Her Undeniable Temptation

December fourth. That was going to be the day Luke and Zoe finally consummate their relationship, she had no idea why that was the day they decided on it! Really. Luke and her were discussing it and she randomly just spit out the date, Zoe still had a decent amount of nerves but that was expected. Right?

Anyways. After that night on the rooftop with Alex. She spent a lot of time thinking about how strangely he had entered her life, and how he was. Well, not a huge part but a big part of it now.

Even though she couldn’t stand it. He was still dating her friend Bella, luckily he seemed to understand how much she disapproved! So, whenever just the two of them spend time together he doesn’t talk about it.

Zoe was beyond relieved when he said he’d keep it to himself. Did she really need to hear him gush about his girlfriend? No! His girlfriend happened to be her best friend. Bella was a bit trickier. Like she said before, she loves to talk! They happened to have a long conversation once with Dora about the sky, ugh.

If she could go on that long about something they didn’t really care about. Can you imagine the amount of time she has to hear about Alex and Bella? That stupid ache that had formed on Halloween night, pretty much hurt all the time now.

Bella always talked about how funny and gorgeous Alex was, all the things Zoe already knew. Bella also went on about another thing. Like, how sweet his lips were, and how soft and thick his hair was.

Zoe knew those things too but she couldn’t exactly mention that of course. She gave Bella some credit, she did seem to keep quiet a bit to herself. Zoe got the idea that Alex asked Bella not to pester her with much information since it would make her uncomfortable.

She was grateful though, Zoe often got the feeling that he knew she had a thing for him but he did try to hide it. Zoe knew that she was seriously not good at hiding stuff, it was Wednesday and she was wandering around the school hallway with Luke.

The fourth of December seems to be creeping closer and closer. Luke wasn’t a bit tense or nervous, actually, it seems he was glistening with excitement. ”Do you have to work tonight?” Luke asked.

They were leaning against Zoe’s locker holding hands. ”Yeah, pretty much every night! This week.” She sighed. ”That sucks, oh hey man!” Luke said fist-bumping one of his friends who walked past them in the hallway.

”Why does it seem like you never have to work?” Zoe asked Luke, feeling annoyed. ”Because my dad has all the money I can ask for, maybe you should stop working also.” Luke said. “So, have you talked to that one guy lately?” Luke asked out of the blue.

Zoe raised an eyebrow in surprise. “You mean Alex?” She asked and Luke cringed a little but nodded. ”Yeah, I have talked to him! He is my friend after all,” Zoe said. Luke glimpsed down at her, probably because she sounded defensive.

“Why do you ask?” She asked. Luke was about to give an answer when Lisa interrupted them. Y’all remember Lisa the school bitch? Yes, her. “Hey Luke,” she called all flirty.

”Uh, oh, hi Lisa!” He said awkwardly. She glanced briefly at Zoe like a disgusting bug then at Luke. “I just wanted to say your last game was incredible, you are such a big player,” Lisa said with a seductive wink and that made Zoe furious.

Zoe glared at her. How dare she flirt so obviously with her boyfriend right in front of her? Just then Bella walked up to them followed by Alex. They were holding hands! Oh, God. ”What’s going on?” Bella asked when she noticed Lisa.

”Oh, hello Bella? Is it time for the C- v meeting?” Lisa asked snarkily. Bella raised her eyebrows in furry. ”Cv-meeting? What the hell are you talking about?” Bella demanded.

”You don’t even know the club you and your little friends are in?” Lisa asked, gesturing to me. Bella stood and waited while Lisa let out a stupid giggle.

”This is just amazing! Bella, Dora, and Zoe. The three biggest members of the club and they don’t even know what it is!” Lisa said laughing. ”Spit it out already. So, we can go on with our lives or I beat the crap out of you! Choose wisely,” Bella said, feeling annoyed already.

”The Cv-club a.k.a the precious clueless virgin,” Lisa said.

Zoe stared at Bella and she stared back at her. Zoe knew what Bella was thinking, Luke noticed that they were about to jump on Lisa any second from now but he had to step in between them to prevent it from happening.

“Come on guys, don’t even listen to her! A fight is not worth it.” Luke said as they both tried to go around him. What a hypocrite, he was trying to start a fight during the Halloween dance.

Bella and Zoe have both been yelling lewd names at Lisa. She was standing a little bit away looking like she should run away before they got their hands on her! Alex wasn’t bothering to keep them back. ”You can make your little jokes about us being virgins, but it is better than being nasty little SLUT!” Zoe yelled.

”Virgin and proud,” Bella yelled.

The class door opened and Lisa took off. ”What In the world is going on here?” came the voice of the teacher who just left the class. ”Nothing sir! Just a tiny altercation but it is well resolved though.” Alex said.

The teacher seeing the stance of Zoe and Bella narrowed his eyes. ”Ms. Zander, getting into a fight in the hallway, and Ms. Luggard too. huh, looks like both of you will have to spend some time in detention,” The teacher said. They all made protested but he silenced them with a look and left.

“He is a jerk. Lisa got away totally free and she was the cause of everything.” Bella said angrily. Zoe was too pissed to say anything, Luke was glaring at Alex which confused Zoe.

“So, thanks for helping these two stays out of trouble,” Luke said sarcastically at Alex. Alex glanced back at Luke considering whether or not to even respond. “I didn’t think what the girls were doing was wrong, that Lisa chick deserves some sense knocked into her,” Alex said calmly.

Zoe was so grateful to him for that moment. ”Yeah sure, maybe Lisa was being mean but do you think it was worth these two going to detention?” Luke demanded.

“They knew what they were doing, you shouldn’t have stopped them,” Alex said with a shrug.

Luke looked very angry. ”Will you guys just shut the f..ck up? We have detention! Period.” Zoe sighed, making both of them look away.
