Chapter 66 

Seeing herself in Ragnar’s arms, Josephine was startled. “Ragnar, what are you doing? Put me down.” 

Ragnar replied, “Sleeping here makes it easy to catch a cold.” 

“Put me down.” Josephine struggled to get out of Ragnar’s arms. 

Ragnar refused to let her go. “From now on, we are a loving couple as long as Dorothy is present.” 

Josephine became speechless at that statement. 

Hearing it, her mouth was about to twitch. 

“If Grandma Diana knew we were lying to her, she would be very sad. Do you want to make her get sick from getting angry?” While talking, Ragnar had already left the baby room with Josephine in his arms. 

Josephine stayed silent again. She could tell that Diana really liked her. 

Therefore, she was unwilling to make her sad when hearing Ragnar say so. 

She decided she would talk things straight with Diana when she found a suitable opportunity in the future. 

Ragnar carried Josephine back to the bedroom and gently put her on the bed. He then also climbed onto the bed. 

As usual, Josephine was still very uncomfortable sleeping with Ragnar in the same bed while awake. She could only pretend to sleep. 

In fact, only Josephine herself knew that she was currently not sleepy at all. 

Likewise, Ragnar did not feel sleepy either.. 

His sensitivity was always very strong. He could feel that Josephine was just pretending to sleep.

Ragnar could tell from Josephine’s expression that she had other thoughts when Dorothy appeared. 

He did not agree to terminate the agreement.

“You are not only the nanny but also Danny and Manny’s mother and my wife,” Ragnar said. 

Josephine replied, “I know. You don’t have to keep reminding me.” 

“Glad you still remember it.” Hearing her answer, Ragnar was satisfied. 

“Yeah.” Josephine nodded. “Let’s go to sleep.” 

After saying that, she turned sideways and closed her eyes to pretend to sleep. 

Ragnar just glanced at Josephine, who had turned around and felt he had to do something tonight. 

When Josephine closed her eyes and went to sleep, the man pressed over her, “Since we can’t sleep, how about we…” 

Josephine saw the desire in the man’s eyes and immediately said, “I can fall asleep soon….. um.“ 

Ragnar had pressed his lips against hers, and Josephine’s mind went blank when he kissed her hard. 

As soon as her small hand was about to push the other away and refuse, Ragnar grabbed Josephine’s hands and lifted them over her head. He kissed her more fiercely. 

Seeing the man getting out of control, Josephine immediately said, “Ragnar, we can’t!”

“Why not?” The man’s hoarse voice had a sense of grievance. 

“Today is my ovulation period, and I might become pregnant… Josephine replied. 

Ragnar responded, “You can give birth to the baby if you get pregnant…” 

Josephine insisted on refusing. “No, I can’t. Danny and Manny are still young… I have to take care of them.” 

Ragnar looked at the woman with dark eyes. At this moment, he really wanted to devour her.

Josephine went silent. 

The next day, the sun rose from the east, and Josephine slowly opened her eyes. 

The beam of sunlight refracted into the room and shone on her body, which was warm and exceptionally comfortable. 

Ragnar’s figure on her side was long gone. 

Josephine lifted the blanket and got out of bed, entering the bathroom to wash up. 

She had nothing to do for the morning, so she made an appointment to search for houses. 

Josephine felt sorry for the grievances that Yennefer had suffered when she was with the Zimmerman family, so she made up her mind to give her a home of her own. 

In that way, there was no need for Yennefer to act according to others‘ whims and wishes anymore. 

Josephine put on clean clothes and went downstairs. 

Dorothy had been waiting for her in the living room for a long time. When she saw Josephine, she immediately walked to stand before her and pointed at her arrogantly. “I’ll give you two days to divorce Ragnar.” 

“You let Ragnar talk to me about this.” Josephine was not bothered by Dorothy’s attitude. 

“You!” Dorothy got angry. 

“What else do you need from me? If there’s nothing else, please give way.” 

Although Josephine was just a nanny and was no match for Dorothy’s identity, she must know how to protect herself 

“Josephine, don’t blame me for my actions if you don’t get a divorce within two days!” Dorothy did not make her words clear enough. She believed that Josephine knew what she was saying. 

She was once again laying out threats. 

Josephine turned unhappy. Her beautiful eyes showed a hint of sternness. “Ms. Smith, instead of threatening me here, you should persuade Ragnar! As long as he agrees to divorce me, I don’t have any opinion.” 

After that, Josephine ignored Dorothy and walked away, leaving the mansion, 

Ever since Dorothy grew up, no one had ever dared to give her a hard time. She did not expect she would get annoyed by a mere housekeeper. 

She could not easily let it go and swallow the anger. 

After Josephine left the mansion, she walked a long way to the bus station. 

Soon, the bus stopped. When she got in the vehicle, she gave the estate agent a call. 

She had been searching for a house all morning but did not manage to find one she liked. 

Either the house was too expensive that she could not afford it, or it was because of the poor lighting of the building floor. In short, no house suited her requirements. 

Josephine sighed and shrugged, putting away all her fatigue. 

She thought, “When it comes to buying a house, I can’t just buy it once I see one. It needs to be done slowly. No need to be in a rush to do so.” 

In the afternoon, she had to go to the Hayes residence and teach Yvette the piano. 

As usual, as soon as Josephine arrived at the residence, she saw Yvette standing at the door waiting for her in the distance.. 

Yvette’s childish face immediately showed a happy smile when she saw Josephine, and she instantly ran toward the latter with little steps. 

Seeing Yvette, Josephine also smiled and hugged her in her arms. 

Before she could open her mouth, Yvette’s soft, sweet, and melodious voice sounded, “Ms. Yeager, I missed you.” 

Josephine chuckled and pinched the tip of her tiny nose. “I missed you too. Let’s go in.” 

While chatting, Josephine had put Yvette down from the hug 

“Okay, Yvette responded. She took the initiative to hold Josephine’s big hand with her tiny hand and entered the house.

As soon as they entered, Josephine saw Christopher sitting on the couch and reading the newspaper elegantly. 

Mr. Hayes, Josephine greeted him politely. 

“Ms. Yeager, you had come. Please have a seat.” The smile on Christopher’s face was very gentle, which gave a feeling of warmth.
