Her Redemption

Chapter 91

Chapter 91

Lydia and Liam had deepened their relationship and it was so obvious in their workplace that they were dating. Everyone saw how they were both fond of themselves and how Lydia often went to see Liam in his office. They would kiss and hug themselves before going home after work. This made most of the females in their work place jealous because most of them if not all had a crush on Liam.

So Lydia suggested that she moved into Liam's house to stay for the week which Liam agreed to with all pleasure. They did almost everything together. They cleaned, cooked, bathed and even went to work together. They had gotten back from work on Friday which was the last day of the week Diana was spending with him and they came back with their Individual Salaries. Lydia who was below Liam in their work position received a very lesser Salary.

As beautiful and graceful ss Lydia was she still had an irritating trait which was "stealing". Although she did her best to steal codedly so she was hardly caught. She saw nothing wrong with this trait so she did not try to change it. Staying with Liam in the same house, she was tempted to take from his Salary even when he promised her he was going to take her for shopping.

Since they became lovers, she had access to Liam's phone so she decided she was going to transfer half of Liam's salary into her account. She did that while Liam was in the bathroom and she made sure she deleted every trace of her act in Liam's phone. As Liam came out of the bathroom she pretended to be going through his gallery.

"Hey babe" she grinned in Liam's direction.

"Yeah darling" Liam replied as he stopped by the bed to kiss her.

"So I'll be leaving first thing tomorrow, I need to put my house in order you know" she said.

"Urghh, do you have to? Why can't you stay till next week? "Liam retorted.

"I wish I could but I want you to miss me" Lydia teased him as she kissed him too.

"Naughty girl! "Liam exclaimed using the pillow on her.

"Oh you're beating me up right?"

"I promise never to come to your place again" Lydia said as she faked a sad face.

"Oh my angel, I'm so sorry, your love would die if he doesn't see you in his home anymore" Liam hugged her tightly as he giggled

*******morning

Lydia kissed Liam goodbye and made for her home. Later in the day Liam felt a bit lonely and decided to go get some groceries. After paying for his stuffs he received an alert showing him his account balance. He freezes for a minute as he was shocked to his marrows by the balance he saw. Half of his salary was gone. He managed to drive home and as he got home he couldn't stop thinking of who might have wrecked his account.

"No one knows my password and I haven't left my phone with anyone apart from lydia" he thought out loud.

"Could it be Lydia? He thought while stamping his feet mildly.

"No, it can't be Lydia isn't a thief" he whispered. After a while Liam remembered an advice of his dad telling him not to trust anyone apart from himself. Liam concluded that he is was going to find out if she was the one.

On Monday as usual Liam went to work and Lydia came to say hi in his office.

"Hey Sweet, how was your night" she rubbed Liam's chin in a very romantic manner.

"Great darling, I believe yours was great too? " Liam kissed her.

"Yes Sweet" Lydia responded.

"Please can I use your phone? I'm low on airtime and I need to pass an important message to a friend. "Liam asked politely.

"Sure" Lydia handed her cellphone toLiam swiftly.

Liam took the phone and entered her message app as he quickly checked her recent messages unfortunately for her she hadn't deleted the fraudulent transaction she made from her phone. She was going to but somehow she forgot. Immediately Liam saw the evidence of transfer from his account he jolted.

"Wow, Lydia can you explain this?" he asked with his brows furrowed.

lydia was in shock and couldn't bring herself to speak.

"Urrrhm.... errrhhh.... i was going to..... Its not what you" Lydia stuttered terribly.

"Wow look who I've got for a girlfriend, a thief" Liam spoke dissapointedly.

"Liam I'm sorry, I couldn't help it, you know my salary is so little" she tried to justify her actions.

"Oh and you couldn't ask?"

"You know what, I'm done with you, I cant date a thief"

"No Liam, you don't have to call me hurtful names and besides if I had asked you wouldn't have given me that much money " Lydia defended herself. "Wow, this is so funny" Liam laughed a little

"Girl you took money from me without my permission and that's called stealing, I could arrest you, you know" Liam told her with an evil smile.

"Babe it hasn't gotten to that, I can change if you want me to" Lydia begged.

"No don't change for me, change for your damn self" Liam scolded.

"Liam I love you, and I know you love me too, we can't let what we have die so fast" Lydia persuaded.

"Oh I'll let it die, I thank God I haven't gotten far with you if not...."

Liam growled as he banged his desk. Lydia pleaded all she could but his mind was made up and she was forced to leave his office. He was so angry with himself for
