“How about you call us Royal King when we are in court and Sonny when we aren’t, okay?” Sonny asks as he smiles at the Elders, causing every one of the Elders to smile too.

“Thank you, Sonny,” Elder Wise said as he shook my hand too.

“It’s done, Sonny. I’ve summoned him with Ares’ help. The idiot didn’t want to submit to a woman. I will show him how to submit when he gets here, but he said he will be here in two days,” Windy told me, a grimace on her face.

Sonny’s POV

“How many times did he call you sweetheart?” I asked Windy through our mind-link.

“Too many times to count,” Windy and Ares replied at the same time, laughing out loud when they realized what they did.

The Elders looked at me in question. “Alveraz has a habit of calling women sweetheart and bitch.” They nodded their heads and looked at Windy with sympathy.

“If he wants to call me bitch I will show him what a true bitch can do to him. I rather he calls me bitch instead of sweetheart.” Windy shuddered and smiled at us, taking her hand across her throat, making us all laugh.

“Do you think you could take him?” Alpha Wise asked, his eyes wide and a smile on his face.

“Yes. She could beat him with her eyes closed and one arm behind her back. I’ve seen her take down fully grown male wolves in her human form,” I bragged as I lightly punched Windy in the arm.

“Seriously?” Elder Baker asked.

“Seriously,” Windy and Ares said as Windy looked at the Elder with a smirk on her face.

“Well, shit,” the Elder commented, making all of us laugh.

With an evil smirk, Windy said, “I could give you a demonstration.”

“We are getting a little off subject. Windy, you can show them tomorrow.” I turned and looked at the Elders. “Do you think your mates would come to be witnesses against the ‘man’?” I heard all of the Elders roars at the same time. I knew they would be upset, but I was going to…

I heard a boom in my office. We all turned and looked at the mess she made of my office. I heard an ‘oops’ and shook my head. “Seriously? You had to take half of my office apart? I hope you know you are fixing that mess,” I complained as I pointed to the mess.

She nodded her head in respect to the Elders as they looked on with a scared expression on their faces. “I know you don’t want your mates anywhere near the ass, but they need to tell their stories before your King can pronounce judgment on them, plus, I can help with the pain of their memories. It will be as if they were recounting a story of someone else’s life. I will heal their hearts afterward, too. Can you trust me to be there for your mates?”

“Mom, give them a second to think on your words, okay?” My mom nods at me and steps back.

The Elders huddled up and talked to each other through their mind-link. They didn’t know I could listen if I wanted to, but right now I didn’t want to. They had a hard decision to make and only they could make it. I knew it was a battle between what would happen to their mates and what my mom could do to end their suffering. I couldn’t imagine all the suffering they had gone through. I knew my mom had already taken Kat’s suffering away from her and I knew she was very happy about it. I could feel it through our bond.

As if Kat could read my mind, she stepped forward and cleared her throat. “If it makes it any easier, Alpha Summer has already taken my pain and suffering away. I can tell you I feel lighter than ever. She’s left me with some memories, memories that made me stronger. I just wanted you to know what I feel.” Kat stepped back into my arms and hugged me tightly. I rubbed small circles on her back, wanting her to know I would be there for her.

It seemed the Elders had made a decision from Kat’s declaration. I knew they had seen her in the cells too and it was what had helped with their decision. I was proud of Kat. She was strong, not just her power but her mental strength was strong, too. I was paired with the most amazing woman ever. I thought only my mom was amazing. I wanted what my mom and dads' had. It looked as if my prayers had been answered.

“Sonny, we will go get our mates and return as fast as we can,” Elder Wise stated, his eyes were wild about the thought of his mate being in the same room as her captor.

“If you will tell me where they are I can get them here faster. I’m sure you know I can teleport, but please don’t tell anyone.” The Elders nodded their heads. “If you can let your mates know the Beta couple and I will be picking them up. I also need to look into your minds to know where to go. I’m sorry it’s the only way for me to know where they are.”

“You need to read our minds?” One Elder asked, his eyes wild.

“All I will read is the where-a-bouts of your mates. I promise not to dig any further. It’s so I can go exactly where they will be waiting. You only need to think of where she or he is,” I explained to the man, seeing relief at once on his face. I knew he had secrets he needed to keep, he was an Elder after all and he had to make decisions that most people would find repulsive.

“Do you all agree?” Kat asked as she leaned her back against my chest, driving me crazy with want. Any time my mate was in the room with me I wanted her, but this was not the time to get hot and bothered.

“Yes! Yes! Yes!” My wolf exclaimed, not caring if anyone else was in the room when he wanted to mate. I rolled my eyes at my wolf as I stuffed him in the back of my mind before he got me in trouble or embarrassed me.

I was startled out of my lust-filled brain, as Elder Wise spoke. “We all agree. It would take us too much time to get them, plus, our mates might back out if they have time to think about their decisions for a while.”

“Alright, call them and explain to them what you need them for, but make sure they know my mom can take away all the pain and memories of their imprisonment, all their nightmares, and angsts from this, okay?” I asked, laying out our plan to get these women and men to the castle.

“If you need to use the conference room, the room is set up with phones, computers, and coffee,” Windy hinted at Sonny’s need to clear his office.

“Thank you, Beta Windy,” an Elder voiced as he moved out of the room, the others following him.

I stepped out of my office before they made it to the conference room. “Elder’s?" I waited for them to look at me. "Please let me know when your plans are done. I don’t trust this Alpha Alveraz. He might have an idea to take out all the mates he had taken. It would seem this man has no scruples and doesn’t care what he does to the mates and the fate of their partners,” I stated, making sure they understood this was going to have to happen as quickly as possible. They all nodded and bowed, walking the rest of the way into the conference room.

I could hear the Elder’s heart rates rise in fear of what this fucker could do their mates. I knew they were scared and trying not to show it. Maybe I should have not said what I did about the fuckers, maybe plans, but I couldn’t help the way my instincts were screaming at me to hurry. I was so worried I thought about sending my brothers and sisters to get them sooner than the Elders could make their phone calls.
