Last Christmas?

The two of us battled again, but neither of us came any closer to winning than we had the last time.

“Ya know,” I said, with a lightbulb practically forming above my head, “what if we got married?

I mean, marriage is when two become one, right? Maybe the crystal ball would be willing to reveal where the Princess and Malin are for us if we became one through marriage.”

“Worth a try.” Krampus said, “I do!”

I responded, “I do!” as well, and we both headed up to the room where the crystal ball was.

“We have become one through marriage now!” Krampus cried, “Which means that you can reveal where the Princess and Malin are, right?”

“Hmmm…” the crystal ball said, “I suppose that that’ll do.” and the crystal ball revealed to us where the Princess and Malin were at.

We saw that the fairy godmother had rescued them from the dungeons that they’d been in, but that she now had them trapped in her own dungeons!

“How do we get to the fairy godmother’s dungeons!?!” Krampus roared, to which the crystal ball explained that, “It’s not possible for me to figure that out unless you two gain more power by having the wizard named Enki perform a spell on you that makes you able to help me unlock the ability to determine the fairy godmother’s whereabouts.

I can reveal to you where Enki is though!”

The crystal ball then showed us a map of how to get to Enki, and then showed Enki in his fortress.

“He has Christmas decorations everywhere!” I cried, “How are we going to get him to help us?”

“What strategy you want to use is up to you,” the crystal ball replied, “but I can only reveal the fairy godmother’s location to you if you get Enki to perform that spell on you. My hands are tied for now.”

“Fine!” Krampus barked, and the two of us began speeding towards Enki’s fortress.

“I have an idea!” I said, “What if we told him that the fairy godmother has become evil and is preventing the Princess from claiming her throne!

If Enki sees that the Princess and Malin are in the fairy godmother’s dungeons, he’ll probably just assume that she’s being evil!, and so he’ll be willing to help us.”

“Good plan!” Krampus praised, “We’ll have to pretend to like Christmas though!, since Enki’s such a big fan of it; and THAT means that we’re going to have to do some Christmas shopping, which is something that I never thought that I’d ever get roped into doing…”

I groaned unhappily, but Krampus was correct!

It was time for us to do some Christmas shopping!, so that we could appear to Enki to be big fans of Christmas, which would help enable us to trick! him into giving us the spell that we needed so that we could recapture the Princess and use her to rule the world so that we could make this Christmas the last Christmas ever!

And, so, we hurried towards a Christmas store, so that we could get some holiday apparel that would make us seem like we were the biggest fans of Christmas who’d ever lived!…
