MY HEART (REUNION OF LEO AND DEO)

Chapter SECOND APPEARANCE

TWO WEEKS LATER

Adetutu was being pursued by some group of guys all dressed in black. Adetutu ran through the woods as fast as her leg could carry her frightened and terrified to get away from the guys coming after her. Adetutu kept on running till she came across a small house in the woods and ran toward the house. Upon getting to the house, Adetutu bangs the door frightened without looking back as she shouted repeatedly ″help″, and looked back repeatedly whether the guys are still coming after her.

The door house was opened and Adetutu was surprised by who opened the door. Adetutu said surprisingly “A”, to see Adewale.

″Can I help you?″ asked the guy who open the door.

Adetutu was confused that Adewale asked if he can help her. Adetutu said to Adewale ″It’s me, Adetutu″, and Adetutu looked back to see if was she still being pursued but saw no one and face Adewale back.

″Am sorry I don’t know you and am sure my name is not Adewale, but you can come in if you need help″ said the guy claiming not to be Adewale.

Adetutu was shocked and confused that Adewale said he doesn’t know her and claimed that he is not Adewale but still, she went into the house with him.

The guy sat Adetutu down in the living room and went to get her a glass of water then sit with her. Adetutu asked the guy “Are you really not Adewale?”

The guy smiled and said to Adetutu “am hundred percent sure that I am not Adewale. I know who I am”

″You know you look like someone I know″ said Adetutu to the guy.

″Maybe, but my name is Fawrus if you are curious″ said the guy.

″Your name is quite funny. Mine is Adetutu″ said Adetutu.

″So what brought you here into the woods? I think I also heard you screaming the word help″ said Fawrus.

″To be sincere, I don’t know how I got here all I know is that I was being pursued by men dressed in black″ said Adetutu.

″Do you know why they are after you?″ asked Fawrus.

″No, but I am pretty sure they were going to hurt me″ said Adetutu.

Fawrus stood up and walked a little bit forward his back facing her then said to Adetutu ″you should have let them catch you″.

That statement got Adetutu confused then she asked ″what?″, trying to understand what Fawrus meant by his words.

″Because I will do you more harm than they will″ said Fawrus, and turned back to Adetutu showing to her the color of his eyes which are now red and flame all over his body.

Adetutu saw what Fawrus had become and became scared then she ran to the front door. Upon getting to the door, Adetutu couldn’t open the door because it was locked and Fawrus began to walk to her. Adetutu kept on trying to open the door as Fawrus walked to her but she couldn’t.

Adetutu became more scared as Fawrus get to her and said to him ″Please don’t hurt me″.

Fawrus placed his left hand beside her ear on the door and leaned his face forward (very close to her face), Adetutu’s heart was beating very fast like a moving train.

″You stole him from me. He was mine″ said Fawrus angrily to Adetutu.

″I have no idea about who you are talking about. Please don’t hurt″ Adetutu (terrified) plead to Fawrus.

″Am coming to get him back ’cause he is mine only and to do that you have to die″ said Fawrus (with a smile) to Adetutu.

″I don’t understand you. You are supposed to be someone that will never hurt me″ said Adetutu terrified.

″Well am not. Remember am coming for you and say hi to Leo for me″ said Fawrus, and give a mischievous smile. Fawrus Inserted his hand into Adetutu’s left chest and pull out her heart.

Adetutu woke up screaming out so loud and that scream woke everybody in the house. Adewale woke up by the screaming and Immediately he woke up he felt a pain in his chest, it felt like his heart was pulled out. Adewale knew that feeling was from Adetutu so he got up immediately from bed and ran to Adetutu’s room.

Adewale opened the door and went in then he saw Adetutu sited up on the bed but she was sweating profusely and both of her hands on her chest. Adewale went to meet Adetutu on the bed and hold her cheeks with his hand then said to Adetutu ″hey, hey, look at me. It is just a nightmare″, just then uncle James walked into the room with his family.

Adetutu looked at Adewale and saw the face of Fawrus then she became frightened, removed Adewale’s hand from her cheeks, and moved away from him. Adetutu (scared) to said Adewale ″Get away from me″.

″What’s wrong, A?″ Adewale (confused) asked Adetutu, uncle James and his family were also confused.

″Get away from me″ said Adetutu, as she threw the pillows at Adewale.

Seeing what happened, Jay’s mum and uncle James’ wife had to go meet Adetutu to calm her down while uncle James left the room with Adewale and the kids.

SOME HOURS LATER

Uncle James and Adewale were talking in the living room when Adetutu step into the living room. Adewale was the first to see Adetutu and stared at her making uncle James notice her presence. Adetutu stood staring at uncle James and Adewale for some seconds before deciding to take a sit alone.

There was silence in the room as they all looked at each other then Adetutu broke the silence. Adetutu said to Adewale ″am sorry, I didn’t mean to react like that toward you, it just.....″.

Adetutu was cut short of words as Adewal cut in ″it’s okay. The dream scared you. You thought I was the same guy in your dream and It felt like your heart was pulled out. You know I can feel that too″ said Adewale to Adetutu.

″But you shouldn’t have acted like that toward him. You should know you are safe around us, especially him″ said uncle James to Adetutu.

″I know he will always protect me which is what he thought about every day, but it was him I saw in my dream. He has these red eyes and flames all over his body, and he rip out my heart″ said Adetutu scared.

Hearing that got uncle James and Adewale confused. Uncle James said to Adetutu ″you saw Adewale and he ripped your heart out? That is a joke. Tell me more about the dream″.

″Not him actually, but the person has his face. He said his name is Fawrus and that I took something from him so he is coming for me″ said Adetutu.

Adewale was shocked by the name he heard from Adetutu because he still remembers clearly the name Mr. Martin couldn’t completely tell him before he dies. Adewale asked Adetutu ″what did you say his name was again″.

″Fawrus, according to him″ said Adetutu.

Hearing that name again made becomes worried. ″If his name is truly Fawrus then this isn’t just a mere dream, uncle″ said Adewale worried.

″What are you talking about?” uncle James asked Adewale.

″Adetutu is in danger, uncle″ said Adewale.

″Would you please explain″ uncle James said to Adewale.

.

″Dad told me before he died that I needed to protect A from someone if I don’t want the person to take her from me. Dayd wanted to tell me the person’s name but couldn’t, but Dad manage to pronounce three alphabets which are ″F.a.w″. And now that she said someone with the name Fawrus that has my face threatened her in her dream. Don’t you think she really in danger″ said Adewale.

″I don’t think she is. You were just given three alphabets that could end with any other alphabets. And she came home last night drunk as usual, who is to tell that she can’t have such a dream? And again she saw you, not someone else. Which means it was her mind that conjured whatever she saw. Your dad didn’t say the person that was coming for her would look like you right″ said uncle James to Adewale.

″Okay, but listen to this. The night you told me to find her, I saw someone that actually look like me and he said to me “Thank you” ″ said Adewale to uncle James.

″Which maybe you wanting to meet you which he does″ said uncle James to Adewale.

Adetutu remember that night and said ″Thanks to him that night he save me from those guys″.

Uncle James and Adewale were confused when Adetutu said that. Adewale said to Adetutu ″I save you? No, I didn’t do that″.

″What do you mean? Even though my vision was blurred I saw you when you carried me″ said Adetutu to Adewale.

″No, I didn’t carry you. You were drunk so you should know I will be too. Uncle stopped me from going out to save you and went instead″ said Adewale to Adetutu.

″And I didn’t save you because I met you asleep in the car when I got there and I told Adewale that he was wrong about you being kidnapped by some guys″ said uncle James.

Adetutu was confused by Adewale and uncle James’ words and said ″wait, don’t make me an idiot I remembered everything clearly. I was kidnapped to be raped and was saved by Adewale″.

″Or not by me, but by someone that has my face. Something is going on, uncle″ said Adewale.

″Something definitely is. And this dream doesn’t feel like a dream. It felt so real like my heart was truly pulled out″ said Adetutu.

″If you both are telling the truth then they must be someone that truly looks like Adewale who wants to hurt you and everyone in the process. We are all in danger″ said uncle James worried.

Adewale and Adetutu became anxious upon hearing that then Adetutu asked uncle James ″In danger? Should I be worried?″.

″Not worried but scared. We have to leave this house right now″ said uncle James scared.

″Has it gotten to that?″ Adewale asked uncle James.

″We could just go the police and report that someone that looks like Adewale is threatening us″ said Adetutu worried and scared.

″Are you dumb? Go to the station and tell them what? Someone you both saw in the state of unconsciousness is coming for you and everyone. Who is going to believe that? You guys may know nothing but you should be scared″ said uncle James to Adewale and Adetutu.

″Because you are or what″ said Adewale to uncle James.

″I think you should because he look scary in my dream″ said Adetutu to Adewale.

″But you didn’t believe any of this stuff when we were talking earlier″ said Adewale to uncle James.

″And now I do. We need to run″ said uncle James (worried) to Adewale.

″Is there something you are not telling us″ said Adewale to uncle James.

″If you want to hear anything from me we need to be ave this house first because we are not safe here anymore″ said uncle James (scared) to Adewale, and stood up and then went to meet his family.

Adewale and Adetutu wondered what is it that is truly going on except for the guy that has Adewale’s face and for making uncle James look very much scared.

Uncle James, Adewale, and uncle James’ family all packed out of the house and set out to another place, but uncle James dropped his family off with a guy and told the guy not to tell him where he is taking his family and that he will call him when he is done, uncle James said goodbye to his family.

Seeing what uncle James did that got Adewale and Adetutu more worried and wondered how he could do such a thing and that is Uncle James really that scared.

As uncle James drives the car while Adewale and Adetutu at the back seat, uncle James thought the person both Adewale and Adetutu saw might be one of the memories Adewale that killed his brother and that he is here to have revenge for not letting them know who they are and to let them know who they are. Uncle James also thought maybe this is the moment his late brother talked about.

NIGHT

Uncle James, Adewale, and Adetutu went to a house owned by Mr. and Mrs. Martin outside the city. They settled down and Adetutu made dinner.

There was silence in the dining room as they all eat but uncle James wasn’t eating cause he was thinking about what to do. Uncle James was only romancing the food with the spoon instead of eating and Adewale and Adetutu noticed. Adewale said to uncle James ″Uncle, you mind telling us what is going on″.

“Nothing is going on” lied uncle James.

″I still don’t understand why you will leave your family with someone without wanting to know where he is taking them″ said Adetutu (puzzled) to uncle James.

″That is the only way to keep them safe from whatever is going on″ said uncle James.

″You being scared makes it seems like you know what is going on more than we do″ said Adewale to Uncle James.

″You should both be scared just like I am″ said uncle James.

″Scared of what actually. You are not telling us anything″ said Adetutu to Uncle James.

″You want to know right? Whosoever he is Fawrus or what is related to both of you in some ways″ said uncle James.

″And how is that possible?″ asked Adewale.

″I don’t know but he has your face. Which means he is related to you both″ said uncle James.

″You seriously need to tell us what going on, uncle. It truly now seems you were hiding things from us″ said Adetutu.

″You both think I should be the one talking but I think you both should be the one talking. Why don’t you both tell me who the hell is Fawrus″ shouted uncle James in anger.

″How will I know him? I told you I saw him in my dream″ said Adetutu.

″And I when I was trying to find her″ said Adewale.

″Okay, maybe this will make you both remember who the hell is Fawrus. now listen to me.....″ said uncle James.
