Chapter 46

Due to the new development of Liam's health, He had to take more leave from his work place to recuperate. Fortunately for him, his company was very understanding, they granted him an extra four weeks to rest and heal and this was because Liam was a very hard worker in his company. During this trying times, Diana stood closely by him.

"Baby I'm so sorry for all the Stress I'm causing you" Liam winced.

"Oh love, I should be the sorry one, you're going through a lot and it's the right ring for me to take care of you."

"Please I don't want you to ever feel like a bother okay, You are my love and I owe you my care" Diana assured him as she rubbed and kissed his head.

"You know, I don't know what I would've done without you" Liam squeezed her hands, looking hard into her eyes.

"I love how you love me and I don't take this for granted, trust me" Liam Said.

"Of course love, and I'm grateful for you too" she kissed him.

"So what would you like to have for launch" Diana asked.

"I don't feel like eating" Liam said weakly.

"Common! don't tell me that, you had just cofee this morning and you wanna tell me you're not hungry now?" Diana asked a little bit pissed.

"Babe you won't understand I just don't want to.... e.. " Liam stammered.

"You are clouded with thoughts right?" Diana asked but she was sure what the problem was.

"You know, everything is happening too fast" Liam muttered in a very sober mood.

"First it was Astenia, now it's my brain, why? Why me?" Liam asked as he ran his hands across his hair.

"But I'm here for you, You'll be fine in less than no time, I promise you, it's just a phase" Diana assured him once more.

"You know what? I'll just go prepare you Chicken and some Salad, I'm sure you'll love it" Diana Smiled trying to cheer him up.

"Alright love" he answered reluctantly.

Diana went straight to the kitchen to prepare the meal as she promised. She was going to grill chicken and prepare random vegetable Salads. She took the chicken, a whole chicken from the refrigerator, she also brought out onions, ginger, garlic, spices, soy sauce and some Salt.

After washing the chicken thoroughly she made deep visible lines across it for her mix to get through. She blends the Onion, ginger and garlic and put in a bowl where she adds salt, soy sauce and spices (Curry, rosemary, turmeric and so many others). She mix everything in the bowl thoroughly and uses a brush to apply it on the chicken. She fills in the lines which she made with more mix and then let it marinate for some minutes.

She then puts it in the grill. She decided to play crazy with her Salad. She cut Cabbage, lettuce, boiled mushrooms and white onions then used some lemon juice for a sour taste. In twenty minutes the chicken was well grilled. Diana served the grilled chicken and salad and took it with her to the bedroom when Liam was resting in.

"Heyyo I'm done" She smiled with the tray of deliciousness.

"Oh my belly had filled already with all the sweet aroma" Liam teased.

"Haha, so you'll have to find some space because you have more filling to do" Diana teased back.

The chicken was so juicy that when Liam beheld it he couldn't help but Salivate.

"So yum" He exclaimed.

"I told you, you we're gonna love it, and now you haven't even tasted it but you are drooling already " She laughed at him.

They ate the meal over cool rnb music and after eating Liam slept off.

While Liam was asleep, Sam called, Sam became more of a sister to Diana, she wa always checking up on her and advising her. She times sent gifts the her and Liam, foodstuffs too. "Hey babe, how are you doing no today" Sam greeted as soon as Diana picked.

"I'm doing well dear, I thank God." Diana replied.

"Good to hear that, how about your boyfriend hope he's getting better" Sam asked.

"Yes he is, though he gets very Sad most times but the doctor said we should let him be that he just needs all the rest he can get and he'll be fine soon.

"Oh sure he'll be fine 'soon, I'm so sorry for all the stress this has caused you" Sam tried to sympathize with her.

"Oh he's my boyfriend you know, I don't feel stressed, it's my duty I mean" Diana replied cheerfully.

"How are my beautiful kids" Diana asked.

"Ciara and her brother? They're doing good, they keep asking me of you and Liam"

"Oh my Sweets, tell them I love them and We'll visit them Sooner than they think" Diana chuckled.

"They'll hear, please make sure you take care of yourself okay." Sam told her.

"Yes my love, I will, Thank you so much for calling"Diana thanked her.

Diana took her phone to feed her eyes as soon as the Call ended.
