Her Undeniable Temptation

Bella and Zoe had spent half an hour in detention. it lasted forever and it was totally boring for them, they got to leave for lunch though! At their table, Alex sat close to Bella and Luke sat close to Zoe. The boys were ignoring each other which wasn’t something new to Zoe. As long as they weren’t fighting, using their power, and throwing blows it was fine by her.

“I think I’m gonna find the car that the teacher drives and keys the hell out of it.” Bella mused, sticking her fork angrily at the meatballs on her plate.

Zoe shook her head fighting back a smile. “Silver Paris! I can show you which one,” Alex said, Zoe glanced up at him to notice him grinning. ”You are horrendous,” Bella said, smiling at Alex fondly.

Zoe stared at the ceiling trying to block out the look on his face! All dreamy, ugh.

While they had lunch, Alex worked on one of his Assignments! Bella kept mumbling some stuff with Dora and Luke was completely submerged in a conversation with one of his friends about basketball.

Zoe sat in between her friends feeling completely bored. It totally felt like she was still in detention! Zoe didn’t have anything to do so she absolutely ended up watching Alex work, his expression was gentle and focused. Insanely gorgeous as always.

Alex glanced up from his work which startled her. “What?” Alex asked, staring at her with an arched eyebrow. “Uhm, I was marveling, do you dye your hair?” She asked, making Bella and Dora halt murmuring to wait for his answer.

Alex pursed his lips for a while. He had replaced the ring on his lips with ebony timber stuff. “I was actually born with the color! I inherited it from my grandmother.” Alex explained making Zoe nod her head sheepishly.

“Don’t be embarrassed! Most people think I dye it, natural platinum is pretty rare.” Alex finally said. “And it is also pretty,” Bella said, pecking Alex on the cheeks. Zoe immediately felt like gagging, this day was absolutely not going well.

Later In the day after school, she was talking to Dora and Bella on a conference call during her break at the bakery.”That whole thing with Lisa today totally ticked me off,” Bella said. “She is damn lucky I wasn’t there. I could have ripped her a*s off,” Dora added.

“Trust me guys, I know but does it hurt?” Zoe asked sarcastically. “Oh wow, you should be a stand-up comedian,” Dora said. “No! I was just thinking about the whole being, you know a virgin.” Zoe said quietly.

“What about it?” Bella asked. “Well, it felt kind of embarrassing to be sixteen and still be a virgin!” Zoe said, rolling her eyes but of course, they couldn’t see her. ”Zoe, you should be proud just like the way you were earlier on, do you know how many girls lose their V-card before they leave high school?” Bella asked.

”Do say deflowered.” Dora said, making them all laugh, “okay, okay I kind of feel weird not to have done it yet.” Bella said.

“What about you Zoe? I mean you have been with Luke for a while now.” Dora asked and Zoe bit her lips, that wasn’t going to be the same after the fourth! Zoe wanted to tell them so badly but she had promised Luke not to tell any of their friends! So, she just kept her mouth shut instead.

“I’m going to change my status?” Bella said. “To what exactly?” Zoe and Dora found themselves asking. “Don’t worry, I’ll tell you guys some other time,” Bella said giggling.

“I have to go, I have a customer,” Zoe said, hanging up. There wasn’t any customer in the shop, Zoe was only feeling sickening because whatever she had planned up included Alex.

“I think I’m in love with Alex,” Bella opens up out of the blue. It’s Wednesday and they are at Zoe’s house drinking hot chocolate! Wednesday was usually family time for them at Zoe’s home but it seems everybody was busy so it was canceled.

Zoe had just taken a drink of hot chocolate when Bella blurted out and that ended up burning her lips out of surprise. “Are you okay?” Dora asked with caring eyes. “Yeah, uhm! What exactly do you mean by in love exactly?” Zoe asked while rubbing her mouth but instead Bella rolled her eyes.

“Come on, you know what I’m talking about,” she said, smiling sheepishly. “I’m in love! Finally.” She said happily! Zoe and Dora just stared at each other because they honestly don’t know what to think about this information.

They didn’t know whether to believe what she had said. Wait, Bella couldn’t be in love with Alex, right? It hasn’t been long since they started dating and supposedly Zoe thought Bella likes Rico. “Would you guys talk already! It feels like you want to say something skeptical.” Bella said.

“Well, obviously I’m skeptical! This isn’t the first time you are falling in love. Right?” Zoe asked. “Yeah, this isn’t the only person,” She said, making Zoe smile.

“But this feeling with Alex is different. I think having a mate like the novels is true! Alex might be my mate. ” She insisted. “How so? Moreover, the novels entail that you have to be eighteen. Get a grip because there is no such thing here.” Zoe said a bit furious.

Bella thought about it for a moment before answering. “Whenever we are together it just feels, I don’t know but I just can’t be myself around him! Like I feel some pull to do crazy things with him. Do you feel that way around Luke?” She asked and Zoe didn’t give a reply.

I mean she had just described the way Zoe felt whenever she was with Nathan. “Anyways since I love him! I have decided that he is the one I’m going to give myself to.” She finally said, making Zoe and Dora yell.

“WTF!” They yelled together.

“Uh, give yourself.” Zoe asked hesitantly, “Zoe, he is going to be the first boy I make love to.” She quietly looked away from them before blushing, Zoe was right here with her mind racing like hell as she stared at the table.

‘I mean Bella wanted to sleep with her hidden love. Ugh, he is not hers yet.’ Zoe can’t believe she just thought of that. “Bella, I don’t know about this,” Zoe said and she looked up at her with a narrowed expression.

“And why not?” She demanded and Zoe hated her tone but she just couldn’t fight with her. “I don’t want you to get hurt,” Zoe said but she knew that wasn’t true! Zoe seriously doubted Alex was ever going to hurt her.

The fact of the matter is if both of them willingly decide to sleep with each other. Zoe knows she wouldn’t be able to look both of them in the eye like she usually does. “I’m selfish and I know.” She scoffed.

Bella hasn’t been a friend to her for as long as Dora has been but she didn’t want to be an enemy to her since she was a part of her family now. Zoe didn’t even think their relationship would make it this far. She can’t even think about it anymore.

The way she was feeling right now can’t just be from her crushing on Alex. Can it be that she and Alex were soulmates? Does Alex really mean so much to her?

“Bella, what do you want to do, I think you should rethink,” Zoe said sounding shaky, Bella sighed. “I figured that was going to be your response but I’m sorry Zoe, my mind is made up,” Bella said taking a long drink of hot chocolate.

“When are you doing it?” Zoe found herself asking and feeling numb. “Saturday, I have everything all planned out,” Bella said feeling confident. She glanced at the calendar on the wall above the television, Saturday was obviously the fourth.

If Zoe wasn’t this numb! She could have laughed. What a co-occurrence that she picked the same day she also had to lose her own virginity. “Does Alex know?” Zoe asked and she shook her head.

“No! It totally going to be a surprise, it’s not like he was going to object! I mean no boy would.” Bella said and gave a slight chuckle, that was true! What guy would think of saying no to that?

This sucked and hurt a lot for Zoe. They all spent another half an hour talking, Bella and Dora were interested in most of the conversation while Zoe was so busy coming up with her plan to stop Bella. I mean, she was too busy plotting on how to stop her friend.

Sigh.
