MY HEART (REUNION OF LEO AND DEO)

Fawrus's voice came out of the speaker which got uncle James, Adewale, Adetutu, and Detective John shocked. Adewale asked Detective John ''is there another broadcasting room in the building?''. 

''No, there isn't'' said Detective John.

''Then how come his voice is coming out from the speakers?'' Adewale asked Detective John.

''I have no idea'' said Detective John.

''You might be wondering how come my voice is coming out of the speakers without any microphone. Just know my power allows me to be able to do that. I see you want to bargain with me but the problem is, I don't bargain with people because I always get what I want whenever I want it but I might make an exception with you because you are my maker'' Fawrus's voice came out of the speakers.

Fawrus was seated on a chair on the 4th floor and Fawmus was seated beside him on another chair. Fawrus changed the color of his eyes back to normal.

''Deo in exchange for everyone's lives'' said Adewale to Fawrus, through the microphone.

''Okay, let her speak for herself'' said Fawrus to them.

Adewale let Adetutu move closer to the microphone to speak to Fawrus. Adetutu said to Fawrus ''will you let everyone go if I surrender myself?”.

Fawrus smiled upon hearing that and asked Adetutu ''will you really surrender yourself to keep everyone safe from me?''.

''Yes, I will'' said Adetutu to Fawrus.

Fawrus laughed upon hearing Adetutu say that and they heard him laughing through the speakers and wondered why he was laughing, Fawrus stopped laughing and said to Adetutu ''whether you surrender yourself or not, Deo, I will still get to you because there is no way anyone is escaping this building without my permission. This means even if I don't agree to this exchange I will still get to you, so I don't see how is this a bargain. Why don't I just kill every one of them and take you''.

Hearing those words made all the remaining police officers terrified. Adewale, uncle James, Detective John, and Adetutu didn't know what response to give to what Fawrus said.

Detective John (worried) said ''he doesn't have any humanity in him''.

''Welcome to our world'' said uncle James to Detective John.

''Fawrus is right though. Whether Adetutu surrenders or not, he is still going to have her'' said Adewale to uncle James, Adetutu, and Detective John, after he moved away from the microphone.

''So what are you going to do Fawrus?'' Adetutu asked Fawrus.

Just then Fawrus saw Fawmus grow a new heart and he said to Adetutu ''just a sec''. Fawrus pulled out Fawmus's new heart and then answered Adetutu ''am going to kill them all''.

''I knew he would not agree to anything. He is a monster and death itself. How can you even think of bargaining with him?'' said uncle James to Adetutu and Adewale.

Then Fawrus's voice came out of the speaker ''but I will spare them if Detective John surrenders himself also''.

Detective John was surprised that Fawrus knew his name. Detective John moved closer to the microphone and said to Fawrus ''how did you know my name?''.

''Have been on your tail since the day I saw you at the hospital when those three escaped. And I would like to say the word thank you to you, for helping me corner those three'' said Fawrus to Detective John.

Detective John, Adewale, Adetutu, and uncle James were all confused upon hearing Fawrus say that. Detective John asked Fawrus ''what are talking about?''

''You were part of my plan, Detective. If you could remember clearly, Detective, the guy that came to report a stolen laptop to you right here in the station…. that was me. I was walking when I saw a guy acting crazy then I tapped into his memories to see what was truly wrong with him because I was bored. I find out it was Fawmus who messed with his brain and mind to steal his bag which his laptop was in. I came to the police station using the guy's image and explained how the laptop was stolen weirdly and also identified who stole it knowing you would track the laptop.

I know with Fawmus by their side they won't be easy to capture for you. So I distracted him away from them and set a trap for him which he fell into and you were able to catch them and bring them to the station. I know you will never release them no matter what they say because their words will sound illogical to you. And I have gone through your history, John. Have seen that everyone respects and loves you, and one thing I like about you is that, you will never leave a case unsolved. That’s why I chose you for my plan. And thank you once again'' said Fawrus to Detective John.

Detective John was shocked and angry upon hearing all that Fawrus said to him.

''Do you just hear what he said? Fawrus used you in a way no one could have thought about'' said uncle James (annoyed) to Detective John.

''We told you Fawrus is the real deal. He is the devil himself. You thought you were solving a case while he was using you to get to us and you did get us. Now, here we all are in an open field'' said Adewale to Detective John.

''So this bastard could be cunning'' said Detective John, as he moved away from the microphone.

Detective John radioed Steven to tell the remaining police officers to retreat to the 6th floor. All the remaining police officers retreated to the 6th floor, then Detective John had a conversation with them. Detective John said to all the police officers ''am sorry everyone. I had pushed most of the officers to death because of my ignorance. I don't deserve to be called a Detective. I have failed you all and brought death to everyone. Am sure you all heard what Fawrus said and I have decided to go to him to save everyone from getting killed by him''.

All the police officers were sad to hear that. ''I don't think you should give yourself up, we all should fight till death'' said Steven to Detective John.

''No, Steven. This is my mess and am ready to clean it up. We already lost a lot of us tonight not anymore. I want everyone remaining to go back home to their family safe and sound which was what I didn't think through before I ordered an attack on a demon. So I will go to him''.

''What if he kills you?'' a policewoman asked Detective John.

''So be it. As long as he fulfills his promise in keeping you all alive'' said Detective John.

''What do you want me to tell your sister?'' Steven asked Detective John.

''Tell her I love her and am sorry'' said Detective John to Steven.

The remaining police officers all thanked Detective John for willing to give up himself to save them and they all hugged him pitifully. The police officers also thanked Adetutu and Adewale for bargaining with Fawrus on their behalf.

Detective John, Adewale, Uncle James, and Adetutu began to walk through the stairs to Fawrus. Upon getting to the 4th floor, fear gripped the four of them as they saw the dead bodies of the police officers killed by Fawrus torn apart all over the place, and could smell death all over the place. That made everyone really believe that Fawrus is truly a monster and death itself.

The four of them met Fawrus seated on a chair and Adetutu, uncle James, and Adewale were surprised to see Fawmus seated on another chair beside Fawrus and a hole in his left chest. Detective John was surprised to see that Fawrus and Fawmus looked exactly like Adewale and it felt like he was dreaming but it made him believe all that they said was true.

The four of them stopped and stood a few paces from Fawrus. Fawrus said to them with a smile ''welcome everyone''.

''You want the Detective and Deo. Here they are you can take them'' said Adewale to Fawrus.

''Yes, I do. But I don't why you will willingly give Deo to me just to save the police officers?'' Fawrus asked Adewale.

''That is because am human with feeling not a monster like you'' said Adewale to Fawrus.

“Feelings! I guess that is a human word. Don't you know emotion is what weakens a human'' said Fawrus.

''We don't care about that. What have you done with Fawmus?'' uncle James asked Fawrus.

''As you can see I ripped out his heart so he doesn't disturb me'' said Fawrus.

Adewale, uncle James, and Adetutu were surprised upon hearing that. Adetutu asked Fawrus ''how come he has a heart?''.

''He is becoming human just like I am, but removing his heart won't make him stay dead. His heart keeps growing a new one so I have to keep removing it all over and over again'' said Fawrus with a smile.

''What do you want with me?'' Detective John asked Fawrus.

Just in the blink of an eye, Fawrus was standing in front of Detective John and that got the Detective startled and scared. ''There is a question I want to ask you, Detective'' said Fawrus to Detective John.

''Which is?'' Detective John asked Fawrus.

''Who are you?'' Fawrus asked Detective John, which got everyone confused.
