Little bites, alpha(to be taken down for editing)

I fell into a light nap as soon as I ignored the voice of Abigail from wherever it came from. I let myself rest without thinking too much about how my whole life was about to change for the third time. I really thought getting away from the pack was going to be my final big event but this so-called war is going to be so much more. I just didn't want to lose any of the people I now love to this war. Not even my annoying mate. I hate that my presence was bringing them this much issue to deal with. There was no one to tell this to because they will all have a way to assure me that it was no issue to them protecting me. I wasn't even a member of the pack yet.

“Hey” I heard Lucian whisper silently tapping me gently. I groaned turning slowly before facing him.

“Hmm”

“It’s time to see them. If you're too tired we can do this tomorrow. I really don't want you stressed about this. We will get through it.” He assured me. I smiled sitting up.

“I’m not too tired. I'd read love to get this over with” I confessed.

“Ok then. You should clean up” He added on his way out.

I washed my face in the bathroom, dabbed my face with the towel before applying a little moisturiser on my face. I wore a black leggings and a small top to compliment it. I left the room.

"I thought they were coming here," I said as soon as I got to the dining only to meet Lucian waiting for her.

"No," He said. I nodded and followed him.

Lucian placed his hands on my lower back as we walked out of the packhouse to his parents' place. I could feel the stare of various pack members on me but I ignored it. Most of them still didn't know who I was despite months of being here. It didn't bother me that Lucian and I have not gone further with our relationship. We need to understand ourselves before we allow external contributions. The role of a Luna will not be easy and I am not going to let our underdeveloped relationship make things harder for me.

"What are you thinking about," Lucian asked leaning closer to my neck letting his hot breath fan on my skin. I took a sharp breath unable to breathe with him being so close to me. I moved out of his hold slowly replying to him,

"Uhm_us" I answered truthfully. Probably understanding the effect he had on me Lucian moved closer but he didn't move too close which I was grateful for.

"Us? What about us?" He teased.

"How far we have come. It's really amazing how far we've come" I didn't entirely tell him the truth but I wasn't lying about what I said.

"We've really come a long way and I am happy I took this journey with you" I flashed him a wide smile seeing that was the only thing I could do without sounding stupid.

Lucian’s hand found the lower part of my back as soon as we got to the door. I stared up at him in shock. I thought he understood! He was wearing a cocky smile. He knows! I frowned at him only causing him to laugh. I rarely heard him laugh. Seeing him being so carefree and happy around me did a number on me. It makes me happy too.

"Come in," His mum said. We hadn't even knocked. How did she know we were outside? Lucian pushed the door opened and stepped aside for me to enter.

"Thank you" I whispered walking in to be pulled into a big hug by his mum. She kissed my face.

"How are you, Raina?" She asked sounding very excited which really confused me. Did something happen? I looked over at Lucian for help but he only shrugged.

"Good afternoon" I flashed her a smile. His dad moved closer to us and I bowed to greet him. He pulled me into a hug instead. We all went to sit in the sitting room to talk.

"Would you like anything?" I nodded, no. She went to the kitchen and came back with a bowl of cookies and juice.

"Lucian says the vision took a toll on you, you should eat" She Instructed. I appreciated the care so I smiled as I picked a cookie and munched it with my teeth.

"That's good. You should eat up before we start this discussion" She said pulling the Alpha away with her.

"I told you I was fine," I told Lucian as soon as his parents left.

"I know but mum wasn't having any of that. She's right you need to eat. We shouldn't even be having this conversation today"

"I'm fine Lucian" My tone was harder this time he sighed. He loved being close to me.

"I know. I'm just looking out for you" He explained.

"I know and I appreciate it but you need to trust me when I say I'm fine"

"I will, it's a promise. Eat up Raina" I laughed.

"I thought I was escaping that" He laughed along with me.

"No love. Never" I stopped laughing as soon as I heard what he said. Don't overthink this Raina. You both are obviously attracted to each other. Does it mean he's in love with me? No no he can't be. Can he? Jeez, why did he have to say that? Lucian realizing what was going on pulled me into a comforting hug.

"Calm down Raina. No rush here. I just want to take care of you and see that you're genuinely happy being with me" He assured. I nodded slowly. I found it hard to do anything so Lucian helped me eat and I leaned towards him to rest.

"Hmmm_" I groaned opening my eyes.

"You're awake" Lucian smiled. I hurriedly Sat up looking everywhere.

"I slept!" I groaned.

"Hey hey. We know you needed it." He assured me.

"You could have woken me up" I accused. He had a small smile on his perfectly sculptured face.

"And take that innocent look away from your face? Not a chance" He joked.

"I feel like I overslept already"

"You barely slept for two hours," He told me.

"Two hours?! That's a lot"

"Dinner will be ready in a few hours. We can talk about the war then."

"I should help your mum then" I moved to stand up. Lucian held me down by my waist.

"You'll stay up here with me and relax" I rolled my eyes at his command.

"You can't tell me what to do" I argued back moving to stand up again. He was already on his knees, his knees on each side of my body on the bed. My whole face flushed at the closeness Lucian moved his hand to my throat and kept it there leaning down to kiss me. I initially wanted to fight him off but decided against it. I wanted this kiss as much as he did. His kisses were slow and torturous. Hot and breathtaking.

"Hmm" I couldn't get anything out so I just kept kissing him moaning as he moved his slow torturous kisses lower. He stopped exactly close to my breasts moving away from me.

"I think we should help in the kitchen after all" He smirked adjusting his shirt. I got down from the bed quickly walked to this figure sitting on the bed with his legs down. He looked up at me wondering why I was standing.

"What_?" I didn't let him finish his sentence when I held my hand to his neck pushing him down. He let out a surprised laugh as I got on him tracing my hands slowly until I got to his pants. Moving my hands everywhere else except where I knew he really wanted them I stood up.

"I think I am ready to go now" I walked out quickly because I knew I was going to lack self-control being that close to him for another minute.

I was adjusting my top which was already all the way up when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry" I murmured without looking up.

"It's fine" I looked up embarrassed that his mum caught me. I didn’t do anything yet I felt so bad. His mum on the other hand was smiling so hard. Gosh.

"Dinner will be ready in thirty minutes. You've got time" She suggested. I was about to disagree with her when I heard his voice behind me.

"You underestimate me, mum. Thirty minutes isn't enough for what I have planned" kill me now. I groaned turning to glare at him which only got me a smile in return. His mum just laughed and left. As soon as she left I punched him.

"You didn't have to say that!" I groaned.

"Do you really thirty minutes will cover everything I have planned for us?" I turned away to walk away when he pulled me back.

"I love seeing you flushed with embarrassment whenever I tease you" He laughed.

"And I don't"

"You secretly love it" He held my hands as we walked back to the dining area.

I helped his mum set the table. We were done really quick. We sat to start dinner.

"So Raina what did you see?" His dad broke the silence.

"Uhm_ a lady, woman I couldn't really tell told me I had to get ready for the BLENHEIM," I said. I knew Lucian already filled them in so there was no need to get into details.

"That is Abigail. The wife of Angus. They are known around all of the were race for their success in the last BLENHEIM" His mum explained.

"What's my relationship with her? I can't understand why I was chosen"

"There are always secrets. We can't really know why. You have to be in her bloodline somehow to get chosen." She continued.

"By bloodline, we mean very closely related" The Alpha added. This getting nowhere.

"What I'm I supposed to do now. She only told me to find the family heirloom."

"Lucian mentioned it was a sword. Is that right?" Alpha asked.

"Yes," Lucian answered.

"What else?"

"She also said something about finding some things that are with three different supernatural beings," I explained further.

"The sword is usually guarded by the witches, the seers who are also guardians and lastly the dragon shapeshifters" The Alpha explained.

"Where do we find all of them?"

'That's your first task but you should know that the seer is usually the first daughter of the last BLENHEIM victors" I looked at Lucian.

"How do I know who that is?" I asked yet another question.

"We're sorry is there only a little information about the war that we know. We need to be careful too. Our pack can get targeted because of this" Lucian contributed.

"The pack members should be extra vigilant and ready. We wish you the best of luck Raina" the Alpha said.

"Thank you," I said, my voice low, laced with fear.

After dinner, Lucian and I were ready to leave. We thanked his parents for their help. Just when we were about to leave his mum said something.

"The war is usually across the whole of were race and the war occurs every eight to ten years. It's been almost nine years since the last war. A lot of wolves lose their homes during this time. Families get separated so we have to work together as a pack to keep us together" I really didn't understand her reason for telling me this yet I smiled and appreciated the extra information.

"I'll keep that in mind"

"I remember when Henrietta joined us. She was an Alpha's daughter in her old pack. It was hard for her to settle down and now she's doing perfectly well. I don't want to lose any of this time. The were race is trusting you to obey every instruction and do not let any other thing distract you from this, please" I lost it at the part where she said Henrietta wasn't our biological daughter. I turned to Lucian and asked.

"Henrietta isn't your biological sister,?"
