SWNOVELS Chapter FAWRUS IS HERE
Detective John ordered the police officers who went to check on the light to leave the light and join the others. Detective John also radioed Steven and some other officers that they should be on guard because they wouldn’t be able to get the light back on.
While Detective John was speaking to the officers through the walkie-talkie, his back was facing Adewale, uncle James, and Adetutu. Adewale stood up from where he sat and silently took the double barrel gun on the table then pointed it at Detective John who was unaware. As Adewale took the gun, uncle James and Adetutu also stood up.
After Detective John was done talking to the police officers, he turned back and was surprised to see the three of them standing, and the gun pointed at him. Adewale said to Detective John ″let us go now″.
″And if I don’t. You are gonna shoot me or what″ said Detective John to Adewale.
″Yes, I will shoot you if I have to″ said Adewale to Detective John.
″This whole building is crawling with police officers. Even if a gun is useless against you, you still won’t be able to leave here. I don’t think you know anything about a fist fight and you don’t have what it takes to pull a trigger″ said Detective John to Adewale.
″He is not bluffing he will shoot you if you don’t let us go″ said uncle James to Detective John.
″I dare him to ........ If you can’t shoot the gun then drop the gun Adewale. You don’t want to add to your crimes″ said Detective John to Adewale.
“I never committed any crime” said Adewale out loud with anger to Detective John.
“Okay, but drop the gun” said Detective John to Adewale.
″Don’t drop it, A. Let’s take him as leverage to get out of here″ said Adetutu to Adewale.
″And you think am gonna let you do that? Drop the gun Adewale, and let us protect all of you″ said Detective John to Adewale.
″Don’t, Adewale″ said uncle James to Adewale.
“You can’t protect us why don’t you understand that? Fawrus will kill everyone here” said Adewale to Detective John.
″That is what you believe, not me. And you can’t get out of here even if you kill me″ said Detective John to the three of them.
″Maybe we should give it a trial″ said Adewale to Detective John.
″Then you will have to kill me to leave this room or drop the gun. Make a choice Adewale, I trust you are smart″ said Detective John to Adewale.
″Shoot him, Adewale″ said uncle James to Adewale.
Adewale holds the gun very firmly in his hand, debating on whether to shoot Detective John or drop the gun.
A sports car drove into the police station compound roughly and parked a few spaces from the 6 policemen guarding the police station compound. The 6 policemen pointed their guns at the car upon seeing it and the 1st policeman who was holding a torchlight turned the torchlight on and pointed at the car.
The 3rd of policeman said out loud ″Whosoever you are, step out of the car right now slowly with your hands in the air″.
The car door opened and a guy dressed in complete black came down from the car slowly and stood beside the car smiling as his hands were raised. The 2nd policeman said to the guy ″move away from the car slowly and your hands should remain in the air″.
The guy moved a little bit away from the car then the 6th and 5th policemen went to the guy and handcuffed him. The 1st policeman holding the torchlight checked inside the car using the torchlight and saw a body in the backseat. The 1st policeman took a closer look at the body in the backseat to see that the body’s heart had been ripped out and he nearly puked upon seeing that. The 1st policeman moved away from the car and told the other policemen, to come and see what he saw. The other policemen came and also saw the dead body and moved away from the car finding it irritating.
The 6 policemen moved the guy a few spaces away from the car as the guy kept on smiling then they pointed the torchlight at his face to get a clear view of who he was. The 6 policemen were all shocked to see Adewale’s face and they moved away from the guy. The 6 policemen pointed their guns at the guy then the 2nd policeman radioed Detective John.
Detective John was still standing telling Adewale to drop the gun when his walkie-talkie spoke, ″Detective, we have a situation down″ said a policeman.
″What’s going on?″ Detective John asked the 2nd policeman, as he raised the walkie-talkie close to his mouth.
″A guy with the criminal face is here″ said the 2nd policeman to Detective John
″Okay. Did he say anything?″ Detective John asked the 2nd policeman.
″No, but we found someone dead in his car backseat″ said the 2nd policeman to Detective John.
Detective John raised the walkie-talkie down from his mouth and asked Adewale, Adetutu, and uncle James ″someone with your face is here. How do we identify which one is it?″
Adewale, Adetutu, and Uncle James became more scared upon hearing that and Adewale dropped the gun on the table. Adewale said to Detective John ″you have just signed everyone’s death paper″.
Detective John took the gun and asked the three of them ″tell me how do we identify which one is it″.
″Fawrus love smiling while Fawmus don’t smile″ said Adetutu to Detective John.
Detective John raised the walkie-talkie close to his mouth and asked the 2nd policeman ″is he smiling right now?″.
″Yes sir, he is″ said the 2nd policeman to Detective John.
″That is Fawrus, shoot him″ said Detective John to the 2nd policeman and dropped the walkie-talkie on the table without disconnecting it.
Adewale, uncle James, Adetutu, and Detective John could hear the sound of gunshots at first from the walkie-talkie but later heard people screaming then nothing.
Detective John picked up the walkie-talkie from the table and said into it ″hello, can anyone hear me? Hello. Hello″, but there was no response from any of the 6 policemen guarding the police station compound so Detective John disconnected.
″No one can stop him″ said uncle James (worried) to Detective John.
″Please let us go. He will come after us if you let us go″ said Adetutu to Detective John.
″I can’t let you go even if I want to right now″ said Detective John to the three of them.
Detective John radioed Steven and said to him ″Fawrus is here and he seems to be a tough one. Tell everyone to go for his head. I want him dead″.
Steven delivered the message to all the police officers through the broadcasting room on the 6th floor.
Fawrus walks into the building carrying the body that was in his car backseat on his shoulder which he had ripped out its heart and which is Fawmus’s body. Just as Fawrus walked into the building, he sensed the whole place was full of police officers waiting for him armed with guns.
Fawrus dropped Fawmus’s body on the floor and said to the police officers on the 1st floor even though couldn’t see them ″give me a sec, am having trouble with my twin brother (Fawmus) because he can’t stay dead. Have killed him many times removing a human heart which he now has but he just keeps on growing back a new one, so........″.
Fawrus was cut short of words as he was shot in the head by a policeman. The force of the bullet going through Fawrus’s head tore half of Fawrus’s head and one eye open.
″I hate when people interrupt me″ said Fawrus (in anger), as his head and eye began to grow back then all the police officers fired their guns at him.
Fawrus’s whole body was torn by bullets released by the police officers and he fell dead. The police officers stop shooting Fawrus as he falls dead and move closer to him. The police officers saw Fawrus was dead and radioed Detective John and told him Fawrus was dead. Detective John asked the police officers if they were sure that Fawrus was truly dead and they said yes, then he told them to bring his body to him.
Detective John dropped the walkie-talkie on the table and said to Adewale ″Fawrus is dead, I thought you said he can’t be killed as long as you are alive″.
Adewale smiled and said to Detective John ″he is not dead, he is just playing around with them″.
The police officers were about to carry Fawrus’s dead body when his body faded away right in front of them and they all became shocked. Then a voice said to them ″you all really tried and you are all gonna die”.
The police officers were terrified upon hearing the voice and they all traced the direction of where the voice came from and were shocked to see Fawrus standing a few distances from them. They all became scared and pointed their guns at him.
Fawrus smiled as his eyes changed to red and said to the police officers ″let the fun begin″.
