Her Redemption

Chapter 48:

When Fred finally followed them to the hospital, he called one of his hoodlum friend and communicated with him that he wanted to have his stubborn crush arrested. The guy immediately obliged to be at the scene.

Liam and Diana did not Sense Fred and his cohort following them neither did the Cab guy. Of course Fred had warned his friend to keep a fair distance away from their target, Fred's friend was In a different Car. By the time they had gotten to the street that was best to Diana's house, they decided to act.

The street was quite lonely, so it was very easy to carry out their evil task. Fred instructed his guy to block them as soon as they were trying to enter the best street.

"Hey! hands up everybody! any movement I shoot" The guy said.

They immediately freezed with fear. The guy had opened the back door and pointed the gun to Diana's head instructing her to get down. She was beginning to sweat profusely.

"Hands up everybody! Hands up, any movement I shoot. " the hoodlum commanded and everyone in the car obeyed. Liam was so alert while thinking of the next thing to do. "Get down everyone! " he commanded again and they obeyed.

"Young lady move with me! " he had now pointed the gun to Diana's head, threatening her.

"Me?" Diana asked in between shivers.

"Yes you, don't be an idiot, move before I blow your head" he barked.

"Who sent you? If you want money I'll give it to you " Diana said quite angrily.

"You must be stupid, move!" The hoodlum got irritated as he kicked her on the legs.

"Don't you harass my woman like that, you modafucker" Liam groaned as he pounced on the kidnapper.

The gun flew away and the Cab man was smart enough to pick it up immediately. Liam gave him a hard jab on the jaw while on him. Trying to free himself from Liam's grip, the kidnapper managed to give Liam a blow on the back which made Liam let him go for a second. The kidnapper still wincing in pains, Liam gave him series of blows in his belly and he couldn't even defend any. Now Fred was getting furious inside his car as things weren't going as planned but he didn't want to show his face, he prayed for his partner to regain strength and deal with Liam.

"Come here you fool, Come and fight me like a Man" Liam challenged ready for the worst.

The Kidnapper was angry but I'm deep pains, he targets Liam's leg and brought him down by the legs. Liam who was very skillful with tactics held him by his head and tumbled him. The kidnapper groaned in pains, but Liam won't let him, Liam tumbled him severally again and gave him a hard blow. As he was about giving him another blow, Fred stepped out of his Car seeing that his Partner was going to pass out. "Hold it there Mr Liam" Fred Commanded

Liam laughed "Hahahaha, Fred so it was you all the time, such a coward" Liam cursed.

"Fred what kind of a tout are you? you mean you planned for my kidnap? " Diana asked surprised.

"Yes I did, because you couldn't follow simple instructions, you decided to give my love to this fool, I promise to deal with the both of you" Fred groaned.

"You would do no such thing Fred, stop day dreaming " Liam said sarcastically.

"Shut your mouth before I blow your brains" Fred warned loudly as he placed the gun on Liam's head.

"Why did you leave every other lady in this earth and decided to take mine away from me?" Fred fumed.

"Look who is talking, Diana never belonged to you and she never will" Liam laughed as Diana was getting Mad, she was scared that Liam would be dead because she knew Fred to be a lunatic.

The Cab guy on the other hand who had become so confused thought of using the Gun I'm his hands but was so scared. He was scared that he had never used a gun before, he was scared that he was going to take a soul if he killed Fred. Be just stood there trembling and praying to God to come to their rescue.

"Oh you still have the guts to talk back at me huh?" Fred raved with anger just about to pull the trigger when they heard Sirens from all corners around them.

"Hands down everybody, drop your weapons now, slowly" A police officer instructed and Fred and the Cab guy did as instructed. From the time the Kidnapper stopped their Car, a lady who lived in a duplex close to the scene saw them. She was just about to rest in her balcony when she saw the kidnapper doing his thing and she immediately called the cops. As the Cops arrived she was glad and she rushed to the scene to explain what she saw from her balcony. Fred and his Partner were handcuffed and put in the police Van alongside Liam, Diana and the Cab guy. Liam, Diana and Fred had to accompany the police to the police to the police station to write a statement each.

While in the Police station, Fred kept screaming and threatening to kill someone if Diana leaves with Liam. The police took him and his Partner behind bars but he wouldn't stop ranting. The cops apologized to Liam and his Co's after which he set them free and promised to put the Culprits in jail.

Diana was happy, at least justice was served and she would no longer be getting threats from the Maniac Fred. It was a very long day, they all found their way home and Diana managed to massage Liam's body as he had gone through a lot physically. None of them could eat, they weren't hungry, they just kept reminiscing on what happened earlier till they slept off.
