He immediately ordered a housekeeper to pour water for Josephine. 

Josephine thanked the housekeeper and was about to enter the piano room with Yvette. 

Christopher’s voice sounded from behind as soon as she took two steps. He said, “Ms. Yeager, I heard that you want to buy a house?” 

Hearing this, Josephine was surpnsed. 

Christopher didn’t expect him to know that she was going to buy a house. 

She turned to look at Christopher and asked, “Mr. Hayes, how did you know?” 

Christopher smiled warmly and said, “You are Yvette’s teacher, and she likes you a lot. Hence, I paid more attention to you.” 

As long as it was something Yvette liked, Christopher would try his best to satisfy her. 

“Thank you!”

“You’re welcome.” Christopher smiled gently and continued, “Ms. Yeager, a friend of mine has moved abroad. He happens to have a house to sell. Are you interested?” 

“Sure.” Josephine agreed without hesitation. 

However, after she agreed, the expression on her face became a little unnatural. She said in a low voice, “Forget about it, Mr. Hayes. 

Christopher was a person of high status, and his friends should be all rich and wealthy. Hence, they must live in mansions. 

She couldn’t afford them. 

“What’s wrong? Didn’t you agree to it just now?” 

Josephine put on an awkward smile. “Mr. Hayes, I can’t afford your friend’s house, so I’d better not look at it.” 

Christopher smiled and replied, “My friend has recently moved abroad and is in a hurry to sell it. The house is not expensive. It seems to be about 300 thousand dollars.” 

“I see.” Josephine fell into deep thought. 

If the house was good, she could pay 300 thousand dollars for it. 

Christopher said, “Let’s check out the house first before making a decision. Okay?” 

Seeing that she seemed hesitant, he added, “Don’t worry. He comes from a rich family. He lives in a high–end residential area. There is no security issue. The location is good too. Besides, his house hasn’t been occupied for long, so all the equipment is still new. If you buy it, you just need to move in with your bag. It’s very cost–effective. Josephine was very excited. She looked at Christopher and asked, “Is that okay?” 

“I’ll call him first and reply to you later.”

The call was answered quickly. Christopher stated his purpose and soon ended the call. 

Christopher put away his phone and walked to Josephine with a gentle smile on his face. “Ms. Yeager, my friend agreed.”

At that moment, she smiled happily. “That’s great. Thank you, Mr. Hayes.” 

Christopher watched her joyful smile. It was like a ray of sunshine shining into his heart.

Christopher said softly, “You’re welcome. It’s not a big deal.” 

“Mr. Hayes, can you take me to have a look at the house after I teach Yvette?” 

Josephine couldn’t wait to see the house. 

Since the price was appropriate, if the house was good enough, she would definitely buy it. 

“Ms. Yeager, we can skip a lesson. You can go with Daddy now.” 

Yvette held Josephine’s hand. Her beautiful eyes were flashing, and she looked extremely adorable. 

She was so happy to be able to help Josephine.

“You’re welcome.” Christopher smiled gently and continued, “Ms. Yeager, let’s go. I’ve scheduled an appointment with my friend. He’s already waiting.”

Josephine was really grateful for Christopher. 

“Ms. Yeager, you don’t have to be so polite to Daddy. He has always been a warm–hearted person. It’s not a big deal to him.” 

Yvette was good at observing at a young age. She could tell that Josephine was very reserved. 

“Yvette is right. Ms. Yeager, you no longer need to show me courtesy.” Christopher pretended to be gloomy. He soon continued, “If you don’t mind, let’s be friends.” 

Hearing this, Josephine was slightly stunned. 

She and Christopher had very different statuses, so she never thought that they could be friends.

“Then it’s a deal.” Christopher smiled warmly and continued, “Since we are friends, we don’t have to call each other Mr. Hayes or Ms. Yeager. Just call me by name.” 

Josephine felt a little uncomfortable. However, she nodded at last. “Okay” 

“Let’s go.” Christopher made a gentlemanly gesture toward her. 

Josephine nodded and walked with Yvette.
