Chapter League 503

Chapter 503

Upon spotting Millie, Joanna quickly turned to leave. Millie caught up and grabbed her. Then, she pulled her to the parking lot.

“Millie Caldwell, let me go!” Joanna shouted.

Millie stayed quiet but tightened her hold on Joanna, her face expressionless. Her nails dug into Joanna’s skin, and Joanna winced in pain.

“Millie! If you don’t stop, I’ll call the police-”

Millie slapped her, causing Joanna to crash into a car. She looked at Millie in shock.

“Go ahead,” Millie said.

She rolled up her sleeves and declared, “Today, I’ll teach you a lesson you won’t forget. Joanna, when I reflect on your actions, I can’t help but wonder why you are so cruel?”

Joanna realized that Millie was aware of everything. She immediately lowered her head and dared not speak. Biting her lip, she covered her cheek with one hand.

Millie stared at her, feeling disappointed. “Joanna, I know we haven’t been close in recent years. But do you remember how we were friends back in university?”

She couldn’t fathom the reasons behind Joanna’s actions. “I went as far as giving up my university spot for you. Joanna, we were practically like family, yet you betrayed me like this?”

Millie said bitterly, “I trusted you as my best friend, and I told you everything. I saved Winston and almost died. But what about you, Joanna? You pretended to be me and take credit for my actions?”

She was truly taken aback. She had always been aware of Joanna’s arrogance and spoiled nature, but she never imagined her to possess such a deeply sinister and malevolent side.

“Joanna, why did you become so sneaky and betrayed me? What did I do to deserve this?

Millie was filled with rage and frustration. She felt like ending Joanna’s life. She didn’t understand why someone like Joanna should be alive and healthy. She felt that kind people deserved that more.

“I admit it. I’m jealous of you, and I look down on you. What’s wrong with it? Why are you being so rude, Millie?” Joanna pushed Millie away and began to fight back.

Millie was astonished. “Despite making a mistake, you still remain so confident? Well, today I’ll show you how to conduct yourself!

-Millie used to strive for elegance and grace, but now she was determined to reveal her wild side. With a

firm grip on Joanna’s hair, Millie forcefully slammed her head against the car. Instantly, Joanna felt dizzy.

Due to her lack of self–defense skills, all she could do was endure the beatings. Whenever she faced trouble in university, Millie would always help her fight back. Little did she know that one day, she would become the target of Millie’s fists and slaps.

Millie slapped Joanna hard across the face, and blood trickled from the corner of her mouth. Without

hesitation, Millie struck her again.

Joanna’s face was red from the slaps. When she tried to retaliate, Millie held her wrist firmly, rendering her unable to move.

Joanna was angry and could only curse at her, “You’re such a bitch, Millie! I wish you would just die! We all love Winston, but why did he marry you? The Lowell family is respectable. We’re one of the four great families, while the Caldwell family is nothing!”

Joanna completely lost control of her emotions at that moment. “Millie, I’m Joanna Lowell, the daughter of the Lowell family. How dare you hit me? Are you out of your mind?”

Millie sneered. She was indeed out of her mind. Then, she forcefully pushed Joanna against the car and proceeded to grip her neck, effortlessly lifting her off the ground.
