Chapter 51: Found You

Giselle emerged from the dance studio and, as she reached the corner of the staircase, she spotted Chase chatting with her grandmother.

The two were sitting in the conservatory, engaged in such a harmonious conversation that it seemed as if they were the real family.

The slanting rays of the evening sun cast a warm glow, making the atmosphere between them even more delightful.

Giselle watched from a distance for a while. As she moved closer and heard her grandmother's laughter, she felt a sense of bliss that this kind of life brought.

......

On the twenty-fifth day of Giselle's disappearance, Henry contacted a top-tier mercenary team. It was said that if the person was still on Earth, they could locate them just by using an item of their clothing or personal belongings. After negotiating with the team leader, Henry drove through downtown New York City.

Times Square's electronic billboards were cycling through advertisements, something Henry usually had no interest in.

But today, while waiting for the green light, he glanced up and was instantly stunned.

On that sprawling screen, spanning over ten meters, was the person he had been desperately searching for day and night!

Even though the woman was wearing a mask, Henry was too familiar with Giselle; he could instantly recognize the position of the mole on her chest.

He stared in disbelief for several seconds, unable to comprehend how the person he had searched for so tirelessly could appear so casually and flamboyantly in front of him.

The long line of cars began to honk impatiently, the blaring horns sharp and jarring.

Only when the green light countdown was halfway through did Henry, still in a daze, grip the steering wheel and step on the gas, causing his black Urus to surge forward. He parked the car hastily by the roadside and turned back to look at the screen.

However, in that moment, the screen had already switched to another advertisement.

Standing beneath the screen, he was hoping to see it again.

After waiting for more than ten minutes, with the screen displaying nothing but tedious content, he could not find what he was looking for.

He took out his phone and called Assistant Cooper, who answered immediately, "Mr. Jefferson, what can I do for you?"

"Compile all the submissions for the Times Square electronic billboards and send them to me."

There was a brief silence before Cooper responded, "Mr. Jefferson, that information is internal and might be a bit difficult to obtain."

It wasn't impossible, but it was proprietary information, and acquiring it would not be easy, likely requiring some investment and internal connections.

"At any cost."

With that directive from Henry, Cooper resolutely agreed and immediately started networking to make it happen.

Shortly after, Henry returned to his car. Just as he was about to start the engine, a message came through on his phone; Cooper had already organized the information.

He opened the file, scrolling through until he found the image he was looking for.

It was an advertisement poster from Instagram, featuring a woman with a slender waist and an elegant, yet powerful posture. It was a body that was both pleasing to the eye and unforgettable briefly. Henry stared at the poster for a long time before finding the QR code at the bottom. Scanning it, he discovered it was just a link to a live stream scheduled to start in a day.

A slow smile spread across his face as he took a screenshot of the QR code and sent it to Cooper, ordering him to, "Find out the operating address of this account, as precisely as possible."

To avoid detection, Giselle had always kept her location hidden on Instagram.

She had also negotiated some privileges with the platform, making her account highly private. Tracking the IP address wasn't going to be an easy task.

But her competitor was Henry-a man who practically ruled Sicily. Even the most impregnable walls would crumble before him.

By mid-October, the sycamore trees lining the avenues had begun shedding their leaves, which swirled down in the wind.

Through a car window, Henry stared at the picture on his phone, his fingers sliding over it subtly, as if venting some indescribable emotion.

One day later, Giselle finished her dance teaching early, set up her equipment, and started her live stream.

As soon as she went live, a large crowd of viewers flooded in. The influx of traffic boosted her popularity ranking, attracting even more viewers to her stream.
