walked out of the room and went to his office.

Detective John's partner (Steven) saw what happened in the interrogation room and went to meet Detective John in his office. Steven said to Detective John ''What the hell just happened in there?'', as he entered Detective John's office still surprised at what he saw.

"I have no idea. I don't even know what made me pull the trigger'' said Detective John (still shocked and confused) to Steven, as Steven sat down on a chair opposite him.

''Is this some kind of a trick or magical show?'' said Steven (confused) to Detective John.

Detective John looked into Steven's eyes and said to him ''Does what happened look like a trick to you or a magical show? That was something unexplainable''.

''Don't tell me that you want to believe all that they said about them being some kind of gods. Such things don't exist in this real world, they can only be seen in movies'' said Steven to Detective John.

''Yeah, that's what we thought but now I don't know what to believe in anymore. Things that are weird and unbelievable are what happens around them. It seems like movies are becoming reality, and then the bullet again'' said Detective John (confused) to Steven.

''So what are you thinking we should do now since you want to believe them'' said Steven to Detective John.

''We are up against a supernatural being named Fawrus according to them and he has Adewale's face. This is the first in history we have heard of such thing and am thinking we should fight'' said Detective John to Steven.

''Fight? How are you even going to explain all this to the boss if you want us to fight?'' said Steven to Detective John.

''We are not telling the boss. They said Fawrus is coming for them and we will be waiting for him. When the boss leaves, I want this whole building crawling with officers, armed with guns, from the first floor to the 6th floor. Fawrus is said to be dangerous and a monster, we will show him what we are also made of" said Detective John to Steven.

''Since you want us to fight how do we fight? Am sure you witnessed what happened yourself in the interrogation room, the gun was useless against Adewale. If guns can be useless against Adewale it will be against this Fawrus. So how do we fight Fawrus?" Steven asked Detective John.

''That was a pistol right, arm everyone with a double barrel gun and we don't know if guns will be useless against Fawrus. We must kill or capture Fawrus'' said Detective John.

"Are you sure about this?" asked Steven.

"Yes, I am" said Detective John.

Adewale, uncle James, and Adetutu are now back in their cell. ''What happened in that room is something I would never believe if I was told'' said uncle James, still surprised.

''I was terrified when I saw the bullet go into Adewale's left chest, I thought he was gonna die'' said Adetutu, still surprised.

''Fawmus and Kuntapha were right. Human weapons are useless against us'' said Adewale.

''I told you so. We should have made a run when I said we should then we might not have ended up here'' said uncle James to Adewale.

''I did not even feel the pain of the bullet. It doesn't even feel like I was shot'' said Adewale (in disbelief).

''I guess that was why I got the astounding feeling from you. Not I get it, you were astounded that you didn't feel the pain of the bullet'' said Adetutu to Adewale.

''No wonder Fawrus and Fawmus didn't stop fighting or flinch on the trailer truck as they were being shot repeatedly. They also didn't feel the pain of the bullet but knew they were being hit'' said Adewale.

''You are right'' said Adetutu.

''If you both had believed and had faith in me we wouldn't be in this place right now'' said uncle James to Adewale and Adetutu.

''Uncle, we are the ones that can't be hurt by mortal weapons, not you. The gun would have killed you, it's just that you won't stay dead because of us. Right now our thought should be on how to get out of here. We have to persuade the Detective to let us go'' said Adewale.

''I don't think he will let us go, he still believes we are lying and playing some trick'' said Adetutu.

''He already believed us now. When he looked me in the eyes I could tell he now believed us and him shooting me just proved a point that we are a god that can't be killed by humans' weapons'' said Adewale.

''He still won't let us go if he believes all that we have said is true. He will wish to see Fawrus himself by keeping us here and wanting Fawrus to come for us. All we need now is for Fawmus to show up, he is the only one that can save us'' said uncle James.

8 PM

The whole station floor was crawling with police officers armed from the 1st floor to the 6th floor. The roads that also linked to the station were blocked and cleared off.

Uncle James, Adewale, and Adetutu were brought back to the interrogation room and they were seated down but not handcuffed. Detective John came in and sat down opposite them. Detective John said to the three of them ''have decided to believe all that you said. I and my men are waiting for Fawrus''.

Adewale smiled and said to Detective John ''I will give you some advice and it will be better to take heed of it so everyone in this building can make it out alive''.

''Okay am listening'' said Detective John to Adewale.

''Let us go and you will all be safe. Failure to do so will cost the lives of everyone here'' said Adewale to Detective John.

''If you said that to scare me it won't work. I am a police officer and my duty is to my country and the people. I will get rid of anything that poses a threat to my people and my society. So worry about yourselves and let me do my job by getting rid of Fawrus which you feared, not me'' said Detective John to the three of them, just then a policeman came in and handed over a double barrel gun to Detective John and left.

''Let him come, we are waiting'' said Detective John to the three as he placed the gun on the table.

''And you think this is going to kill him?'' said Adetutu to Detective John, referring to the gun.

''Yes, it will'' said Detective John.

''This gun can't kill him but may be able to slow him down or create holes in his body. Fawrus can't feel pain and be killed, just let us go'' said Adewale to Detective John.

''I can't'' said Detective John to the three of them.

''Okay, can we have the miniature bottle'' said Adewale to Detective John.

''No, I can't also'' said Detective John to Adewale, then suddenly the light in the station went off.

Immediately the light went off the backup light turned on but it wasn't like the real light. The elevator, CCTV, and some other things stopped working and some part of the building was still dark even with the backup light on.

Fear grips uncle James, Adewale, and Adetutu as the light off. Detective John radioed the police officers on guard outside with his walkie-talkie and asked if something unusual happened but they said no then he radioed some other police officers to check on why the light went off and get it back on.

Adewale (scared) said to Detective John immediately after he finished radioing ''This is Fawrus's hand work, he is here. Let us go please''.

''I don't think so, there is no sign of him'' said Detective John to Adewale.

''He can only be seen by specific people'' said Uncle James (sacred) to Detective John.

''What does that even mean?" Detective John asked the three of them.

''The only people that can see Fawrus and Fawmus are people they revealed themselves to, and they do that because they can't hurt people that can't see them'' said Adewale to Detective John.

''Then that's good if he can't hurt us because we can't see him'' said Detective John.

''If it was Fawmus it would be better, he would not hurt anyone. But Fawrus loves blood and loves to kill, he will reveal himself and kill everyone'' said Adewale (worried) to Detective John.

''Let him come'' said Detective John.

''Do you have a family?'' uncle James asked Detective John.

''Yes, I do. I have a sister'' said Detective John to uncle James.

''Don't you wanna go back home to her safely? Am sure you do, so please let us go'' said uncle James to Detective John.

''Please call off the police officers and your plan. Give us the poison and let us go'' said Adetutu to Detective John.

''I want to go home to her but I have to do my job. It ends tonight'' said Detective John to the three of them, just then the police officers that went to check on the light radioed in.

They said to Detective John that nothing was wrong with the light and they had no idea how to get it back on.
