Galaxy Of Hope

Chapter Here (2)

We were surrounded. I had not one, not two, but four large rifles pointed at my head. Oak had his hands raised and so had all of my other mates. All of our guns were now on the floor. The Rainers who had fallen through were all in riot gear. I could not see a single face, because they were covered in masks. Their clothes were some kind of tight black training gear, laced with all kind of knives and smaller guns than the ones they were holding.

‘The girl.’ One of them, the leader, said. Two of the four who were holding me, motioned me forward by pushing the gun against my back. I pleadingly glanced at the room, not for my life but for theirs. Don’t do anything stupid please. I felt Oak flinch behind me and Andrew and Dosch’s gaze were right in front of me, so furious I could feel the heat waved radiation from their bodies.

‘Don’t put the gun against her like that!’ said Jax. Which got him a vicious knock from the end of one of the guns, putting him on his knees and making me scream.

‘Who are you?’ I angrily said. Tried to turn around but that got me a slap from a gun as well. Instant buzzing pain went through my nose and it might have been broken. Wrong move on my part, because every single one of my mates made an attempt to move and all of them were now being hit by a gun.

‘I think we need to restrain all of them.’ One of them said. The leader nodded and they brought out some handcuffs. With an immense struggle all of my mates, Vincent and the bodyguards were now lined up on their knees, a gun pointed against the back of their heads.

‘Lux Elmrose.’ The leader spoke behind his mask and let one gloved finger run next to my cheek. The blood from my nose soaking my new red dress in a darker color. ‘Nice to meet you.’

‘Can’t say I feel the same way.’

The gun at my back pushed harder.

‘Feisty one aren’t you?’ his accent was different. One I had not heard before.

‘What do you want?’ I bit back.

‘Now, now, don’t go and run that pretty mouth of yours. I hate to see it gagged.’ He answered while slowly walking around me, assessing me. I didn’t dare glance to the row of my most important people in the world. They would be near losing their minds.

‘Could you stop pointing that gun at my back.’ I hesitated. ‘Please.’

‘Well, because you asked nicely.’ He motioned for the gun to move, to have it placed at my temple.

‘Fucking bastards, you are dead!’ growled Ash. Dosch cursed in Mons and it wasn’t pretty.

‘What do you want?’ I asked again.

‘Isn’t it obvious. You?’ the leader laughed.

‘Why?’

‘Why she said!’ as if that was the funniest thing in the world. A few of the others chuckled.

‘You have no idea do you?’
