In the early days of our marriage, we often had small arguments.
Each time, he would be the first to give in.
He would buy all kinds of flowers and sweets to cheer me up. I was also very clingy, constantly sending him messages. We were like an ordinary couple, simple and in love.

…
The first time I met Damon was when I was bored and decided to follow my father to his department to learn.
Damon was wearing a white lab coat, with messy blonde hair casually falling over his forehead, exuding a youthful yet rugged charm.
I was instantly captivated.
After that meeting, I became unusually studious, tagging along with my father to his department whenever I had free time.

Even my old–fashioned father noticed the
change in me.
“Who caught your eye?” he asked.
I smiled and discreetly pointed at Damon, who was deeply engrossed in his studies.

I had just finished surgery and, unaware of the danger, came face–to–face with him. By the time I noticed the knife, it was too late.
Damon rushed out and tackled me, and we both rolled to the side. The knife missed, sparing me from harm.
After that incident, we naturally got together. And Damon treated me very well.
He brought me breakfast every day and had lunch with me every afternoon.
Even my father was pleased with him.
