I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 508

Chapter 508 Find Out

A chilling indifference surfaced on Frank's face, and he narrowed his eyes slightly. "What's it to you?"

Annie said, "You..."

Frank just looked at her. Without waiting for her to finish, he left.

Frank walked coldly out of the apartment. He stood at the roadside and stopped a cab, thinking, "Since Harper went on a business trip with Benjamin, that means Harper hasn't told Benjamin yet." He got into the cab and gave the driver an address, then closed his eyes to rest.

Frank didn't notice that the next second the cab started, there was a black car following all the way behind it.

Frank hadn't been responsive all the way there. But he wasn't asleep. Because there was no way to contact Harper, and even with the guess that Harper hadn't told Benjamin yet, he was still worried. The more he thought about it, the heavier his heart became.

He then opened his eyes and sat up straight, looking out the window. Frowning, he had no extra expression on his face.

Frank went straight back to his place, and the black car that had been following him was parked on the street in front of his apartment.

The people in the car watched as Frank entered the apartment. The backseat door of the car was then opened, and two people, a man and a woman, got out and followed him into the apartment. They went into the apartment across from the one where Frank was staying. Everything was going on quietly in secret.

The morning passed peacefully. But Frank went back to his apartment and never came out. The news naturally reached Benjamin as soon as it did.

Benjamin said, "If he hasn't made any move before tomorrow, just let him find out."

"Let him find out? Won't he run away then?"

"He won't."

Benjamin was very confident. If Frank could run, he would have done so long ago and wouldn't have waited until now.

The night passed, and Frank never

made a move. At Benjamin's behest,

intentionally allowed him to find out that he was being followed and spied on.

Frank guessed that the other party must be someone Benjamin had arranged the moment he learned of it. Keeping his composure, he dialed Harper's phone once more. As it was yesterday, it wouldn't connect at all. Frank couldn't help but think, "Did Harper tell him?"

But whether Harper said it or not, it didn't matter to him as long as Benjamin didn't attack him head-on.

After all, Frank had already prepared a response. Even if the police investigated him at this moment, Frank didn't have the slightest panic because all the evidence showed that this incident had nothing to do with him, and it was all Ray's doing alone. Even if Ray revealed him, he was in no hurry because Ray had no evidence.

Frank's reaction made the people watching him wonder. Wasn't a normal person's subconscious reaction supposed to be to run away immediately? Why didn't he run away?

They couldn't make up their minds, so they had to contact Benjamin and explain the situation.

Benjamin said, "There's no rush. You guys just keep an eye on him."

Benjamin then asked Curtis to pick him up and take him to the construction site.

No one was allowed to enter or exit here. But Benjamin was different, and he could do what he wanted to do.

Benjamin came to the site and called Charlie here. He asked Charlie, "With so many days have passed, have these people had any reaction?"

"Mr. Martin, apart from occasionally complaining about restricting their freedom for too long, they have no abnormalities. After all, even if they can't leave, they still have paid rest. This is much easier for these workers who rely on hard work to earn money."

Not only were the workers unable to leave, Charlie also did not leave.

Benjamin did not respond to his words but stared at him indifferently for a few seconds. The meaningful look in his eyes made Charlie a little uneasy.

He whispered, "Mr. Martin, do you have any instructions or arrangements?"
