SWNOVELS Chapter BRUTAL KILLING
The police officers all fired their guns at Fawrus but with Fawrus’s speed ability, Fawrus dodged every bullet they fired at him and then disappeared. The police officers stopped shooting when they could no longer see Fawrus again and began to look around for him ready to shoot him if they spotted him. Fawrus appeared behind the police officers unaware to them of his presence and ripped a police officer's head off, then he disappeared again.
Screams could be heard throughout the whole building as Fawrus took off the hands, heads, and hearts of the police officers on the first floor, and that got the other police officers in the building scared.
Fawrus killed every single one of the police officers on the first floor and then went to check on Fawmus. Fawrus kneeled beside Fawmus as he got to him and saw that Fawmus had just grown a new heart and the hole in Fawmus' left chest had closed up.
Fawmus opened his eyes and saw Fawrus and then speedily tried to insert his hand into Fawrus's left chest to rip out his heart but Fawrus held Fawmus' hand and said to him ''sorry mate, you have to go back to sleep. You will only become a disturbance to me if you are awake''.
Then Fawrus inserted his right hand into Fawmus's left chest and took out Fawmus's newly grown heart, Fawmus died again. Fawrus held Fawmus by his cloth and began to drag him along as he walked to the 2nd floor whistling, and as he passed through the dead police officers' bodies.
After hearing screaming that came from the first floor and the screaming stopped, Detective John tried to get in touch with the police officers on the 1st floor but no one responded which made him angry, and hit the table hard.
Uncle James said to Detective John ''are you going to continue losing your men because of us when you could do the right thing'', but Detective John gave no response to Uncle James.
''You are a Detective and you can't even protect your men, how are you going to protect us? You don't seem to understand what's going on. This is not some kind of criminal case you always solved, this is more than that. Fawrus is more powerful and a lot smarter than you think. You think this station is an impregnable fortress but to Fawrus, it is just an open field. Fawrus will kill everyone if you don't let us go'' said Adewale to Detective John.
''If you let us go Fawrus will follow us and you will all be safe'' said Adetutu to Detective John.
''I can't let you go even if I want to. This building only has one entrance which is the main entrance and since we can't get the light back on the elevator won't be working and we can only take the stairs. And if we do take the stairs we will encounter Fawrus. We know he is coming here and the stairs are what he will also be using'' said Detective John to the three of them.
''Holy shit, this is bad'' said uncle James, hearing there is no way they are escaping.
''It is much worse than you think. There is no way out of here and there is no way to call for help. We will have to face Fawrus even if it means we are gonna die'' said Detective John.
Fawrus took the stairs to the 2nd floor and stopped getting closer to the 2nd floor. Fawrus created two split ones and ordered them to go to the 2nd floor. Just as the 2 split ones stepped onto the 2nd floor they were shot to death then they faded away.
The police officers on the 2nd floor were ready to shoot anything or anyone who walked into the 2nd floor.
Fawrus felt the 2 split ones were dead and let go of Fawmus. Fawrus split himself into six and walked to the 2nd floor with them. Just as Fawrus and the 5 split ones enter the 2nd floor, the police officers fire their guns at them but they dodge the bullets using their speed power still, the bullets hit some of the split ones.
The police officers were shooting the 5 split ones and Fawrus but their bullets only hit some of the split ones because they were very fast and their healing ability was fast too. The police officers were able to kill 2 of the split ones before they were all killed screaming in pain, by Fawrus and the other split ones.
The remaining split ones fixed back with Fawrus, then Fawrus went to check on Fawmus to see Fawmus had grown another new heart. Fawrus took the heart out and dragged Fawmus along with him as he began his journey to the 3rd floor.
Fawrus killed the police officers both on the 3rd and 4th floor, and they all died screaming in pain. Blood could be seen all over Fawrus' body as he smiled like a madman.
All remaining police officers were terrified and some trembling in fear as they awaited Fawrus.
Detective John was hurt by the screaming of the police officers he had been hearing. Detective John said to himself sadly and furious ''am fucking losing the whole team''.
Uncle James said to Detective John "I thought we told you that he is not a human. Fawrus kills for fun but you didn't listen''.
''I think I need to go out there to help my men'' said Detective John to them, and wanted to leave but he stopped hearing Adewale say to him ''Going out there will only get you killed''.
'It is better I die fighting with my men than stay here like a coward'' said Detective John to Adewale.
''Then choose one. Will you stay here and save them or go out there and die with them?'' Adewale asked Detective John.
''Save them? What do you mean?'' Detective John (confused) asked Adewale.
''Do you have a room, like a broadcasting room?'' Adewale asked Detective John.
''Yes, we do have a small broadcasting room next to the surveillance room. We use it to broadcast an announcement to the officers, and why ask about that?'' Detective John asked Adewale as he turned to him.
''Don't tell me you wanna talk to Fawrus?'' said Adetutu to Adewale, realizing that is why Adewale asked about the broadcasting room and what she was feeling from him.
''Yes, I want to talk to him'' said Adewale to Adetutu, uncle James was surprised upon hearing that.
''And you think that demon will listen to whatever you wanna say?'' said Adetutu to Adewale.
''Yes, he will. Take us to the room'' said Adewale to Detective John.
"This is a bad idea, Adewale" said uncle James to Adewale.
"I know but we have to do something to help everyone or they will be killed" said Adewale to uncle James.
''I will take you there but am not sure if the microphone or the speaker will still be working'' said Detective John to Adewale.
"Okay" said Adewale.
The four of them went into the surveillance room to see the CCTV dead and then went to the broadcasting room. Detective John hit the head of the microphone in the broadcasting room to see if it was still on and luckily it made a sound.
Detective John said to Adewale ''It is still alive. You can say whatever you want to say, the whole people in the building will be hearing''.
Adewale sat down on a chair in front of the microphone and said into the microphone ''hello, Fawrus''.
Fawrus was on his way to the 5th floor when he heard his name from the speakers, then he stopped.
''I know you can hear me and I know what you are here for….. and you can get it without bloodshed. Deo in exchange for everyone in the building alive'' said Adewale into the microphone.
Fawrus returned to the 4th floor still dragging Fawmus along after he heard what Adewale said.
Uncle James and Detective John were surprised when Adewale said that. Uncle James said to Adewale ''are you crazy, how could say such a thing''.
''If Fawrus wants Adetutu why would you wanna give her to him in exchange for everyone's life?'' said Detective John to Adewale.
''That is because this is the only way Fawrus will let all the officers live'' said Adetutu to uncle James and Detective John.
Uncle James was shocked to hear Adetutu say that to Fawrus. ''You have got to be joking right now. Are you going to allow him to hand you over to Fawrus?'' said uncle James to Adetutu.
''He is not giving me to him am surrendering myself'' said Adetutu to uncle James.
''Are you both crazy, he will kill you, Adetutu. How could you give yourself up in exchange for the officers' life? If they die their death is on the Detective's hands not us because we warned him'' said uncle James to Adetutu and Adewale.
''Fawrus won't kill her, uncle. He needs me also to be able to transfer her heart to me. This means we still have a chance to destroy Fawrus and we can't let those people die because the detective didn't listen to us. That is not who we are, uncle. We can't let them die, uncle. Everyone deserves a second chance'' said Adewale to uncle James.
Uncle James gave no response but wasn't happy with Adewale’s and Adetutu's decision
''Thank you. Thank you so much for wanting to save everyone'' said Detective John to Adetutu and Adewale, surprised that they could help everyone.
''It's okay'' said Adewale.
''Hello, Leo'' Fawrus's voice came out of the speaker.
