The next day*

Liam had an appointment with the doctor at 9am. He was going to do a checkup on his health to know how he was improving. Diana had woken up very early that day to clean the house and prepare breakfast. She was now living in Liam's house so she could observe him closely. They had finished eating and dressing up around 8am. So Diana decided to order a Cab. Diana has been finding most of the spending after the incident because she knew he was low on Cash, reasons being that he hadn't worked in a long while.

"Hello Ma, I'm at the Victorian house you told me to stop at" the cab man informed her.

"Okay nice, we'll be with you shortly" Diana told him.

"Honey the Cab man is here already, let's get going" she turned to Liam.

"Okay, of course" Liam replied ****

"How are you doing today" Diana greeted him as soon as she got to were he was parked.

"I'm very well Ma, thank you" He answered.

"Hello," Liam greeted the Cab Man as he made for the back seat where Diana was seating already.

"Hello Sir, you have such a lovely girlfriend" the Cab man complimented.

"Thank you Man" Liam said as he kissed Diana and smiled at her, she was already giggling at the compliment.

They started the Journey and we're at the hospital in a few minutes. It was an appointment so they did not have to do a lot of clearing to see the doctor. The lady at the reception just put a call across to the doctor asking him if he was expecting any Liam Maxwell and the Doctor answered in the affirmative. The Receptionist kindly informed them to go in. Diana went in with him so she could get vital information directly from the Doctor.

"Hello Liam, good to see you" the Doctor exclaimed.

"Hello Josh, Good to see you to, how are you doing" Liam greeted back Casually.

"I'm doing well by God's grace, Work gets overwhelming at times but we are fine" Doctor Josh smiled.

"Hello Pretty, Hope you are fine, of course you look fine" Josh greeted jokingly

"Yes doc, I'm doing okay thank you" Diana responded gracefully.

"I can see you are taking good care of my friend, Good job dear" The Doc remarked.

"Yeah, it's my duty" she smiled looking at Liam and then everyone laughed heartily.

"So Liam how have you been feeling" Doctor Josh got to business.

"Quite okay, I guess, I just get depressed a lot" he stated.

"Why is that?" The Doctor wanted to be sure of the root of his problem.

"He worries so much about his condition " Diana answerd quickly on his behalf.

"Oh no, I understand you are going through a lot, but you have to try your best to be happy, Okay?" The Doctor encouraged.

"Diana, Please try to engage him in stuffs so he doesn't think too much, we dont want that now" The doctor added.

"Alright Doc, I'll try my best" Diana assured him.

"So I'll do some checks on you to see how far you've come" Doctor Josh turned to Liam.

They did a brain Scan and a general checkup. The brain had recovered almost fully from its injury but Liam wasn't hale, he was actually letting depression eat him whichvwaa visible in his results. "Okay Liam you have improved greatly, but you have to be intentional about your mental health unless you might fall into a critical condition again" The Doctor advised. "Alright Doctor, I promise to stop the worries" Liam Promised.

"Diana, thank you for being supportive, please keep being that okay?" The Doc said to Diana

"Sure Doc, I sure will" she replied.

"Okay, that will be all for now" Doc Josh said as he shakes them both.

They both go outside holding hands to the Cab they ordered earlier. He was waiting patiently outside for them as Diana had payed him fully for the services.

"You guys are done already?" The Cab guy asked.

"Yeah yeah, hope we didn't keep you for too long" Diana asked kindly. She had gotten nicer than ever.

"No not at all Ma'am" the cab guy responded.

"Can we move now?" He asked as soon as he was sure Diana and Liam were settled in the Car.

"Sure Man, let's get going" Liam instructed.

The driver started the Car after playing "better" by called out music. As if he knew what everyone needed at the moment, the music he played calmed the mind of his passengers with immediate effect.

Unknown to them, Fred came to cause some trouble to Diana in her home but saw them from afar driving out and decided to follow them behind. He had it in mind to cause some nuisance but as he set his eyes on Diana with Liam going out together he became furious. He changed his Plan, he decided to kidnap her.
